So. This book is a thing I wrote. And of everything I’ve written so far, it’s probably the hardest to describe. There are Faustian deals and Lovecraftian horrors, but mostly this book is about people. It’s about how the scariest monsters are often human and to escape those monsters we must leave parts of ourselves behind.

I’m quite proud of this book, and I hope my readers will love it.

Peachyfruitie It was such a sweet book!!
My heart just BROKE at James' sacrifice and I sat down on the floor for the next half hour crying for all of them. I love love love it PLEASE SPARE ME THE PAIN!!

Kristin Sledge I can't put it in words how much I adore this book. I adore the world it's set in, I adore the twists and turns of it, I even adore the heartbreak it holds.

Dee is in such good company with Cal, Riley, Gremma, but for me the real show stealer was James. Yes, he's the love interest we're all supposed to swoon over; but the way he looks at Dee is what makes him so amazing. Dee was a survivalist for so long, it was so wonderful to watch their relationship evolve.

I just can't say enough great things about this world. The Daemons, Voids, even the humunculi(sp?) hold such a high place in my own heart.

I would love to read stories from other troops, or even the original story for James' perspective. I'm just salivating for more. And being an Oregon girl had me smirking at all the places Dee and James ventured. It's so rare to find a true nod to Oregon in fiction.

Thank you for this wonderful ride, It's one I'll be purchasing friends and family member for birthdays and Christmas' for years to come ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
