I love DBR's Vampires in America series so I was totally pumped to pick up her new book about shifters. Shifter Planet was like a mash up of Avatar and a PNR and it totally worked. The world building was a little slow in the beginning but still well done. Amanda was a strong and capable heroine without being over the top, and Rhodry was alpha and delicious. I loved the adventure plot line, but my only complaint was that when they did return to the city it seemed a little rushed. Was there no consequences for Nando and his sabotage? Maybe I missed that.

Anyway I really hope there will be more stories set in the Shifter Planet world.
