Shifter Planet (Shifter Planet, #1)

I am going to start off by saying I love D.B Reyonlds Vampires in America series but Shifter Planet not so much. I really think what was the big frustration for me was the pages and pages of text, No real meaningful interaction between the characters (main or other). We got some talking here and there but it really was all about Amanda (the heroine) and her quest to join the shifter planets Guild Hall. So the story talks about what she did, how she prepared, months going by etc. No real connection between the Rhodry (the Hero) or Amanda, at least for me.
This went on for 50 percent of the book.
Then after the 50 percent it picked up and became more interesting. A lot more talking and interacting and it became a good story.

I'm sorry you're disappointed... I found myself enjoying all the preparations Amanda've done and, most of all, the twist about a heroine being equal in physical power to the hero! :)
