Kindness Goes Unpunished (Walt Longmire, #3)

This book takes a real chance by moving the locale to Philly particularly since it seemed that so much of the charm of the series lay in its Wyoming setting. It showed that it is the characters' roots in Wyoming that makes them interesting as they do not change to fit the big city. This was in fact my favorite of the series. While it is # 4, I have read them out of order, maybe 9 total. I love Henry and he was great in the ballpark scene. Also loved that Vic's mother was a large part of this book and she added a surprising dimension to Walt. But in addition to the great story line, I loved that a key part of the story was Philly since I often visit family there. Better yet, a grand child is in Gladwyn and rides at the stables there. Don't want to add a spoiler, but just saying' .... It is important to the plot! Also, I will now have to visit and pay attention to Philadelphia's Indian statues. Who knew?
