I am reading your book now. I can see how all of this happened. Why are so many people saying you made most of it up? I am shocked.
Dear Misty, thank you so much for your book. It must have been very difficult to write. I can only say that it has stayed with me since I read it. I believe it helps to raise awareness of child abuse, and also abuse to the elderly and mentally disabled. I wish you all the happiness, because you have suffered more than enough.
Your spirit could not be crushed. God bless you and the little girl inside you! You are a child of God!
I just finished your book Tears Of The Silenced, my heart goes out to you and every young person that this happens too. My question is that I live up in Tonasket Washington and was wondering what little town you lived in when you were up on the mountain. The way you described it being by the Canada boarder and 1.5 hrs away from Wenatchee, left me thinking your town could be very close to where I currently live. Just curious what town you were in. Thank You!
What courage it must have taken to survive, escape and reveal all of this. May many people be encouraged to fight back.
