Unputdownable. Love two women/1 man love triangles. It ups the angst factor in my opinion. Don't know why. Quinn and Daisy were childhood friends and teenage lovers. They were always meant to be together. But Alexis was their friend too. And she was there for Quinn when Daisy had to move. Now they're all at the same college and all that old hurt has resurfaced combined with betrayal to make it one helluva read.
My only criticism is I think I would have liked Alexis added to the epilogue. I don't think she was a villain and I do wish for her to have a happy life. I hope she did. But, overall, excellent read and I'm looking forward to more from Toby and Pippa. Well done....more

Wow. Drive is one of those books that stays with you long after you read The End. The angst was delicious. The character development was some of the best I've read.
Stella is definitely the heroine of the year. She was amazing. Stewart gave her a stellar personality with incredible dialogue. The way she unashamedly and without fear wore her emotions for everyone to see was refreshing in a heroine. I wanted to be Stella's BFF.
Reid was so complex. I hope Stewart decides in the future to give us some scenes from Reid's pov. I was dying to get inside his head. He was the opposite of Stella. He didn't let anyone see anything. I wanted to hug him.
And Nate...dayum that man was hot. He did not mince words or play games. Stella always knew what he wanted and most of the time it was her. And he's the one my heart broke for out of everyone.
Just a beautiful story of love's imperfect journey. Even if you're not a fan of angst or love triangles I'd still recommend this book for you. Do yourself a favor and read it. ...more

Wow. Ladies and gentlemen that's how you end a love triangle trilogy. Amazing. It's no secret I've been Team Trace but I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed no matter who Danni chose. And I wasn't. My lips are sealed. Don't peek! Read it through and enjoy the experience.
I wasn't sure how to feel when I first started reading. The situation felt contrived and a teensy bit cheesy but it quickly got back on track. Loads of sexy times. And prepare to cry the entire final thirty percent. It was beautiful. Bravo....more

I've been partial to Team Trace but I think no matter how this love triangle is going to end, everybody is going to be hurt in some way. I can honestly say I adore everyone involved. The guys put Danni in an impossible situation so I don't blame her for being indecisive.
But I'm happy with the way things were left for now. It was the right decision. There's definitely going to be some action in book three. I think the boys' skills are going to shine. Hopefully all the secrets will unfold. Nicely done....more

Lake is an ambitious sixteen year old girl. Urged on by her father, she has the best grades and she's strategic with her electives and volunteer work. She's all set to attend USC. Her older sister Tiffany is nineteen and a little more of a free bird. She cares about music, boys, and shopping. She's a bit aimless and their father has given up on her. Tiffany would never admit it but it bothers her.
The construction across the street from their house had them both happening to meet Manning Sutter. He's twenty-three years old and he's just trying to get by. A tragedy from his past has him easily befriending the girls.
I ended up really liking this story. It went in a direction I wasn't expecting and I'm looking forward to more. ...more

Now in this book you might lose patience with our angel cake but you've got to give her time to work through Wulf and Liam's betrayal. She's understandably upset and she feels used, especially when she was nothing but honest with them both from the get go. And you know they're both going to come on strong to win back her trust. That's bound to turn any girl into knots so see it through. Let her work it out. It'll be worth it I promise.
We're introduced to new characters in this book. Seeing as it's called The Neighborhood we meet some sexy new neighbors - Gaten, Lana, Vieve returns, and we meet Wulf's youngest sister, Brighton. Intriguing all of them.
Ahhh Wulf. Ninety-five percent of readers want you to succeed (my own figure I plucked from the sky). Did you learn your lesson? Did you realize you were in love when your deceit was unveiled? I think so. And he's patient but aggressive. Totally swoony.
"Oh, really? And why exactly am I going to lose, oh wise and all knowing Wulfric?" "Because you're still thinking of it as a game, and regardless of what she said tonight, she stopped being a game to me a long time ago."
Finally, I have to say I love what Fantôme did with Liam's character. No she didn't change him don't worry. He's still charismatic with that boyish charm but she gave him a vulnerability and a back story that makes you just want to give him a squeeze. But he's also a complex man and I can't wait to know more. What a great sequel. Well done. ...more

This really is an amazing series. This book picks up where Mother Before Wife left off. Aspen, no longer able to rely on her husband, enlists the help of Jonathan, a police detective, to try and take down Prophet Clarence Black and ultimately stop his impending marriage to her young daughter.
This book was full of suspense. I was on the edge of my seat. Once again I admire Aspen's commitment to her faith. It would have been easier just to leave with her children. But Aspen didn't want easy. She wants change. She wants to live in peace. One corrupt man can't shake her beliefs.
We find out what the prophet is up to in this book and I gasped out loud. I couldn't believe it. I hadn't even considered it. And it broke my heart.
I especially liked the romance aspect. Brown had me on my toes. I didn't know what was going to happen. I still don't, to be honest. I'm certainly looking forward to the next book. Well done. ...more

Sadie screwed up big time. But so did Nathan. Others may disagree with me but he was partly to blame. He checked out and left his emotionally needy wife vulnerable. He should have confessed what was bothering him. Because he was right to have his feelings too.
The uncanny connection Sadie had with Finn made me question if Sadie and Nathan were going to make it. That combined with finding out the reason for Nathan's coldness had me glued to the pages to find out everything. I was happy with the ending. An epilogue would have been nice but I'll live. I was glad to read Andrew is getting a story. I'm looking forward to it. Nicely done.

Evie meets other Arcana after Richter and Circe strike and displace her. I thought this book had more character development and zero forward progression with the storyline. I'm eager for the game to move along. I'm happiest with the action scenes.

Going into this book I was firmly Team Jackson. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship, especially since everything is out in the open now. But this felt like two different books - part one Jackson, part two Death. That's the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because this book is so romance focused that the game was neglected. We get to know Death more intimately now. And curse you Kresley Cole for making me love him! This is one of those love triangles where the heroine has an impossible choice, I'm going to be sad for the loser. But I'm excited to read on. Dead of Winter promises lots of action and I'm dying for Evie to be reunited with her friends and allies. Great story!...more

This book was a very sweet read. Corey Callahan and Adam Hartley are neighbors in the handicapped-accessible dorms of Harkness college. Hartley (they call each other by their last names) broke his leg in a climbing accident forcing him to sit out the hockey season. Callahan is wheelchair bound after a paralyzing hockey accident earlier in the year.
The pair hit it off right away with their ability to poke fun at their own predicament and their love of video game hockey. But...Hartley has a girlfriend. A gorgeous, snobby, high-maintenance, what in the world do you have in common kind of girlfriend.
But she's traveling Europe for a month so it's the perfect time for Callahan and Hartley to get closer. And they do. I thought it took Hartley a few days too long to get his head out of his bum but I liked his back story with his father and strangely I understood his reasoning.
I always liked Callahan. She was easy-going and I thought the author did a great job paining the picture of a day in the life of a handicapped person.
This was just an all around light-hearted, easy read but I don't think I'll be continuing the series. ...more

If you, like me, found yourself thinking book one was just okay, my advice is to see it through. This book made me feel two things - tears and arousal. If I wasn't crying I was turned on. This is the most erotic book Godwin has written imo. And I've read them all.
Evie and her guardians have found the key to saving the women. But they're also doing everything they can to spare Evie from the prophecy. Especially Jesse. The sexual tension is thick in the beginning and evil Ms. Godwin makes you suffer for many chapters. But when she finally gives it to us...ho boy does she ever.
But she also makes us feel the love and the unbreakable bond between the three men and one woman. It works for them. It makes sense. You can feel the loss when one of them is missing but at the same time you're glad the three remaining have each other.
That ending was devastating. I can't imagine what the final book will entail without this character. But I'll be reading. Well done. ...more
