I was in AGONY (pun intended) after the cliffhanger of the first book in the Entangled Hearts duet and the wait was killing me imagining my poor Cooper devastated watching the love of his life walking down the aisle towards another man.
I'll be honest and say that I loved Agony just a tad bit more than Bliss and that's solely on the heavy angst and the building of Reece and Cooper's bond. Bliss picked up exactly were Agony left off and I don't wanna get into the story too much an ruin it for others. All I'm going to say is there was a clearly different dynamic between Cooper and Reece from what we got to know during the first book and it was to be expected. Their relationship is evolving and their bond is strengthening. I loved the support they received from the people surrounding them and how much they both fought for their happily ever after. Cooper is simply the man every girl dreams of, WHEN he gets his head out of his ass, his words not mine.
Kaylee Ryan's writing gave life to these characters and I honestly couldn't stop reading once I started. And I STILL wanted more. Her writing gets better with each new book of hers I read and I simply adore how her mind works. This is definitely a duet I'll be recommending left and right, non stop.

There are so many points I want to make, mention aspects and scenes that had me either roaring-laughing or so hot and bothered, I needed a cold shower. This was such a surreal book for me to read, but Holy hook-ups, Batman! I FREAKING LOVED IT!!!!
Seriously, Somerville's has become one of my favourite places to be and I was so excited to get back there. I have been waiting for Tessa and Dylan's story for over a year now. And even though the wait was long and brutal the payoff couldn't have been better. Only Yours was everything I wanted it and needed it to be. Both Tessa and Dylan felt like they were coming off the pages, they felt so real and with real anxieties and issues. Things everyone can relate to.
Tessa was a BAD@$$, strong and independent woman that had her doubts and insecurities. Being in Tessa's head, I lived through her anxiety and self-doubt, her determination and strength. It was all so real and I couldn't help but cheer her on throughout the book. And honestly, how amazing that for once the woman is architect? Power to us sister!!!!
As for Dylan, he had the most amazing character development of all the Somerville men. There were points were you wanted to smack him but by the next scene you wanted to be all like 'come here baby, let me cuddle you and make you feel better, you sweet cinnamon roll.' Dylan was smooth and charming but had a heart of gold and thank god Tessa could see behind the carefree f***boy he was in the beginning.
The chemistry was off the charts and the spiciness of this book surprised me and thrilled me at the same time. (Dirty talker Dylan FOR THE WIN!) Their connection was palpable and their banter had me in stitches! Add to that the hilarious supporting cast, you'll have trouble breathing.
I am still not over how good the writing was. How the authors translated the characters' feelings and doubts and their realness....man they felt so real!!! I simply did not want this book to end!
Once Yours is Claire Raye at their best in my opinion and I'm here for what comes next with the Somerville gang.

It seriously just keeps getting better and better.
A second chance book, The Trailblazer follows high school sweethearts, Declan and Vivi. Their past is filled with both sweetness and heartache. A devastating event brings them back together and they end up in a marriage of convenience. Both still love each other beyond reason and never got over each other, but misunderstandings of the past kept them apart for years and now Declan fights for Vivi's trust and love.
This story was full of heartache but also heartwarming scenes. Their connection was soul deep and watching them navigate married life, secrets of the past and their struggle to move form on solid ground was so great to watch. These two were soulmates to the core and it was so satisfying to watch.
Can't wait to see how Simms redeems himself and surrenders to all that love can offer you.

I knew from the very first book that Gage's story would break me but I didn't know how it would put me back together.
This is not a light and fluffy book. You need to take the trigger warnings the author provides seriously.
Both Gage and Sadie's stories were heartbreaking, and at this point in my life, Sadie's hit a little too close to home for me. But it was also full of hope and optimism and love and patience. I absolutely adored how both characters were patient and working on themselves but also being there for each other while fighting demons that threatened to win. The resilience and determination of both Sadie and Gage was awe inspiring and I couldn't help but cheer them on.
And their chemistry? *fans self* Dear Lord, deliver me.... We are not just talking about fireworks here! It was the whole shebang! Off the charts.
This is such a bittersweet end, because on one hand I am so happy for Gage to finally have the peace and HEA he deserves but on the other, this series just ended and I am not ready to let them go just yet.
If you love tortured heroes, broken heroines, second chances, love after loss and secret babies then this story is for you! But in order to get the full impact of Gage's story, you better start with Controlled ChaosControlled Chaos .Trust me, you won't regret the journey.
Nikki Ash, I applaud you for the way you handled so delicately this story and did justice to the characters. Absolutely brilliant.

The moment I finished Controlled Chaos I was already on pins and needles for this one. In the first book, we get a glimpse of the single day that would shape up most of these stories, and that tease lives rent free in my mind, making me crave those stories.
With Camden's HEA, it's time for Braxton to face his past and fight for his future. Six years after Kaylee's betrayal, the hurt is still evident and Braxton is just tying to numb the pain and memories. Kaylee's actions that single day set her up for years of struggle. Needing a lifeline, Kaylee is hired as the PR for Raging Chaos' tour, meaning that a reunion is inevitable and the tour might just become a war zone with that much tension and unanswered questions still festering.
I really liked the characters and the premise was amazing, but for me the side characters and their dramas grabbed my attention more. That might be because form the beginning, I wanted Gabe's story the most and after this book, Declan is close second.
Nonetheless, the writing was on point, the angst - oh so delicious, and Braxton was so sweet and protective and simply a cinnamon roll when you moved past his initial cruel demeanor. Kaylee was a fighter through and through, and I loved how she owned up to her mistakes and how she fought for Braxton. Their connection was palpable and their bow-chica-wow-wow times were off the charts scorching hot.
I don't think I am ready for what's to come after the events of the last page. I know Declan and more importantly Gage are going to destroy me, but call me a masochist and give me hose boys' stories ASAP! ...more
