SO AWFUL! definitely the worst read of this year, one of my worst reads ever!! i cant even explain how horrible and embarrassing this is. tessa bailey what happened here? how??...more

apparently every character had their brain washed, because there’s absolutely no ways this isn’t out of character for every single character, but specifically for belly, since when she would forgive cheating so easily to accept the proposal? and from someone that never actually loved her, that just loved the chase, because he only enjoyed to compete with his brother, but he never loved belly, and we can have the final proof after this book, if you cheat is because there’s no love. and the case is closed. i’m so bitter about the ending, like what do you mean belly and conrad aren’t endgame? they’ve always loved each other, but’s she’s too busy being stupid to realize the only guy that actually always loved her, it’s actually not enough for her, because her heart prefers cheaters. just please go have some shame belly, and i say with love, but c’mon!!! ...more

and that’s another book that doesn’t deserve the hype. i know they wanted to show how much she loves romcoms, and how badly she wants to fall in love, and that’s another book that doesn’t deserve the hype. i know they wanted to show how much she loves romcoms, and how badly she wants to fall in love, but they forgot just one thing... they actually forgot to develop her, to create better details to her personality, and writing her so well, so we could actually care about her. childhood enemies to friends to lovers sounds so interesting, but there’s so much wasted potential. it’s just sad you know? the references to romcoms, also to notting hill and long shot, were the only decent moments to be read, and the best references of course....more

this book is so engaging, interesting and very addictive. i couldn't stop reading even though i knew i didn't care about the characters, because there isn't a decent development or arc about them, i just cared about the plot which is extremely similar to knives out, and it definitely won me over so i couldn't stop reading. i keep thinking that if the characters had great arcs and good developments during this book, i would definitely rate it 4 stars, and maybe 4,5 stars depending on my attachment level. i’m speechless with this ending!! holy shit!! this problematic billionaire family is serving up so much drama, and i'm here for it. ...more

I had seen so many people talking about how overrated the works of Colleen Hoover are, and I decided to start with this one, and Oh my God! I think I I had seen so many people talking about how overrated the works of Colleen Hoover are, and I decided to start with this one, and Oh my God! I think I found out what extreme boredom means. If all her books are like this one, I guarantee that I’ll hate all of them. I was already forgetting to tell how much I was annoyed by the mention of Ellen De Generes in her diary, telling about absolutely everything that happens in her life, very detailed. I hoped at least someone would leak her diary, and someone on Ellen's team would call her on the show, but here I am, but disappointed than I expected. In fact, why she decided to deal with an issue as serious as abuse in a few chapters, just focusing more on romance, while I read this book I felt that abuse had not happened, but it happened! Colleen should have explored more, because after all it is a very serious, and unfortunately it’s so common around the world. It was a very serious topic that was terribly explored. I hated it this book....more

While I was reading this book, I was thinking about the Empire Records, Almost Famous and High Fidelity vibes this book has. The characters are amazing, and honestly characters are so important, because the plot can be good, but if the characters aren’t interesting, automatically the plot is almost bad, with something missing. Thankfully this book was the opposite, everything was incredible, amazing, what a ride. Daisy Jones, wow that girl is brave, and her passion is so beautiful to read, I really loved her....more

How it feels good to read a book that consumes all of you, making you breathe and thinking about the book, the only thing your brain could focus on. a real brainrot. it’s definitely way better than hunger games, it brings more familiarity to the reader, more knowledge about each character, in matters of literacy. there’s a lot more about this book, it’s just so close from being almost perfect. i’m absolutely stunned, and now i want to rewatch the hunger games (again)...more
