Being a big women’s basketball fan I liked the jargon and it was obvious that Eliza is a fan as well. I wish Boston would’ve gotten the expansion team in real life!
I love a good enemies to lovers and Eliza knows how to write chemistry. There was a lot more spice than I thought there would be, if I’m being honest but I’m not complaining. I give it ...more

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with Can someone please tell me how EVERY book in this series hits? There have been 6 so far and I loved them all.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this prequel but I was so pleasantly surprised by it. The writing as usual was great, the story telling keeps you engaged and it’s still so freaking spicy. I love the way Lily can give us something different every time. Lots of authors tend to regurgitate things when writing a long series, but not her. I find my eyebrows raised each and every time. Zenith was not at all what I expected and I loved her sweet soul so so much.
Conclusion: another banger. Another winner. Can’t wait for the next one. Spice rating ...more

I really enjoyed this. Have you ever had a babysitter you crushed on and wondered what would happen if you two met years later? So far I have read every installment in this series and every single one I’ve enjoyed and this was no exception. This book was definitely darker than its predecessors so please read the TWs before reading. I personally love a dark romance so this was right up my alley. It is currently 3:30 am and I just finished reading this because quite simply, I couldn’t put it down. I realized pretty early on that this was gonna be a drawn out slow burn kind of book which I usually turn my nose at because I’m impatient. Omg, was this worth the wait.
I loved this book, okay? I fucking loved it. The story was real and enjoyable. I enjoyed the writing very much. The dialogue flowed so well. I could feel the emotions felt on the page. Brynn, my god Brynn, she’s perfect no? I fell in love with her myself!
Let me tell y’all something. I’m big on spice and heat and I was ready to devour this without even getting a single on page sex scene. THAT is how good the chemistry is between these two MCs. That being said, the on page sex was delicious. Very impressed and I give it ...more

By the start of this book I of course wanted Aurora and Hadria to be together. I found myself filled with adrenaline a few times while reading this. I think they are my favorite couple so far and I hope we get to see more of them in the future.

Hades is the epitome of a closed off ice queen who runs her own crew. I thought the whole working during the night was an interesting take, it gave me vampire vibes.

Another great installment to the series. I enjoyed the idea I’m kind of back dating here because I realized I never actually wrote a review for this.
Another great installment to the series. I enjoyed the idea of the nest instead just a normal couple. As always the storytelling is great. While I come to these books for the spice, I ALWAYS stay for the plot. I enjoyed getting to read about the terror twins since the last time we heard of them was in book two, Never Yours.

In all the best ways possible. It was dark, it was painful, it was melancholy, beautiful, and brave. My goodness, this one shot right up to my favorites list.
I have found that I absolutely love a good dark f/f romance, and this didn’t disappoint. I’m not really sure I’ve got the words to explain my feelings about it. The characters are FLAWED, but they are beautifully flawed. Lex is extremely flawed and angry and hungry for revenge but you can easily resonate with how broken she is inside. How all she wants is someone to love her and mean it. Luna, the good hearted young woman had no idea what she was getting herself into but so bravely went all in for Lex. To help her heal, to help extinguish that rage, to fill her heart with love. It’s just gorgeous.
I loved the nods to classic lit, and the irony behind Lex and Luna both loving tragedies only to live one together. The writing was fantastic. Darling’s dialogue for Lex was slightly outdated in the sense that she spoke like she lived in literature and tragedies. But it worked so so well. The smoothness in which she quoted Shakespeare during their argument gave me goosebumps, because even tho I’m not a fan of him, the words hit me in my chest.
All of that, and I haven’t even given it a rating on my chili scale. It gets a ...more

Boss of Her is a good way to start off the series. I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters and I am personally a sucker for a good forbidden romance. I enjoyed seeing them give in to their feelings for one another. I picked up on a few things while reading that most likely hint at what another one of the installments will be and I’m pretty excited for that.

This is the third and final book in this series and I think this finale was a great send off for this group of crazy friends. We are given another enemies to lovers book which I am an absolute fan of, so I couldn’t wait to read this.
The character development was wonderful, especially since we already got the opportunity to meet Remy in book 1. In book 3 we get a great look at Bella and who she is and how important she becomes to Remy. I love the way Ruby has the ability to give us the other members of the group during the book but keeping the main focus on the main characters. This story was about Remy and Bella and that was where our attention was.
The plot was fun. I found myself trying to play detective along with Remy and the gang for most of the book. It’s easy to get submersed into the world of magicians who are actually hackers, which lets be honest is a pretty cool idea. I felt that the story flowed well, made sense, and gave us a good ending. Magic and fantasy with f/f relationships at the forefront I feel is so underrated and we could absolutely do with more of it.
Now let’s get to the good part, yeah? The heat scale of this gem. I give it ...more

I found this book in the “recommended” section of my kindle store; I’m a sucker for Mafia and arranged marriages so I didn’t really hesitate to download. It was completely worth it. I read a few prelim reviews and saw that this was the authors debut and I think it is extremely well done.
For starters I loved the premise. Ice Queen Mafia boss and a wild child being forced into a union? Sign me up. I loved Caitlin and her wild red hair and adrenaline junkie attitude. She knows what she wants and it isn’t to be married to Juno, who is her polar opposite. Beautiful but hard as stone and not very interested in dealing with someone so free spirited. Of course they end up falling for one another (which lets be honest is always the best part) but it seems the world is against them.
Since this was a new author for me I wasn’t sure what the heat rating would be like, which is fine, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not so hot that you can’t read it in public, but hot enough that we feel satisfied after enduring the tension between them.
Overall, I really enjoyed this and devoured it in one sitting. Book 2 comes out in a few days and I’m so glad I picked this one up when I did. If I had to wait any longer I would’ve been heart broken!...more
