And I’ve loved every minute, and have made so many wonderful bookish friends. I’m so grateful for all the likes and comments on my reviews, updates, and posts – the response has been overwhelming. I’ve loved reading all your reviews and book updates, and I’ve discovered so many amazing authors and books that I would never have heard of otherwise thanks to my friends on here. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
After much soul searching, thinking, and re-organising I finally came up with my Top 18 Reads for 2018 (also posted on Instagram: @nzlisam.ig). This was no small fete as out of the 98 books I’ve read this year, 51 received all the stars, and another 7 were 4.5 reads. Congratulations to those who made the cut, I agonised over wanting to include all my 5 star reads, but I had to draw the line somewhere. Note that Anthony Horowitz appears a whopping three times, and is currently my favourite author Thank you so much to all the amazing writers, quite of few of which I only discovered this year. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to reading many more fantastic books in 2019.
