I really enjoyed this book more so than the Zodiac series. The narrator was really good and brought the characters to life really well, I enjoyed listening to him. While there were some darker parts, it wasn't all dark and there were some sweet parts between Levy and Elliott as well as Levy and June even if those were sweet in a dark way. I wouldn't have minded and MMM but in the end fated mates won out. Maybe they'll get some playtime in between the three of them. I'm looking forward to the next book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review....more

Finley and Kage, these two men gave my emotions a thorough workout as I read their stories and as they created a new story together. Two scarred and broken men who together made a f**ked up kinky whole. They both had so much to learn and so much to teach each other and I loved experiencing every moment of their journey and learning more about BDSM and it's many permutations.
I enjoy the way the author is able to thread the characters from previous books into the story in a way that enhances it for those of us who have read the previous books but those who haven't won't be confused (I do recommend all the other books in the series as well as Stitch Me).
I can't wait to see what K.C. Carmine writes next.

Sam Stark, an own voices trans narrator was the perfect choice for Dallas' character and Bryant Walker did a great job of bringing Beck to life.
Following on from Bad Dogs, I was immediately drawn back into Beck, Dallas, Roman and Scout's lives as they make a home in the house they rented together, this found family of slightly broken people who need each other to survive.
This is Beck and Dallas' story and oh my god did it pull at my heartstrings in so many ways. (There are some wonderful quotes I will pull out and add when I publish this on my blog) These guys made me care so much, I hurt with them, struggled with them, rejoiced with them and hoped against everything that they would beat the odds. Beck especially because he is still caught up in the gang that got hold of him years before when as a boy he needed the connection he thought they were offering.
Dallas was so much stronger than he realised, I could never have gone through what he had been through and I am so glad he and Beck found each other when they did. Dallas' dysphoria around his body was raw and emotional and Beck couldn't have been a better friend and then lover, knowing what he needed and researching what he could do to help him, really showed the depth of love they shared.
These 4 strays and their dog, take on 2 more strays and a kitten, it is heartbreaking to me what some children, and adults go through because of their family or community. Calvin, a young boy finds in Beck and Dallas two people who can give him things he sorely needs. Dallas' experience as a trans man means he can support Calvin in ways his brother Theo can't. And Beck, well Beck gives Calvin someone to look up to and emulate in ways he needs.
This found family hold each other up and always have each other's backs. I really hope we get to see more of them because Theo definitely has a story of his own to share.
I am grateful to Riley Nash for giving me another layer of understanding about trans people and for giving a voice to people like Dallas and Calvin and the other Strays.
Please heed the trigger warnings that the author notes, there are some very tough subjects which he handles beautifully but which need to be taken into consideration when choosing this book....more

I loved Love Comes in Threes, Luc, Leo and Elliott were wonderful characters to get to know and I really loved the connection that the three of them formed.
I don't think I've read about a V relationship before, so that was an interesting concept, and I enjoyed seeing how it worked. I loved the love, respect and trust that each of the men had for each other. When Elliott and Leo realise that they might have a connection that they want to explore, it opens up all of their relationships to something new. I loved how Leo's connection with Elliott allowed him the opportunity to learn about other aspects of himself he hadn't previously explored or experienced, believing that what he got from being a Dom was all he wanted or needed before this. Seeing Leo, a Dom in a wheelchair was another aspect of this novel I enjoyed, it is rare to see people with disabilities portrayed in romance, let alone as a Dom, and Leo made a great Dom to Luc.
The love and support Leo got from Luc and Elliott when he is faced with his cancer returning was a really lovely thing to see, and the catalyst for the changes that happened for them all. What was a terrible thing to deal with resulted in the best thing to happen to them all. This novel had my emotions working overtime and I didn't want to put it down.
A dark, hot, and kinky BDSM read with enough sweetness that for me, it balanced out the dark parts nicely.

I loved both MCs from the get-go and I loved the connection that formed between them from their first meeting and which grew into more than either could have hoped for. Their relationship develops quite quickly, but as they get to know each other and discover what makes each other tick, Rod is able to introduce Caleb to the world of BDSM and help him find safer ways to deal with his need for pain while showing him how it feels to be loved and cared for.
Caleb's past is messed up and once again I found myself wondering about the kind of parents that can hurt their children either physically or mentally when they are supposed to care for and love them. The support Caleb found in Rob was exactly what he needed when it came time to have to deal with his mother and her family. But it's not just Caleb who gets what he needs, Rob needs someone to care for, to hurt and comfort in a safe nurturing way that benefits both parties and he finds that in Caleb.
Caleb is also looking for someone his grandfather was friends with in his younger days in the UK and I enjoyed the small twist that was uncovered in the search for him.
I'm looking forward to reading more by K.C. Carmine.
