In this volume we get to see Sangwoo start to crack when it seems a police officer is on to him. It was really interesting and added a lot of tension as he starts to act a bit erratic. I was both happy at the potential of Yoon Bum being rescued and afraid for the officer's wellbeing ...more

We get flashbacks to their high school years where, while they were not friends, they impacted each other but for one reason or another both kept their feelings internal. Present day, those feelings have not died down, only this time as adults do they let themselves express those desires.
A lot of this is vibes. We're thrown straight into it with no lead up or anything besides Seonho and Myeong getting together. The artwork is character focused, with backgrounds not as detailed. I liked it and it gave the book an ethereal feel.
Without giving spoilers, a ring plays a role but by the end it's never explained. It made me deduct a star from the rating as it left me actually irritated.
The weird thing is, there is an anime of this. I don't know if the manhwa or the anime came first, but the anime explains the ring. And it's such a simple explanation that answers the question.
After I read the book, I watched the anime when I found out it existed. It's short, at ~20 mins, but adds more context and does a better job than the manhwa. Although the manhwa does have some dialogue that I really liked, that's not in the anime (view spoiler)[when Seonho askes Myeong if he likes him. It gives Seonho some more vulnerability and further shows that their love for one another is mutual (hide spoiler)]
I think this story works best when you consume both the manhua and the anime together. So while I rated this just based on the manhua, I would give 4 stars for both the manhua and the anime together....more

Yiyoung is adorable and it's so fun seeing him navigate his crush and office relationship with Kang. Kang is so stoic and hard to read. Yiyoung is the opposite and tends to wear his heart on his sleeve.
Watching Yiyoung get so frazzled by Kang was everything. I just want to grab them both and smush them together and tell them to get over themselves and be together forever!! Is that too mush to ask for? ...more

Yoon Bum is obsessed with Sangwoo. He's seriously fixated on this dude to stalker levels. One day he decides to break into Sangwoo's house and finds out the guy he idolizes is a far cry from his public persona. The reality of Sangwoo and what he does is nightmare inducing.
The scene were Sangwoo finds Bum was amazing. On the edge of my seat with fear.
Yoon Bum brings the stalking and Sangwoo brings the killing. It's a perfect match. ...more
Not gonna lie, I'm kind of obsessed with this manhwa now.

Ahn Yiyoung and his friends' start up has the chance of working with a big company, SJ Corporation. Only his presentation doesn't go according to plan and the director, Kang Daehyung, is less than impressed.
However Yiyoung, determined not to let his friends down, manages to get Director Kang to look at a summary of their presentation. __ On top of having such good chemistry between our romantic leads, On or Off is funny aswell. One moment I'd be blushing over a scene with Yiyoung and Kang, and the next I'd bust out laughing at Yiyoung and his friend's antics.

I enjoyed The Dangerous Convenience Store Vol. 1 but I think if there was more of a slow burn between Eui-joon and Gunwoo I would have loved it. Their first meeting and interactions were great, but I would have liked a build up rather that straight up banging.
I wanted more of a focus on Eui-joon and Gunwoo, and not that douche Eui-Joon was crushing on in the beginning. But we'll get that in future volumes so I can't wait to see their romance develop in the next volume.
