I picked this (audio)book randomly expecting a different twist to the usual romances. I loved the idea of representation of two bi-sexual characters, but I'm not so sure how successfully it was executed in the end.

We had more scenes with the main characters with other people, than with the main characters alone.
The writing was not bad, but the lack of chemistry between the FMC and the MMC made the book boring, and I could barely push through it (which is a shame, cause I was really excited to read another chapter in the Malory-Anderson family story).
Boyd was so shallow that it was pure torture to have him as a hero. His only thoughts were sex and fights, and there was not one romantic thing that he did that made me root for him. And don't even get me started about his problematic behaviour (threatening her with rape and then saying he could do it? WTF?).
Katie was sweet and interesting, and I think it would've been way better for her to explore the world and find someone else, someone who actually considers her as a human and not just a fleshlight.
Overall, I wished it was better, but sadly it wasn't....more
'Cold hearted Casanova' is the perfect ending to this series!
The story is interesting, and once again different from other of L. J.'s books, but just'Cold hearted Casanova' is the perfect ending to this series!
The story is interesting, and once again different from other of L. J.'s books, but just like the others we have an amazing writing style and great humor (the bratty mouths of all of her heroines are something I love!)
I really rooted for Duffy, and while Riggs annoyed me at moments (and I wanted to punch him in the face), they were such a cute couple. The spice, as always, was on a level, and I couldn't have wanted anything else!
Overall, a great beach read for people who love snarky heroines and lots of wit!...more

Here is my opinion about it:
If you look at the dates on which I I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.
Here is my opinion about it:
If you look at the dates on which I started and finished it, you can see it took me a pretty long damn time. And this was because I didn't enjoy it, but I was required to review it.
I'll skip the synopsis and go straight to what I did and didn't like.
The book started promising. I'm not going to lie. I liked the writing, and the hot scenes were definitely top level, so I read a hundred pages in less than a day. And then everything went downhill. The next part (till the penultimate chapter) was boring and uneventful, so respectively followed the fact that the book couldn't grab my attention, and I made myself read it. The last two chapters were on the level of the first few, and this is the reason I give this book 2 stars, instead of one.
The characters were bland and annoying, and I wanted to kill each of them at least a dozen times. Sienna was an act-hard girl, but she was actually a weak-ass barbie, and I only liked a few aspects of her personality. Noah, on the other hand, I hated. He seemed abusive at times and too selfish for my preferences. (I like my heroes broken and dark, but there was something off about him). (view spoiler)[ The fact that we didn't get a whole scene of him tasting her is a sin in the romance genre (hide spoiler)]
The only two characters I enjoyed were Sillas and Spencer, and their relationship reminded me of Crash and Eddie from Ice Age. I saw potential in Oakley to be a prominent character with lots of development, or the perfect villain, but the author just threw him in the bin - like she suddenly decided she should get rid of him. In his place came Andrew, who was also a decent character, and I would've loved to see more of him. But I didn't get what I wanted.
(view spoiler)[ There were two things which made me hate the story, and I almost DNFed it. And they are the miscommunication between Noah and Siena, which drove me insane in the second part of the book; and the miraculous unexpected pregnancy. I hate them in my books, and I think people should put them as trigger warnings. (hide spoiler)]
The end was... Well, for one I am glad it ended, cause the entire book was a disaster, but it also ended badly. Like how are we supposed to accept this is HEA (view spoiler)[ when there are numerous people trying to kill him and his family (hide spoiler)]. And I hated the choice they made.
The truth is, I don't see them as a healthy couple. They were always fighting, abusing each other, had no communication, and just were one toxic pair.
I didn't enjoy this book but don't let my OPINION stop you from reading it. I think there were a lot of things to change and lots of improvement needed. (view spoiler)[ I found the recycled scenes (some appeared two times) lazy, and I wished I wasn't forced to read them twice (hide spoiler)]

OMG. This was perfect, as always! It's the longest book I've read this year, but as soon as I got some free time I DEVOURED IT!
Paker and L. J. Shen diOMG. This was perfect, as always! It's the longest book I've read this year, but as soon as I got some free time I DEVOURED IT!
Paker and L. J. Shen did an absolutely phenomenal job with it! I loved the characters so much, the interactions, the writing (which just sucked you in their world) that I could read it again. Zach and Farrow were so perfect together, and I'm so glad there was no misunderstanding trope, but a rather clear communication!
I did hate Zach's mom for most of the book, and that Zach was so spineless around her, but Oliver calling him out was Chief's kiss. And talking about Oli, I am so FUCKING excited to read his book finally, cause this man is per-fec-tion (HIM AND FRANKIE BETTER END YUP TOGETHER, OR I"LL THROW HANDS)...more
