2.5 stars. The characters are in 8th grade, but never read that way to me. And it felt force when a few mature moments popped up. They almost felt ina2.5 stars. There are enough moments that put it beyond 3-4th grade readers. But anyone older than that will be bored. The story dragged on. It felt like there was a “lesson” that was going to be taught no matter how long it took. Not a fan of this one which is disappointing because theater-themed books are usually a big hit....more

It felt like one was resolved too quickly and not realistically and the other never resolved.
