Character's stop literally mid battle to give profound quotes to each other.
It contradicts itself, both plot wise and world building wise, it's infuriating. I literally rolled my eyes so hard one time I gave myself a headache, another time I slapped my forehead so hard I hurt both my hand and my head, just because of all the whiplash contradictions.

For some odd reason it takes me a while to pick up the next volume in this series after I finish one. When I see it sitting there I’m really really not motivated to pick it up and I think it will be boring but literally every single time I give every volume 5 stars. It’s just going from one to the next that takes a while. Maybe it’s because I don’t really like Western type things and this is exactly that? So when I look at it I’m demotivated? Idk haha....more

I thought I would give it like 3 stars, it's not generally the type of thing I would pick up. Happy to say I will definitely be continuing on with the series as soon as I can get my hands on them from the library....more
