It isn't this good as it was for me the first time I read it, so I'm dropping the rating to 2.5 stars, rounding it up to 3.
It dragged too much, having details and long moments that weren't that interesting and didn't helped the story to progress. Also, the Umbridge moments are so painful that I feel like going there and kill her.
And the death of my favourite character in the entire series didn't helped at all!
But besides this, there were great, intense moments throughout the book.
Looking forward to re-reading the sixth installment, as from there things are getting crazier, as I remember....more
The third novel in the Harry Potter series and my favourite out of all books in this series!

Why is that? Because of all the new elements and characters that appear in this one.
- Hogsmeade! And Harry sneaking there with the help of the Invisibility Cloak although he isn't allowed going. - The Marauder's Map! (I have a mug that changes when you pour hot liquid in it that represents the map) I know there is a plot hole on this subject, but maybe Rowling hadn't the idea of it before. So she added it in this one. But still, the idea is awesome. Not to mention the chills than ran down my spine in the moment Harry sees Peter P. on the map in that night. - The Time Traveler. The last pages where Harry and Hermione (view spoiler)[went back in time to save everyone was in danger! (hide spoiler)]. - Buckbeak. My favourite animal in the HP series. Also the scene where Harry rides him! I can't imagine how infinite Harry must have felt in that moment. - Remus Lupin and his story! Aaaand, the Defence Againts the Dark Arts class which is a real fun! - Sirius Black! My favourite character in the entire series. Him and Luna, but he has something special about him and I would love him to be my relative too. - The creepy Dementors and their kiss. - The Divination class and how awesome is the scene with the Grim (I have a mug with the Grim too)
There were amazing moments in this book from beginning to the end. I loved this since I first saw the movie. I can't wait to reread this again!...more

I had an attempt to reread the series in 2014 but I've only read the first two and a little from the third one. But this time I'm rereading everything so I can continue with "Fantastic Beasts"!
Chamber of Secrets is my least favourite out of all seven novels, but something has changed for me. The third time I'm reading this one I discovered how Rowling has written it. The answer is under your nose the whole time and if it is the first time you are reading/watching this book/movie, and you don't know what is about, you can be fooled so easily! Rowling is the master of writing, really!
This one is even more darkish and creepy, with chills on your spine and everything. I always hated the part where Ron and Harry are going into the Forest to find Aragog. It is so cringe-y! Not to mention the ending presented in the movie. And I mean that part where Harry goes into the Chamber.
Even if this book is more of a 3 star rating, this time was even more geniously written for me and I gave it another star. So 4 stars for Chamber of Secrets, the second book in the Harry Potter series....more

It was the first Agatha Christie book that I ever finished and I loved it! I also love Hercule Poirot! He's such a great character with a wonderful personality.
At first this book was hard to read because every chapter had the perspective of a different character and it was hard to remember each and every one of them. But as the book progressed, the characters started blending together in a smooth way and since then I started really enjoying the story.
I couldn't guessed the criminal at all! Ruth Kettering died in a train. Murdered, obviously. Almost everyone thinks it was her husband, Derek Kettering, that could have a lot of money after her death. But others think that her lover killed her.
So the guilt alternates between these two, and other secrets start to pop up.
And the ending was amazing! That twist! I didn't expected that and it made me love the book even more.
I can't believe that it's not that hyped, because it deserves all the love. Please go and read this book! You won't regret it!...more
