He was sweet and nice and you're being an asshole, Georgia. -Not bring so much shit with her to the States. You don't need it. -Stop being so embarrassing. But damn, was it ever loooong. I sped-read my way through it and it still took hours. I barely have any idea what the plot was. It didn't capture my interest and it was racking up fines at the library so it had to be finished asap, which might be why I didn't really like it all that much. Maybe one day I'll reread it and take my time but today is definitely not that day.
That being said, the movie was really good. Not sure why it was so good and the actual book was so boring, but so be it....more

She starts out by setting an old woman on fire in a church, which kind of sets the tone for how unbelievably stupid she is throughout the entire book. I feel like this is a series you absolutely have to binge read because otherwise you get sick and tired of Georgia's ideas. I mean, Robbie goes off to New Zealand and she's all sad but then she totally forgets about him because Masimo, who can barely speak English and isn't even interested in her, shows up. No loyalty at all. It will be funny to read about her realizing the States aren't as small as European countries and her plans will be totally screwed....more

It's too bad Robbie's leaving for New Zealand but that means that Dave the Laugh will get his chance to shine! And everything will be fantastic, except P Green will still be nauseating. At least the Bummer twins are in deep shit for stealing.

This isn't as funny or as much fun as the previous two books. Maybe I've overdosed on Georgia? Maybe three in one day was too much (or two much, hahaha). Sven was still funny and the girls were still ridiculous but the humour just wasn't as there, you know? (view spoiler)[And to be honest, I'd really rather see her break up with Robbie and get back with Dave the Laugh. He's so cute and funny and I'd kill to have a guy like that give me the time of day, or night, or even the afternoon. Don't throw it away just because Robbie makes your boobs excited or whatever. The settings were well described, even though there wasn't that much description, if you know what I mean? I don't mind Hopkins supposed-to-be-poetic writing, even though it's kind of ridiculous and over-the-top dramatic. The format makes it really easy to speed through and that's kind of what i wanted.
Jackie was a sweetheart and the ambiguous ending left it open to the imagination or to reading the sequel, which I probably won't since I have other stuff to read that I'm more excited for than the prospect of having to sit through 500 pages of this again.
It would have been 4 stars if it wasn't for (view spoiler)[the whole thing with Trevor and the cops, which was so fast and emotionless, even though Ethan died and we were supposed to be devastated (hide spoiler)], which wasn't great writing on Hopkin's part.
