On one hand, it was cute how they got so emotional over each other's existence and all that but, it was very instalove-y and overly dramatic. They kept everything legal with regards to the age gap and while college and high school students have different maturity levels, Chris seemed like he'd been forced to grow up faster and so it definitely wasn't as creepy as it could have been if he was in grade 10 or 11.
