I'm a wreck now it seems like there is gonna be a third Six of Crows book in the making from the ending. ---------------------------- I will just talk about things I don't like first. - So The Darkling has come back but his storyline seems unnecessary. I read his pov in the second part of the book and it did nothing for me. He didn't do anything other than pray, literally. I still hate that the Darkling being brought back for no reason, he didn't serve any purpose other than that he was just there to fix the Fold, which he was the one created. - David is fucking dead but his death doesn't make any progress for anything, it just makes us hate the author for a moment and feels rage for Genya because she deserves better. I hate that she was the one who suffered. And it was on their wedding day !! Unbelieveable. - I was hoping for Nina to use her awesome power at the end when Zoya saved her. Things I like: - Zoya my queen. I love that she is the dragon queen now. Ravka needs a strong queen like that. And this book is more about Zoya's journey than Nikolai and I'm okay with it. - Nina and Hanne relationship. I feel bad because I kinda prefer them to the old ship. - Nina got away with things because of lessons from Kaz. - Hanne mastering the art of tailoring. - Nikolai and Zoya relationship. It was not tropey at all.

Sometimes you need to fight to be heard
Actual rating: 4,25 stars This book is powerful, I mean people fighting against straight-washed and the power of fandom and media have showed you that this world can be saved because people still care even it's just a little thing. Little things can add up and turn into a statement. That's what this book does, it shows at a side of our daily lives, entertainment or what is going on around it. The entertainment industry can mirror our lives. With the straight - washed and white- washed still happening it show at the racism or homophobia is the thing that still needs to be solved. Bex and Shrupty are so adorable and we get to see Alyssa from Queen of Geek which is amazing. I need more f/f books please thank you very much. ...more

I read this and I thought, wow Evelyn Hugo must be a real person, she must be because the author has done a tremendously great with building Evelyn's character and after reading the book I just want it to become a movie. With 2 narrators and 2 different timelines we get to uncover the truth of the infamous actress Evelyn Hugo with her career how she achieved it and the relationships she had with in the past.
The way I see it, Evelyn is an immoral person, she will do anything to get what she want even if it was a thing she will regret in the future. But I really like her, she is an interesting person. For a Cuban-American that has nothing she has learned to use her body to get what she wanted, I kinda admire for the fact that she knows her strenght, her power and she knew the value of her body.
This story isn't just about her career and her husbands but it also about the love of her life. The life of a bisexual is difficult for her because at that time people only knew about gay and straight that means you are either gay or straight there isn't an in between. That is why her life was a struggle, I mean even her love one couldn't understand that for her, couldn't understand and accept her other half and it broke my heart. I think it has portrayed bisexual very accurate and beautiful. Not just sexual orientation but it made people see the darkside of Hollywood and the price of being famous. Men control everything and Evelyn has been a victim, a target of public to be trampled. Like in a divorce the presses tend to target the woman as a person to blame and man usually the one blameless, I still don't know what give men power to manipulate people ignore their mistake.
I love that at the first part we get to see the present audiences, what they thing about Evelyn and what her had done like charity in the past to present and during the book we get to see everything reveal from the reason why she choose that or her motive with supporting the LGBT+ community or donating the lung diseases study,.. I like that by revealing Evelyn's past to our other main character Monique, we got to learn more about her decisions in life. And most of all I love about the love story between Evelyn and Cecily and the friendship between Evelyn and Harry. Her love story was beautiful but also a tragic one but in the end they still found each other and forgave each other which made me sad and happy at the same time. Her friendship with Harry and Evelyn was something I would want to have ,it was beautiful and it was pure.

*Listening to Sunflower after watching Sierra Burgess because Sadie is a sunflower* This book will haunt me for at least a week because it's that good*Listening to Sunflower after watching Sierra Burgess because Sadie is a sunflower* This book will haunt me for at least a week because it's that good !! ----------------------------------------------------
A body might not always be beautiful, but a body can be a beautiful deception. I’m stronger than I look.
This is what Sadie told her self while she’s on a journey to find the killer that has murder her beloved sister. She kept telling herself that she’s strong but I just want her in some moment in her life can be allowed to be weak. She just kept me on my seat because the more Sadie tried continuing on the quest the more reckless she became. Through out the book, I can see how Sadie love her sister, in a way I think she even worships her sister and how she is desperated in wanting to make her sister murderer to pay.
Sadie has been lived a tough life, her mother isn’t around to care for her and the only thing that matter to her was her sister, she would do anything to make her happy, she even drop out of high school to work at a gas station for money to help her sister when she went to college. But when her mother – Claire left, Sadie had to force herself to fill the gap, but she also knew that she isn’t good enough for her sister, she can never play two roles or replace her mother although she has done it anyway even when she didn’t know it. Although Sadie hated her mother, she didn’t want to make Claire a bad person in front of Mattie. That was what she did she try to make Mattie feel as much loved as she can, it’s exhausted for a teenage girl but it make Sadie such a great character. When she said her heart was so tired it broke my heart, deep down I selfishly want her to just give up and live her life, I just want her to care for herself for once, for just this one time at least and yes in Montgomery she has fantasized about another life especially when she fantasized that she could have a love story with Javi but she easily ignore that need . Even she’s tired, she never gives up, never gives in until justice is made and I admire her for it. When she stoped at Montgomery, and you compare the other teenage that she has met you can see how privileged the other kids look. And after discovering the truth when West McCray kept looking at his daughter, couldn’t stop worrying for her and thinking about how tragic Sadie’s life was, I can’t stop but comparing that to the scene from I Stop Somewhere when the cop the one who not only discovered the body but also had a daughter, she also saw her daughter and afairded that she couldn’t protect her from the fate like that dead girl. I can also see The Female of the Species vibes in this book although Sadie has it own unique way in bringing the story to the audience that I really appreciate.
You probably know me as a girl who hates cliffhanger so when I read the book and didn’t know about what happen to her it was really frustrating. I can only hope that she would be okay somehow but it’s unlikely because girls from this type of book always end up dead....more

We can see the way SJM portrays the love of friendship, it's as strong as romantic love. The bond between Bryce and Danika survived even after death and I love it. ---------------------- Did I enjoy it? Yeah I did Did I want to read the sequel? Yeahh just gimme the sequel already !! But was there anything that you didn't like about the book? Yeah, unfortunately. I had some issues with the book, especially with the amount of cursing that occurred in it. And It made me wonder: What makes a book an adult book, what makes this an adult book and not Throne of Glass or A Court of Thorns and Roses. Is it because of the swearing? No, I don't think so. I don't think we have to add a huge amount of cursed words to make it an adult novel. ----------------------------------------------------
That's the point of it Bryce. Of life. To live, to love, knowing that it might all vanish tomorrow. It makes everything that much more precious.
Actual rating: 4,25 stars What I like most about this book is that its focuses on friendship especially the friendship that is unrequited and unconditionally between Bryce and Danika. --------------------------------------------

Actual rating: 3,5 stars In this book: Once again it showed us that most of our main characters parents (Mostly the dads) and your relatives suck. And they killed giants (again) you know the usual. Oh at least we have a dragon this time. And I don't know if the sea horse has anything to do with the sea horse in Percy Jackson. It would be cool if the insult contest were a rap battle though. (view spoiler)[ I don't know if it's because Odin hate Magnus Chase that he didn't bother to give Magnus some of the mead even though he still have some of it. Like is the Gods like playing with them. Ugh gods and their ignorance I just couldn't stand them (hide spoiler)] [image] I just sum up my favorite characters of this book. Things I like about this book: - Alex Fierro's awesomeness and her talent in art. The fact that Alex reminded me of Rachel about loving art. - Percabeth moments !! - The relationship between Hearthstone and Blitzen - Malory didn't give a damn about her godly mother - Sam is the motivation for the whole team about enduring and patience - Fierrochase moments - And Alex Fierro

There were many perspectives mostly from Percy, Annabeth, Leo and Piper. I got to admit through out this book our group kept doubting themselves, like how useless they were to save their friends or they were not as powerful as they thought. But they eventually overcame that which is really good. One of the highlight of this book in my opinion. And it's so good that they didn't just rely on their strengths but their wit, now that was what make them good. Annabeth was brilliant in this book...well not the end of the book which was ridiculous for Annabeth not think about it. Ugh the ending !!!
