The show, which I watched previously, hewed relatively close to the book, but the book is better. The characters are more compelling, especially Miller, with the possible exception of Amos, who is very good in the show. The book has a little less drama, and a little more thoughtfulness. The conflicting attitudes of Holden and Miller on dissemination of information are really interesting to think about. --- Reading for a local SF book club. I enjoyed the first couple of the seasons of the show (haven't caught up with the latest). Looking forward to the book version....more
