This is my first Kris Calvert read and I will definitely be reading more from her in the future. Especially carrying on this series her writing style in this book kept me turning page after page dying to know what was going to happen next. Jane Doe was a very intriguing read!!

Jane was a kickass character she was strong, independent, intelligent and focused. She had made the best out of her life after having such a terrible start. Growing up in numerous foster homes Jane didn't really connect with many people but the ones she did she held them dear to her heart and would protect them fiercely!! After graduating Jane join's the Marine Corps and quickly becomes a sort after asset. Now working for a secret government agency she's taking down one byone the highest known terrorist's!!
"Crow. She didn't know the identity of her contact, whether it was a man or a woman. She didn't care. Crow watched from above. Crow gave the orders. She followed them."

Jane has a code/set of rules that she follows but her rules must change when her path crosses an intriguing man. Matt is a war journalist he's following leads and trying to uncover threats. But in doing so he's made himself a target!! Jane must "Adapt. Improvise. Overcome." to complete the mission she was given.
I really can't wait to carry on this series of Jane Doe books. Kris Calvert has given us an intriguing, captivating read that i couldn't put down.

Don't get me wrong it's not because each part wasn't as good as the other. I was just greedy and didn't want to wait for the next part so read all together. With that said i'm not going to give all the juice details of each book incase you're reading this on each part before buying!!
Ex-Con is told in a dual point of view of Shane and Charlie. Shane has been serving fours years in prison for killing a man (now four years doesn't seem long for murder but there is a reason). While in prison he is protected by a gang/crew he's tried to stay away from, but inside its survival that has him excepting help from the Harrison Street Crew. When he's on the out side he just wants to keep his head down and move forward with his life. But is life ever that simple!!
Charlie is a female mechanic trying to run her own business. She wants to be taken seriously within the car world. Its all she's ever loved since her grandfather introduced her into that world. She knows she more than good but like most men would they dismiss her because she's female. Not only is she a great mechanic but she a racer and feels this is the way she can earn the respect of drivers and get them into her garage.
Shane and Charlie's paths cross a few times and the chemistry is instant. I loved that Charlie is a kick ass girl strong and knows what she wants and fights for it. Shane has been dealt a shit hand but never let it drag him under. Both are trying to survive in the life they are living. Can they help each other find their way to a HEA well you need to get on these books and read to find out........
I would recommend reading all three parts together i just think it made for better reading. Katana Collins has intrigued me with her story and i'm looking forward to reading Outlaw the next in the series of the Harrison Street Crew.
