I didn't realize it was mostly high school/college age. Solo POV from the heroine. Triangle in the sense that she gets together with the other man when she and the other, other man break up and wash, rinse, repeat. It felt to me that she switches from one man to the other and back again over the years but one of the other men in particular seemed to consistently have other woman every time she caught up with him. I did feel she got together so quickly with this one that what did she really expect?
She is intimate with both men when she is in a relationship with that person. No ménage. At one point she is in a relationship with Ash and spends the night with Cole. When she is officially single she has a few hook-ups. It does switch back and forth in the timeline from chapter to chapter, where she is with one man in one chapter then the other in the next then wash, rinse, repeat. The chapters are labelled by years but I thought it was confusing.
The ending... She chooses one but as the issue was sustainability of any of the relationships with either men so I felt the reader needed to see their HEA play out. But I'm not sure if the secondary characters will have stories and maybe we will see their HEA through their books.... Maybe....

The heroine is traveling, stopping off at different places for a while and she meets two brothers, she likes one more than the other but the Hero's brother asks her out for a meal and they end up dating. It's only seen as a temp thing as the heroine has plans to move on and their relationship seems to based mostly on sex, the Hero knows more about her and her family etc than the brother. The Hero and heroine are attracted to each other but can't really see a way to be together even if she breaks up with the brother. By the way, the brother cheats on her but she doesn't know.
Neither are celibate during separation. The heroine says she was seeing someone but it didn't work out. The Hero says "I’ve had a few flings and one-night stands since I was with her, but they’re not worth mentioning, or even remembering.". There are no details of their other relationships. No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine but the heroine does mention some bits and pieces that relate to the fact she and the Hero's brother are having sex when they were all friends.
The book is in three parts. In part 2 they reconnect decide on a future together but his step dad stops it, except the Hero doesn't know.
In part 3 they reconnect again only his brother thinks he's in love with her and she's sort of dating the brother but no sex.
Part 3 pushed it over the edge for me, to go from one brother to the other is a difficult step for me but then to go back to the original brother... I just can't.... I'm not sure in which world the heroine thought it was a good idea.
"I wanted to see you.” “Oh you did? So, you thought dating my brother would be the way to go about that. Again.” “It’s not serious. I haven’t even slept with him.” “You’re planning on it.” I give Luciano a look. “He’s supposed to get me closer to you. I just thought a few dates would be…easy. I need a friend, okay?”"
Admittedly she didn't realize the Hero was in love with her but it's pretty heartless to turn up again as his brother's girl.

**spoiler alert** My review is a bit mixed. There are some things I really didn't like and things I really liked in this story.
First of all of you are **spoiler alert** My review is a bit mixed. There are some things I really didn't like and things I really liked in this story.
First of all of you are sensitive to the Hero or heroine being with others after meeting their intended then you will have issues with this book.
It starts with a scene of the Queen, in an intimate scene with her lover.
She is married but as the blurb reveals her husband betrayed her in some way and she has exiled him, wiping his memory.
Flashback scenes.
The King during his courtship played games with the heroine involving other women and that continues at times in the story.
There is another main male lead, as there is a sort of love triangle, but he doesn't sleep around, though his circumstances are not easy either.
The book is fantasy, it contains magic and mythical creatures. Although I personally get bored with too much description I feel the author needed more world building.
There are plenty of characters and potential for more books in the series.
I was a bit confused at times.
Creatures are mentioned but not really explained what they are. There was the term half blood mentioned but no explanation as to what the mix was exactly. Mid chapter, we changed scenes so the character was with someone else but that wasn't explained or led in to on occasion.
The plot ended up being quite good, lots of angst, if you don't mind a bit of bed hopping. There were some intimate scenes other than who the heroine ends up with. Technically cheating as although he is exiled the heroine is still married.
The heroine is quite dislikeable at times but I liked that, there were reasons why she was so cold and I felt it worked.
Possible triggers, gang rape. No details but after effects on a secondary character. There is a party which is basically an orgy but small detail.
Multiple POV though primarily from the heroines POV.
HEA in the sense that not all the issues with enemies are resolved but they find happiness in their situation. I expect some issues will continue in the next books but I expect the main couple in this book will continue their happiness as side characters of another couples story.
I would read more of the series about other couples....more
**spoiler alert** Not for me. This could have been about a really strong heroine on revenge, taking the higher ground. But the heroine ends up a mess.

But it ends a bit abruptly, no epilogue. Triangle. Heroine lies to new love interest that she slept with her ex. Other man's ex girlfriend is pregnant with his baby. The other man has been in love with heroine forever but has dated half the state. It just felt so messy. ...more
**spoiler alert** I like this story but there were a few things I had an issue with.
Francesca Rossi is looking forward to her future with Angelo Bandi**spoiler alert** I like this story but there were a few things I had an issue with.
Francesca Rossi is looking forward to her future with Angelo Bandini, they have known each other since they were children and they are attending an event where she hopes their romance will begin. They have been good friends but have never been allowed to take things further than him giving her a kiss on the nose as her family have gone to great lengths to make sure she is pure on her wedding night.
Enter Wolfe Keaton. He is bitter and jaded and wants revenge on Frankie's father.
It's well written. It's quite angst. The premise is a love triangle.
She is hoping to pursue a future with Angelo but ends up betrothed to Wolfe. All through their interactions Angelo is an issue as both Hero and heroine think she is in love with Angelo. I wondered about Angelo, he is lovely to her but the purity rules don't apply to him so I wondered if he was as white as she sees him. Wolfe is cruel to the heroine as he is so bitter on his revenge campaign. He views her as a spoilt daughter of an enemy, not knowing her at all. There is a particularly nasty scene where he refuses to believe she is a virgin, thinking she just slept with Angelo. He is later remorseful but it's pretty cruel. Dual POV.
The cheating accusation. Spoilers below.
The Hero, Wolfe, is on a date when he meets the heroine, he kisses Frankie, to make mischief then is intimate with his original date in the car on the way home.
After he blackmails the heroine into the bethrothal and has her at his house for a short while, they attend an event together. The heroine has not seen Angelo since he saw her kissing Wolfe, she has no phone so she is unable to explain the situation to Angelo. Angelo to save face has brought a date to the same event, she is a childhood nemesis of the heroine. The heroine is knocked off balance seeing Angelo again esp with his date. They later are discovered in what appears to be an intimate embrace by Wolfe, who is furious, he tells them to kiss goodbye. When the heroine re-enters the main room of the event, Wolfe and Angelo's date are both looking disshevled, it is referred to later they had sex.
Much later on after Wolfe and the heroine have made some sort of peace and have been intimate, the heroine kisses Angelo. Wolfe sees photos of it and publicly humiliated the heroine by taking another woman to an event, which is reported in the press, then stays out over night. Wolfe doesn't cheat but he does intend to, though he can't go through with it. Frankie did kiss Angelo so depending on your view she cheats. She views it as cheating.
The reasons Frankie kisses Angelo are that although she feels she is now in love with Wolfe, his ex has told her his history, which he himself has refused to share with her, shutting her out which hurts her deeply, the ex explains his full motives for revenge and the details again hurt the heroine deeply. She is also pregnant so it is said she is hurt and her hormones are all over the place plus she has this silly tradition with a wooden box and predictions and events seem to point to Angelo being her true Hero, in this moment Angelo kisses her and she kisses him back.
The Hero does grovel at the end, ensuring that she is with him by choice by force.
There were a couple of irritating things, the heroine is 19, Wolfe is 30 and she is constantly referred to as a 'teenager'. Secondly the heroine constantly smokes, she says it's a vice her mother encouraged as it discouraged over eating but it is referred to a lot and is unattractive.
There is a lot of ex drama but no details of intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and the heroine despite the incidents above.

A good story. Bit predictable, if you pick up on the clues there are no real surprises. Dylan and Slater both grew up with Gabby along with other friends in the gang but they were both in love with her. Gabby only ever had eyes for Dylan and he got the girl. They are blissfully happy and plan to be together forever.
Things start to be not so good, Dylan is moody, stressed and there are little clues he could be cheating, or at least flirting with other women but Gabby struggles to accept that as he's not the cheating type and is so devoted to her. He also suffers from debilitating migraines. I thought it was obvious this point he has some sort of brain issue/illness. She finds out he has been messing about with other women then witnesses it herself. He is extremely hurtful and humiliated her several times. They eventually break up after giving each other space but finding him still cheating.
She and Slater get together then after some time she finds out she's pregnant, but they are shocked to discover she's too far for the baby to be Slaters, it's Dylan's. I had guessed this as there are clues as she's had issues with her periods which is mentioned around the time of the breakup.
I didn't understand Slater calling it off so she can go back to the baby's father, if he needed a bit of space to get his head together yes, but why he'd think it was a good idea for her to try to get back with Dylan after the way he's treated her is beyond me. He does rethink his actions later but....
Dylan reveals he has an inoperable brain tumour and is dying and it affected his behaviour, hence the cheating. He's always loved her and wanted a future with her. I admired that although she loved Dylan and said she forgave his previous actions she never slept with him again, partly because she loves Slater but also because of the betrayal. She and Slater eventually get their HEA but only after she grieves properly, around 2 years. Ex drama. HEA. Epilogue. No cheating for the heroine though sort of love triangle. There are intimate scenes between Gabby and Dylan when they are together then later Gabby and Slater when they get together so if you are not keen on intimate scenes with anyone other than the one main couple that might be an issue.
Also the initial Hero, Dylan cheats, though no sex detailed we are told he was having sex with at least one other woman, it's only refered to, he is kissing, grinding etc another woman at a club, even if it is due the brain problem if you can't tolerate cheating it might be an issue for you.
It is an angsty emotional read, the author pulls at the heart strings but I did find it a bit predictable, no real surprises.
There were side characters, some future storylines hinted at and some that I think have already been written and I may well check those out.
This was I've barely started but can't read anymore for me. I don't mind cheating books if it's in the past, massive grovelling and huge redemption.
