It's Loki and I love Loki (at least Loki from the Thor movies aka Tom Hiddleston).
But Loki in the comics does not resemble Tom Hiddleston one bit. Loki in the comics is wrinkly with saliva coming out from his mouth all the time. I really wanted a graphic version of Tom Hiddleston. I did not get that.
I continued on, since I am fairly curious to know what will happen to Loki. At this point, I have completely ignored the graphics and just read the bubbles. It was nice information to have, to know what will happen to Loki, but I did not enjoy this graphic novel.
The artwork, would have probably been really good if I was a boy, but I am sorry, I have ovaries and all....more

So how is Andrew a sidekick material? He has super senses. But smelling what the villain had for breakfast wouldn't really save the world. So Andrew is basically paired with a superhero that doesn't really need a sidekick. He is paired with Titan, one of the greatest supers ever, but is out of the grid. The Titan has stopped saving the world and is drinking himself away into oblivion.
There aren't any big crimes happening, but Dealer and the Jacks are back. Titan had once defeated them with the league but they are back and on the prowl. They are taking the supers down one by one, using their sidekicks as bait. All the sidekick's identities have been compromised. There are only two supers left, the Fox and the Titan, but Titan still refuses to save the day.
Things get complicated and people are not what they seem. There's no one left but the sidekicks to save the day.
But it doesn't take much to be a real hero. Sometimes all you need is bravery and a leap of faith.
Sidekicked is off to a slow start, but picks up after fifty percent of the book. It actually reminds me of the movie SKY HIGH, which I absolutely loved. The book needs more proofreading, but the idea is remarkably good. If made into a movie, this would definitely be a blockbuster....more
