Nu m-a deranjat incestul discutat în carte, dar m-a deranjat modul cum se face aluzie la homosexualitate. Știu totuși că nu mă pot aștepta la o exprimare mai contemporană de la un autor de vârsta mamei. Un alt detaliu deranjant e cel din prima poveste la adresa romilor. Chiar nu îl consider necesar. Pesemne că autoarea, fost prezentator BBC, s-a săturat să explice străinilor diversitatea etnică a României și a simțit nevoia să lămurescă situația.
