A different kind of heroine and so refreshing.
You couldn't help but pull for Janie and Quinn. I loved that he 'got' her and appreciated her quirkiness... and Janie has a whole lot of quirky.
I enjoyed the hell out of this book and I look forward to reading more of Penny Reid's work....more

This is an enemies to lovers story that felt real. Lily and Adam’s banter was hysterical at times, yet so sweet & warm other times. I loved this couple: their tug of war while they fought their obvious attraction (and when they gave in), their little jabs, their “terms of endearments”, and their heat (and there was a lot of heat) … all of it… So much fun and spicy chemistry.
But for all the laughs, this truly was a love story. There was one scene in particular that made me swoon; the kind of swooning where you sigh and read it over immediately because you loved it so much. It was perfect.
So many times I laughed out loud: the witty/sexy dialogue between Adam & Lily, their quick-witted friends, and Adam’s hysterical family— made for a lively and entertaining read. I had a smile on my face from the first to the last page.
This story had everything: love that makes your heart flutter, longing you truly felt, cocky possessiveness, twists & mystery, and loads of laughs.
