Being fair, I did warn him that I filter EVERYthing zombie through my Tufo filter (Mark Tufo, for those of you unacquainted with him..he’s awesome) so…that being said I did enjoy Armand’s book. After running through my Tufo filter, the book kind of came out shredded on the other end. I then decided to see it a la Shaun of the Dead style and after that I enjoyed it immensely. I mean absolutely no disrespect Armand but women will NOT be searching for make-up during the zombie apocalypse, nor will they be staring at guys junk thinking about sex all the time. OH and if some dude hands me lip gloss and there are zombies shambling about I’m going to shove that lip gloss up his @ss and then shoot him. I’m just sayin… I’m sure Armand didn’t intend for his book to be read with an air of comedy but maybe he did. Armand himself is pretty damn funny so hopefully he will understand and forgive me.
Armand, you DO still have better facial hair.... ha ha!

Tim2 has more story, not just stomach turning horrific acts. Don't get me wrong, Tufo didn't let up on the details and there are plenty of gag inducing moments in Tim2 but there is more to it than that. Tim is an even worse human being than I though he was in Timothy and I dislike him more after Tim2. I can't wait to see what fresh hells await him in Tim3. : ) I'll never be able to eat barbecue sauce again....thanks a lot! Mark Tufo...more

It was like watching a slow motion gory train wreck in full HD on the mega screen in Cowboy stadium...disgusting in all of it's demented glory and just too epic to pry yourself away.
Mark Tufo is amazing, what goes on in that man's head would keep a team of therapists in business for years! He's created a character that is repulsive and evil through and through, yet you want to read the damn book anyway.
The detail is graphic! It's not for the squeamish folks or those who are easily offended so reader be warned. ...more

This was a really Ok so let's start off by saying that Mark Tufo ruined me for zombies....thats why this one got 4 out of 5 and not 5 out of 5 stars. This was a really good book regardless of the fact that another goodreads reviewer gave away the bad guy in her very short review without marking it as a spoiler alert. Nevertheless, enjoyed this book and have read two other Joe Ledger books since I read this one....more

I'm sure I'll get drawn and quartered by some but I think that this book was the perfect ending to the series. Except the fact that Deneaux needed to get killed in some horrid manner BUT that didn't happen so....anyway. I say that now BUT I have a feeling that I'm going to read anything Mark Tufo writes from now on. He managed to create a zombie story that anyone would love. You don't have to be a hard core zombie apocalypse type (you know what I'm talking about) to read these and have the jump straight to the top of your favorites list. : ) bad ass...i'm just sayin'....more

I could keep going on and on. I laughed out loud, like the kind of laugh out loud that usually involves tears and a bit of snot, while reading zombie fallout. I know that sounds inappropriate but i couldn't help it. While the events are tragic the dialogue is absolutely hilarious. I loved this book.
*This was my original review of ZF1 that I wrote directly after reading it. As I've said before I'm not a fan of the longwinded book review, I give my opinion....if you want a summary of the books plot check out the publisher's summary, you'll not find that mess here. lol ...more
