Fragile Sanctuary was the perfect introduction to this whole new series from Catherine Cowles! I immediately fell in love with this found family. I’m so intrigued by all the foster siblings and I cannot wait for each of their books! + their mother and grandma were both such gems!
I loved the heroine. She was such a beautiful soul who had been through such a tragedy. But she was literal sunshine.
We knew the hero from Catherine’s previous series but boy that man was so much deeper than what we had seen then. My heart hurt for him and what he also went through but gosh was it fun to watch him fall in love. I loved every minute of it. He was so sweet and possessive. I loved the nickname he gave our girl! Loved how he was with her dog.
These two were literal perfection together. Watching them together, grow closer had me absolutely giddy! Catherine knows how to hit the spot! Every. Single. Time.
Also, can we talk about this plottwist? Did mot see that coming at all. Like AT ALL. I usually get a theory or part of it right but this one really threw me. I love when that happens.

I loved this one sooo much. Ugh, these two had me all in my feels. It was angsty af. I loved it.
It had so many emotional moments. I loved the way Evan fought for his girl, and really changed his life around in order to have her in his life. It was honestly so special. I loved him in his twin’s book but he really stole my heart in his.
I loved seeing Gen turn her life around, too. It was so emotional to read about how she saw herself and her past. I’m glad that she finally saw that she could change even if Evan remained in her life. These two were special....more

This book was beyond incredible! I loved Russ so so much. He was such a good guy! Just lovely.
Aurora was so broken. She made things quite emotional sometimes. But watching her find herself and making decisions for herself was so great to see.
I loved watching these two fall in love. Forming a strong friendship and connection and then taking that last step. Their journey was honestly beautiful.
I just loved the whole vibe and aesthetic of the book. It was funny getting to know all the other characters as well. It was just such a fun and lovely read. ...more

Truth or Dare was emotional too in so many ways! The angst, the longing and the hurt between Becca and Evan, damn. Eli was the best. His love, his innocence and faith in his brother are what helped him get their Becca back. I loved watching them finally be out in the open, no holds barred. Even though both of them still kept secrets from each other until the very end and that also made things super heart-aching for me.
Kendall was the worst in this book. I hated her with a passion, but finally learning what was behind her hate made me feel a little compassion (just barely lol) and yet hate her even more. But I did really enjoy how it all came to a head. It was surprising and yet made a lot of sense!
Overall, the duet was pretty amazing! I loved these two a lot. And their friend group, too. I loved Scarlett and my heart broke for her. I would love to see her get her own book and find happiness.

This book was beautiful. I don’t want to say that Brittainy is back to her roots because she never lost them but this book did feel more like her earlier works. It was heartbreaking in the most beautiful, breathtaking way.
These two characters were so broken. But while one embodied grumpiness, the other embodied sunshine. And the way these two fit together and helped heal each other was beautiful. It was such an emotional yet endearing and romantic journey.
These two were soulmates, meant to find each other at the time they needed it most. They fit beautifully and the way Starlet was there for Milo in any way he needed was so selfless and amazing. She really saved him.
I loved this story. The plot. The adventures. The emotions. The whole story was just stunning.

And don't even get me started on what it meant for Ravi and Pip omg, I was dying. And then to end the book like that? Nooooo. I wanted a better, sweeter ending for my babiesss. They deserved better. Home is a beautiful, emotional love story.
Decker and Kamryn were so cute. I loved them from the get-go. I love how Decker was with her. I loved watching them fall in love, & Kamryn get her life back.
I loved her journey. She had been through so much and she deserved to finally have some light in her life. And that’s what Decker was for her.
These two were so perfect together. It really felt like they were fated but, turns out, fate was a bitch. And she broke both characters. And me, if I’m being honest. I cried a lot for a while there, even though I saw that plotwist coming since the very first clue. It still hit, especially when it all came to a blow. My heart hurt so much for both characters. They were both so heartbroken, so sad. It honestly hurt to read.
But this book showed us how you can make an awful mistake and still turn your life around, become a better person. And how you can choose to forgive someone. It was a beautiful, heart-wrenching journey but these two made it worth it. And they deserved a happy ending.

These two completely stole my heart. They were both such amazing, special characters. I love them so much. And them together were so sweet, I was super infatuated with them and how their relationship developed.
Aaron was incredibly sweet. The way he fell in love with Wren and the little things he did for her and the big gestures, too. Swoon!! Aaron’s family were so incredible and it hurt to see them struggle after what happened with his father. I’m so glad they got a win and things got better.
And Wren omg, my heart hurt so so much for her for all she was going through with her mom and her future. I’m so glad she found Aaron and he showed that things could be different, that she could live happily, let people in, find love.
Gosh, these two >>>> I loved them sm. Love the whole plot, the aesthetic, Wren’s dogs. Everything about this book was simply stunning.

Catherine saved the best for last! I had been anxiously waiting for Shiloh’s book and it was worth the wait! What a book this was! These two own my heart.
I didn’t really think much of Ramsey in the last book, but man he stole my heart from the get-go in his book. He was just sooo amazing. What he’d been through, and what he made of himself, it was beautiful. And I really loved how he was the one to get Shiloh her freedom back and gave her the push to start living again, and how she, in turn, opened up his heart and life to more people and to love. Ugh, these two were pure perfection. I absolutely loved every second of their journey, it was beautiful, emotional, and just everything I could want and more!
The way both of them were with the horses. It was beautiful. And Kai. Ugh, I love dogs, even fictional ones. They always make the story better for me. Add in Aidan and Elliot and, ugh, my heart was a mess. The way they all came to love each other so much and became a family. I was so emotional over it all. It was beautiful. That bonus scene had tears streaming down my face. That’s how much their journey touched me. Their ending was everything. I’m gonna miss them and this whole group of characters so much. This series has by far been my favorite from Catherine. I also loved the little cameos from characters from her other series and some of her next one as well.
And I absolutely love how Catherine restored this family. Little by little, they all had gotten better with each other, but in this book, they all finally worked everything out and were all in such a good place. My heart seriously needed that. They all deserved to finally move past what had happened, get some peace, and just move on as a family. It was so beautiful to watch those little moments. It really had me all emotional throughout the book, and just made my heart happy.
Fractured Sky really was pure perfection. These two were made for each other. And their relationship and journey was beautiful in every way. I won’t soon forget their story or this series.

I finished reading book 2 of this duet today! I was fully immersed in it! From the plot to the characters, the suspense, and the emotions… it was an incredible read!
My heart was in my throat most of the time. Becca’s enemy was so cruel. It really hurt reading some of the things she went through, especially on top of what happened to her in the past. I loved her though. She was so broken and she just wanted to fit in and make friends. I just wanted her to catch a break.
Evan was so great from the moment he first appeared, even when he tried to keep his distance. I soon fell in love with him and his little brother, Eli. Gosh, that kid was the cutest! I loved their moments, and how much he adored Becca. It was so sweet.
Pretty much every character in this duet is dysfunctional in some type of way. They all have a hard life and have been through it. They are all keeping secrets. Secrets that hurt a lot of people when they come out. Prepare yourself for some emotional scenes that will have your heart aching.

I'm kinda sad that some things didn't happen during this book. And we barely got any answers still, only more questions. I had been afraid about this story after how Molly showed up on tour at the end of Ruin. I knew from that moment that something bad had happened and it was something that would change the game. Reading Riot was hard. It was very emotional, both main characters are dealing with emotional trauma and also their feelings for one another.
This was an emotional book, but I think that's what made it so beautiful. These two connected in a deeper way, and their brokenness made them open their eyes to their true feelings. It was like two broken pieces coming together to form a whole piece, with a few chips here and there.
Hudson surprised me so much. He had an incredibly sweet side that I adored. I loved seeing him so protective of Molly and just acting so understanding and supportive with her. It made me fall for him even harder. He was dealing with some issues from his past and my heart hurt for him too. He had a lot of doubts about his feelings, and mostly about whether love was worth the potential future pain. It was hard to see him doubt it all.
Molly. I have always loved her. It was hard watching her in so much suffering. She wasn't the same after what she went through and watching her keep her distance from everyone really messed with my feelings. But slowly, with everyone's help, and time, she started taking over the reins of her life again. It was beautiful to watch that, too.
Once again, the bandmate shenanigans provided much laughter. I love their friendships so much. They are a pain in each other's buts but it's so fun, and they take it in stride. As always, this book ended with a little insight into the next book and gosh I'm so excited for the last BHSB member to find love. I loved Damon's novella, and I've been dying for some progress about these two. After the last chapter of Riot, I'm dying for his book. Too bad the wait will be so long.
