"Bluebeard" delves into the story of documenting LA's first serial killer, weaving between Kathryn Wombacher's discovery of her husband's deceptions and the interview/trial of James Watson. Despite my usual aversion to stories with back-and-forth timelines, this one pulled it off seamlessly. I rated it 3.5 stars because I found the ending somewhat predictable, lacking the element of surprise that I enjoy in thrillers.

I've never delved into the thriller/murder mystery genre before this audiobook, and I must say I'm now a fan! The plot was captivating with plenty of unexpected twists and turns. No one seemed truly innocent, as many characters close to or related to the victims had strong motives. I only rated the plot 4 out of 5 because the ending was somewhat predictable.
I think I'm turning into an audiobook enthusiast because the production of this audiobook was outstanding. Different voice actors for the characters made the experience incredibly immersive – it felt like listening to an old radio show. You can tell that the production team put a lot of thought and effort into making it a wonderful audiobook experience....more
