Logan’s best friend is Harper’s twin brother. They end up as roommates with the idea that nothing could ever happen between them, but we all know how that always goes! They go on a fake date and while things seem to have gone well. Logan says some really unkind things about Harper to Hagan. He is trying to hide his feelings for Harper but it really hurts her.
Despite every reason to be apart, their chemistry is so strong they can’t fight it any longer. I love Kristin’s writing because she has really well developed characters and the stories are just packed full of emotion. Harper and Logan each have their own emotional struggles and they find comfort and strength in each other.
This audio was fantastic. I absolutely loved Aaron Shedlock and the way he portrayed Logan. He really fit the character. Callie Dalton shined as Harper. The way she played out Harper’s anxiety really was a top moment! This is the reason I love audiobooks because you get so much more with it being performed by amazing narrators! ...more

This is the story of Tag and Maddie who meet for a date from a dating site. They know each other from living in town but don’t have any relationship. Initially they don’t stick around for the date, but when things happen and they end up spending the date together they are surprised by how much they enjoyed it. The book goes slow in the sense of time (not the story) as quite a few chapters are written just about the few hours of their date but I really enjoyed how it was written.
Maddie is a single mom who hides from the scars of her past. She is stronger than she would ever admit and her daughter is her entire life. Tag is the bad boy who is going to win over your heart. Despite Maddie being all about her family and being a mom and Tag being an eternal bachelor, they found things in each other that no one else saw and developed a strong connection. The way Tag’s heart warmed to Gigi was so beautiful. They were both protecting their heart for different reasons but they found a way to break down those walls and let love in.
The story was very well written with parts to swoon and parts that anger you, an adorable girl who steals the show, lessons about your imperfections, and some serious panty dropping goodness! ...more

I did read book 1 but it was so long ago I felt like I was forgetting certain details and I did not feel that things were recapped enough in this book. I would have preferred to read them back to back because of that.
Teagan is Van’s sister from the previous story and Aaron does work for them. Teagan and Aaron had a very special story. When they first meet, Teagan assumes that Aaron does not like her because of how he acts toward her, but it turns out it is because he does like her. Aaron had his own backstory that was discussed more towards the beginning of the book, which involved previous girls he used to sleep with and the family that he has kept secret. Teagan’s story became much more prominent towards the end of the book. Teagan deals with anxiety and the need to be perfect and her inability to say no. I love how perfect Teagan and Aaron were together. They both carry a lot of weight on their shoulders but they encourage each other to let it go. When things become troubled, I love that Aaron never left Teagan’s side, and when he had no choice but to physically be away from her, he was there for emotionally. What a beautiful love story. ...more
