This is a MUST READ for a lot of people. People who are aging themselves, people who have aging family members, and ALL members of the health care world. This book was enlightening, interesting and has spurred me to answer FOR MYSELF some of the tough questions about life and end of life. I worked for 35 years as an RN in the NICU. We hear about people coming in with "Birth Plans". I think it's time for people to write out "Death Plans" as well. That may sound strange or scary, but it's not. Rea ...more

While it does deal with the subject of death and dying, it comes from a very humane perspective. What is most important to you in the end? What type of living space or treatments will you endure? Obviously good for your own life, but it also will give you the courage you may need to have these conversations with your aging parents and loved ones.
