When heiress Amala White hears her fiance plotting with her stepmother to steal her fortune, she flees her home and runs right into a blizzard. Fortunately, a kind stranger offers her refuge. Snowed in, Amala gets to know the handsome stranger and his seven quirky uncles and wonders if this is really what family is all about.
Marcus Royal is wary of strangers, but a blizzard brings him in forced proximity with a woman who makes him question the walls around his heart. Working around the orchard allows him to see layers Amala hides under. Maybe they're not so different after all.
Can the healing power of Christmas and fun uncles bring about a romance?

I loved it! I really enjoyed the faith aspect of the story along with the spoken prayers throughout. It was refreshing and inspirational. There were a few quotes I highlighted while reading as well. The way they talked to God really reached out to me. This was a first-time author for me and I will definitely read more by her. A modern retelling of Snow White - done well.
One of my favorite quotes is: "He wants nothing but the best for you. Offers you an abundant life. Which requires you to step into the light. To realize that the moment He called you His, light shone from within. To live less denies His love. It prevents a fullness of life."
Surprises popping up everywhere. Amala White is an introverted heiress, living with her wicked step mother. Upon overhearing a dreadful and deceitful plot, Amala high tails it away from home. In her haste to leave, she is ill-dressed, and totally unaware of the weather. The weather is fretful and not fit driving up the mountain. She had to be rescued and taken in by strangers. Here she is able to be real, and able to enjoy life, surrounded by caring ppl, including Dr. Marcus Royal. All the family rally around her and feel protective of her, especially the young fine doctor.

My thoughts: 🔖Page 26 of 130 Ch. 3 - Snow White is one of my least favorite stories so I wasn't expecting much, but boy was I wrong. This story is exciting out of the gate, I wish it were a novel. I'm going to put off my errands so I can finish this book.
This was great. I would definitely watch this if they made a movie. Maybe I'm off my game but it wasn't as predictable as I expected it to be.
Recommend to others: Yes. This was fun and could have been 5 stars for me with a few tweaks and more time.
I think I've found my new favorite Toni Shiloh book! Alright.. second favorite. I think "In Search of a Prince" edges this one out just a tad because it has an audio version. Loved this!
A fun retelling! My only complaint is that I could not for the life of me figure out which uncle matched each of the 7 dwarfs LOL which I guess is really a me problem.
This was a fun and heartwarming novella about two people who had been through the wringer in different ways.
This novella highlights how money, fears, and trying to do it all ourselves never leads to anything good. Letting go and letting God leads to the best outcome with such blessings.
If you’ve ever loved fairytales and Christmas, then this is a book for you! This cute story is a retelling of the Snow White fairytale, and the author has done a sweet job. All the characters are so delightful and fun. I first read this story in a collection of other stories by different authors, and it really warmed my heart. This is a perfect book to read during the holidays because it will get you in the spirit of Christmas. Toni Shiloh is an author who brings out the sweetest stories and has you believing each of these characters is real. Her stories flow with great dialog and wonderful word pictures of places, people, and relationships. I laughed, and I cried, (well, not from anything too sad, but from laughing) I truly loved every moment I was reading this book and hope you will too. I highly recommend you pick it up and read it. I was given this book by the author which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Once upon a time, the talented Toni Shiloh got an idea. With a smile and a song, she wrote, wrote, wrote at her desk the whole day through, whistling while she worked.
On blank pages she combined the fragrance of apples, nostalgic Disney references, the enchantment of snow, and a sweet romance. Returning home from work, Shiloh presented a completed book—A Snow White Christmas.
Fair readers who’d been wishing for a story to love found the tale so romantic and charming, they could not resist! Away to the castle of imagination they went to read, quite happily, ever after. The End.
This book remind of the Bible verse that said the heart of a man is very very wicked. And you cannot serve God and money together one has to have the upper hand.
We all know that our God is a jealous God he cannot and will not share us with anyone.
This book all about allowing God to love us back and not just us loving God, he can love us back the way he want to. She got to understand love from God's own not as people think but the way God loves us.
I want Shiloh to reimagine all of my favorite fairy tales! This was such a sweet retelling of Snow White. I love how she modernized all of the classic bits of the story we’ve all grown up with. This was sweet, nostalgic and a little mysterious all at the same time.
Took a gamble on this book. My gamble paid off!!! I could not put it down. I recommend this to anyone who loves a little danger and happy ending! I really enjoyed the characters and storyline. Great job!!!
I really enjoyed this fairy tale retelling - Shiloh did a great job with assigning the various parts to characters in the story. I like the spiritual aspect of it too - trusting the Lord to work things out.
Amazing twist on a traditional story, I'm amazed at the creative and inventive writing to transform a fairy tale into an evangelical story! The author continues surprise!
