Camden & Oaklyn
First off I just love both of their names. They have know each other since they were 12, but deemed off limits due to Oaklyn being Hannah's, Camden's twin sister, best friend.
Oaklyn is ready to lose her virginity at 25 and she wants Camden to help her with that and expand her sexual knowledge.
Usually Marni gives us a fast burn with some steamage in the 1st or 2nd chapter, but this one was on the slower burn side and I didn't hate that for them. I mean there was some action, but not action action until later one. Camden did like a complete 180 on his outlook of what he saw for himself and I loved that about him. Oaklyn just leaves a ray of sunshine where ever she goes.
Overall, a delightful end to the Dalton Family series. I bet we haven't seen the last of them though.
Side cover notes ~ he has a nice looking jawline, not a fan of suit jacket sleeves scrunched up, but I do like that he is wearing a leather bracelet as that was brought up a few times in the story.

this was a fun read! the whole dalton series is about billionaire grumpy-ish assholes which are always fun to read about.
this is a best friend’s brother/seggs coach book where oaklyn is inexperienced and looking for playboy camden to take her v-card and show her how to please her future husband. camden’s twin, hannah, is oaklyn’s lifelong best friend who strictly forbid him from dating any of her friends but well here we are:
this was hot and fun, i am usually SO down for a coach trope. it’s my favorite iteration of the reformed playboy trope but this felt a little rushed. we were kind of thrown right into the dynamic without any build up of their tension or chemistry but it was hot for sure.

He's a fucking shit.
Don't get me started
on Oakland's purity.
Being that naive
with internet?
An obscurity.
This really wasn't for me. The two MC's were awful and I could not get into the story as a result.
I had really enjoyed The Billionaire which is book 2 in this series (can all be read as stand alones), so I am hoping this is a one off.
Much love to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for letting me check it out.

Camden put the 5 lessons into place for Oaklyns sake and didn’t realize he might be the one who actually needs them in the end. But no one can know about their little arrangement. ESPECIALLY not Hannah, the bestie and twin sister. Camden promised her many years ago that he would never go after Hannah’s friends and here he is, coming full circle. Oh the beauty of a forbidden romance. You NEED to read this one!

Wow okay I loved this book so much. I’m a sucker for a best friends brother and a Reformed playboy trope and this did not disappoint. Camden and Oaklyn were so good for each other and sheeeeshhh was it hot as ever. The spice was *chefs kiss*. The bachelor was the last in the series but the first book I read of Marni. I loved the characters from the other books I can’t wait to go read their stories! I’m especially excited for Macons story! Thank you NetGalley for the audio arc!!

shit. fuck. damn. just when i think i have a favorite in this series marni goes and plays with my head and makes me rethink my choice. this book, my gosh this book was everything and more. i couldn’t put it down, i was so consumed and turning the pages at record speed. loved, loved, loved this book it was so freaking good.
ever since getting a glimpse of hannah’s best friend, oaklyn in the intern i desperately wanted and needed her book. i kept my fingers crossed that her love interest would be camden, hannah’s twin brother because i knew they’d be amazing together and i was right. oaklyn is sunshine personified, she’s such a caring and positive person with a heart of gold. she also knows what she wants and who she wants it from and when it comes to obtaining it she isn’t afraid to voice it. i loved her confidence and the way she took charge, i just adored her so much.
camden, dear lord he was every. single. freaking. thing. *bows down* i was obsessed with him. he’s been living the bachelor life and that’s just the way he likes and wants it. he doesn’t want a relationship but when he leasts expects it his world will be tuned on its axis and his heart will never be the same.
oaklyn and camden were electrifying. their attraction for one another was hot, hot, hot. they had scorching chemistry and definitely brought the fire. i loved how they respected each other and the trust they both showed and had towards one another. they made an amazing couple are were perfect for each other.
the bachelor was a delectable unputdownable sizzling billionaire romance that brought an endless amount of heat as well as tender moments. marni went out with a bang with the conclusion of the addictive dalton family series. i’m so excited for what’s to come and i can’t wait for more from marni aka the queen of spice.

Oaklyn, a good girl and the best friend of Camden's sister, has been drawn to Camden for a long time.
Due to his troubles with commitment and fear for his sister, Camden, the ultimate bachelor, is hesitant to date Oaklyn. Camden first tries to object when Oaklyn suggests taking her virginity and teaching her about being sexy and seduction. I loved seeing them both growing throughout the story and experience their own chemistry and feelings.
Their chemistry is evident, though, and the teachings soon transcend the purely physical. By keeping the tension high, Mann does a great job examining the characters' emotional depth.
This steamy book will appeal to fans of forbidden romance, friends-to-lovers, and best friend's brother clichés.

Why this didn’t do it for me? I’m unsure the exact reason. But Camden was so annoying in the beginning, it drove me insane. Plus the script flipped out of no where. Camden was all “I cant fall for you, no feelings between us ever” then in the next paragraph “I love you.” I just wasn’t vibing, sadly.
These tropes are heavy hitters for me, but this book just didn’t deliver the way it could’ve. The spice was good, but not good enough to carry the whole story.

This was such a quick and easy read, with lots of steam and chemistry between Camden & Oaklyn. At first, I thought Camden is going to try hard to reject his feelings but he really surprised me. Oaklyn was a really nice girl who deserved the man whom she wanted to be worthy of her. The plot has less drama, is fast paced and will keep you hooked to find out whether Camden & Oaklyn get their HEA without any hurdles. So if you're looking for something hot and lighthearted, you should definitely pick this book up!

I read this whole series. I enjoyed every book - after reading each one I would say “well, this is my new favorite of the series.” The only thing I didn’t really care for, is each story was predictable. Each book has the same plot, young girl meets older man, they get together, man doesn’t know or want to fall in love, something happens and the man decides he’s ready and can’t live without her, the live happily ever after.

I really enjoyed the dual narration on this book! Since it takes place from two main characters points of views, it was nice having the back and forth dynamic between the male and female narrators. The story can be read as a standalone but is also part of a series. It was sexy and romantic without being too over the top and was very well written. I’m definitely going to check out some of the other books in the series!

I deteste the whole “I’m in love with my sister’s best friend” because the whole thing is juvenile to me but Marni Mann writes the most sexy scenes I’ve ever read so I put that away to read this one.
The problem here - and the thing that killed the whole book for me - is that Oaklyn proposition herself to her best friend’s brother, Camden, say she’s a virgin and that she wants to learn how to be a great lover and his reaction is to make a contest, meaning she has to go through 5 lessons to prove to him she can handle having sex with him before he fucks her.
And the whole time I’m thinking to myself “why this girl is putting so much work to prove herself to this guy?” She literally could go to a bar and have sex with the first guy she saw it or any other guy would be willing to fuck right away if she said “I’m a virgin and I want to lose my virginity “, why was she going out of her way for Camden?
When he asked her to masturbe for him as a lesson, to see if she would cave and leave, I was like “girl, tell him you’re done and you can find someone else, please, he’s not the only man who knows how to fuck”.
The arrogance, the audacity and honestly the fact that he wasn’t even humble to be asked by her spoiled the book for me. And more so the fact that he knew so much about how to please a woman while she was the one who didn’t even know her G-spot, that’s bullshit. I like a little fantasy but this was way to surreal for me.
But my God, this author knows how to write sex scenes. It’s hot, it’s different from anything else I’ve read and I don’t even need a toy to get me off because her words do it for me.
I just wish she would turn off the arrogance in the men a little bit because in this case was way to much.

So different from the other books in Marni’s Dalton Family Series but still so so spicy! Forbidden to its core, The Bachelor gave me life! Oaklyn makes a pact with Camden to be her first in one year if she hasn’t found Mister Right by then. Fast forward and guess what? It’s time! But Camden’s twin sister is Oaklyn’s best friend and he promised to never date one of her besties. Oops!
The banter, the build up, THE SPICE! The Bachelor had it all and left me just as satisfied as Oaklyn at the very end. 😉

I devoured this book. So smutty 🥵 it was such a fun and easy read. A simple story of a boy (Camden) who wanted his twin sister’s best friend (Oaklyn) for over a decade. But he made his sister a promise he wouldn’t date any of her friends.
Camden grows up to be a player (because what else are you supposed to do when you can’t have the girl you really want) and Oaklyn has lots of relationships but nothing really special. Maybe because she has been waiting for Camden to make his move.
Oaklyn gets tired of waiting and instead makes Camden an offer he can’t refuse (surprise it’s a sexy offer). A lot of smut and sneaking around happens and I loved every second of it.
I don’t normally give a pepper rating but this one needs it and I’m still not sure, this could be 4.

If the overly touchy feely couple in a rollercoaster line were written as characters in a book, this would be it.
We went from 0-100 with no proper character development whatsoever.

This was headed to be my favorite Dalton Family book but then out of nowhere they did a 180 and were ready to marry!? I would have loved a more gradual love and commitment, not saying I love you and moving in together in less than 5 dates.
I really enjoyed the MMC though, he’s sexy and kind, and I’m a sucker for the best friend’s sibling trope, and I liked how things were resolved because they are all grown adults that can just talk, so if things would have progressed in a more natural pace I would have LOVED this one.

The Bachelor is book 5 of The Dalton Family series and boy does Marni Mann bring the heat for the final book. Camden is Hannah's twin brother (from the previous book, The Intern) and Oaklyn is her BFF. Can you say FORBIDDEN??!! Let's just say that these two bring the heat but so much more! And don't worry, this book is a complete standalone and it is not necessary to read the previous books. But if you like this one, you'll definitely want to go back and read them.
Oaklyn is a good girl that has a huge heart, but hasn't met the right person. In fact, she is still a virgin. But since they were kids, she has had a thing for Camden. Of course they were off-limits to each other due to Hannah. Now Oaklyn is older and wants Camden to take it all. Take her virginity and teach her how to be and have sex without disappointing her lover. Camden meanwhile is the epitome of a Bachelor. He likes women, but he doesn't like a commitment. Sound familiar?

The Bachelor is a steamy, forbidden romance. Camden’s twin sister, Hannah, makes a rule that he can’t be involved with any of her friends. He follows this rule until he gets a proposition from Hannah’s best friend, Oaklyn that he can’t turn down. Can they keep it just physical or what will happen if they develop feelings? I really enjoyed the return of all the characters from the Dalton series especially Hannah and learning more about her twin brother and best friend. This continues the Dalton series. I recommend starting with The Intern but all books can be read as stand alones. I recommend The Bachelor for romance fans.

Camden and Oaklyn’s story might just be my favorite! The PINING is what gets me!! Right away we are introduced to the way Camden views Oaklyn and right away we know it’s forbidden! So, you know it’s going to be a juicy story. Oaklyn, is this sweet, naive and untouched woman who’s loved this man her whole life. She finally gets the courage to ask him the unthinkable. And as much as he tries to scare her away and resist, you know that ain’t happening! The things that were said and done in this book… wow. Mann never ceases to amaze me! A great conclusion to the series.

One of the best in the series. I really loved it until around the 40% mark; I was convinced it was going to be a 5, but then Hannah's twin brother and cousin of the Dalton brothers, Camden, the supposed ultimate bachelor, wanted to take things with Oaklyn to more serious levels without any kind of introspection or angst, just because he spent a nice dinner with her and smiled as they exchanged messages. Ok, he's had a crush on his sister's best friend since they were young, but still, it's not very believable...
I wish Camden had been a bit more like Declan in the last book and that the main characters had had more moments with their families and friends while they were hidding their relationship; that would be fun to read.
The way they were discovered was... duhhh, really?

My first read by this author who just happens to live in my neck of the woods in SWFLA.
I didn't know what to expect when I went into this book mid series, but I must say that I was pleasantly suprised about just how much I enjoyed this forbidden romance between this couple.She is the BFF of the hero"s twin and therefore forbidden to him to date her.
I really enjoyed this romance and just loved the hero's dirty talking!
This was a light sexy read with just the right amount of smutty goodness.Loved this couple!

This series and this book embodies the lives of the beautiful, ambitious, wealthy, sexy and successful people.
It’s an escape into a very indulgent and lush lifestyle.
It’s well written, decadent erotica with great locales, sensual atmosphere and top notch dirty talk.
This book is a bit of a slow burn with a virgin heroine. She’s ready to explore her sexuality with her best friends brother.
It’s a fast, sensual and surprisingly sweet story.
I loved the sexy games these characters played, I loved their interactions with each other and the secondary characters.
I love that the pair have known each other since their preteen years, it makes their connection seem realistic. I love that they are a bit forbidden and have to be secretive. I love forbidden romance and the excitement and nervous butterflies that come with it.
