Rate this book
An expert crime fixer who’s always in control is unaware she’s the unwitting puppet in a twisted game.

Bristol Kelley is a master at manipulating the facts of a crime scene, creating a new truth that allows her guilty clientele to remain free. But she is unable to ignore the evidence when she's hired to frame a police detective for drug dealing. His investigation into the death of a young teenage girl has made him a target and has Bristol second guessing what the truth really is.

With the possibility of more young lives at stake, Bristol decides to double-cross her client and enlists the help of her rival, ex-cop and security expert, Cole Sullivan, which carries risks of its own. But as the pair begin to uncover a sickening crime, what they discover is that the man responsible is connected to Bristol’s past, and his final goal has her at its center.

Now, it’s not just the lives of innocent girls at stake, but Bristol is being led back into a nightmarish childhood that may force her to do the unthinkable.

Sleight of Hand

This book kept me in the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. The characters were so well developed. With each twist you had no idea what would happen next. It also gave a different perspective as to what is right and what is wrong. Sometimes when a person does what they think is right, things don’t go the way they plan. We need to remember that forgiving is what will free us not the person we forgive. I definitely recommend this book to anyone. I can’t wait to read the second book.
