This was a good novella I wish it was longer but the author said this couple shall get a longer book next year. 😭😭😭

This is a reread for me, one that I loved! It’s almost time for their full novel, and after reading the first few chapters at the end of this one, I can’t wait! In this book, Gavin is Eros is Cupid, and he’s lived and long, long life. At a party for his dating app, he meets Chloe, and everything else fades away. Chloe, likewise sees Gavin, and finds it quite easy to turn down all the other men who approach her. They find out that they have sizzling chemistry and agree on one wild night together.
And y’all…it’s wild. You don’t become the immortal God of love without having some skills, and my man Eros has the finesse and the filthy mouth to back it up with! Holy PRAISE, I loved every minute! It ended on a really (for me) bittersweet note, but now that I only have a few months until their HEA, it hurt a lot less than a year ago when I read this the first time!
And y’all…it’s wild. You don’t become the immortal God of love without having some skills, and my man Eros has the finesse and the filthy mouth to back it up with! Holy PRAISE, I loved every minute! It ended on a really (for me) bittersweet note, but now that I only have a few months until their HEA, it hurt a lot less than a year ago when I read this the first time!

This one definitely took number one spot for spicy novellas. I loooove these characters - Gavin (Eros) is a sexy ginger (not enough of these in romance) and I’m pretty sure every one of us can relate to Chloe on a scary level (she’s into Minotaur smut) of course the spice was amazing, but I was also so into the depth of the characters and little relationship build that began. The best part? They’re getting their own FULL LENGTH praise the spice gods 🙏🏼🙌🏼

OKAY THIS MIGHT BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE NOVELLAS!!!
I’m not giving it 5 stars because the third person dual pov throw me off a lot, I wanted first person. I’m glad this is the beginning of their story and there is a novel coming for them because I wanted more.
I don’t know a lot about greek mythology, I kinda avoid those books because I feel like I could not understand that world to a 100% and that makes me frustrated but this one…I loved it and yes i’m going to read the book when it comes out. It’s a retelling of Eros aka Cupid.
It’s a smutty novella, no plot BUT it was super sweet at the same time. The TEASING WAS AMAZING and their chemistry *cue the fireworks.*
I really liked it a lot, looking foward to their book :)

What a sugar rush this ride was! Woah I’m still flossing my teeth to get all the sweetness stuck there… those naughty candies were pleasurable but the aftermath is a bitch…
First book by new to me author, I know this isn’t her only jam and I definitely want to check her other works out.

Back to 𝑺𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍 the chemistry between Gavin and Chloe is real and I connected with both of them from the get go. The teasing and build up was an adrenaline filled trip, I was also pleased to savour what came afterwards, well done Ms Whitney for fully exploring their passionate encounter. I don’t like when authors wrap things up right after the two main characters are together, I have a need for said bond to be explored and see what happens afterwards. That’s why I enjoyed to experience Gavin and Chloe after they finally rip their clothes off each other.

On the bright side the author leaves us with hope as in her afterwards she promised to bring us the full complete novel. This was such a great novella! I absolutely devoured it. I felt like the theme was so unique and intriguing. I loved how going into it I totally did not expect it to have a God/Gods in it and it has Gavin who is actually Eros also known as CUPID. This would be a great book to read around Valentine’s Day, but I’m so thankful that I received an arc and was able to read it extra early.
I really loved how hard these two totally fell for each other even if they didn’t say it themselves, you could just tell that they connected so well and the sexual tension and chemistry between the two was OFF THE CHARTS. 📈

This novella was a DELIGHT! The hero Gavin is actually a god (Cupid/Eros) and meets Chloe the heroine at a bar. They are instantly into one another and decide to take their chemistry back to her place. So much fun and steam packed into this read, I loved that he is an uber successful app developer with a popular dating app, I loved how they used some sexy valentine’s conversation hearts to decide what they do for the night, I loved that she’s a strong successful business owner and is open and honest with the fact that she doesn’t have time for dating right now. And that ending and the fact that it’s going to be a full length book, umm next year cannot come soon enough! I need more and can’t wait!

In this world Eros aka Gavin, is a developer or creator for a dating app and he has his fair shares of great fucks, but one girl captivated his attention tonight at a singles Party.
Chloe just dabbled with the app, but didn't really go through with it. She became a plus one for a Single's party and then she noticed an alluring man who can't take his eyes off her.
This is definitely one of my recommended novellas for Spicy, hot, delish fun.

I blame me not enjoying this novella on my reading slump. It has hit me hard… but honestly I was quite bored. The games took too long, the writing feels chaotic at times and I simply am not enjoying this pairing. Fortunately for me, it has been a short ride so I didn’t feel like I wasted my time.

Hard candy, public indecency, snow cream. This book was quick and dirty but it still managed to make me want more. These two had an instant connection. I loved how Gavin craved Chloe and how Chloe flirted with him. She wasn’t naive or innocent and that was so sexy! The steam was so freaking GOOD and the ass slaps just kept coming. I could feel their connection and it was incredible! And I seriously can’t wait for more!
Side Note: I LOVE how he mentions her imperfections (stretch marks, etc.) in such a sexy way. So many women are self-conscious about their body so it’s so refreshing to read a smutty novella that celebrates flaws.

If you're looking for a spicy Valentine's Day read, look no further. This has literal Cupid -aka the God Eros- falling in love at first sight!
I couldn't have asked for a more entertaining book to read as I finish my mini marathon to Valentine's Day. I loved both Gavin and Chloe and I am 1000% reading book #2 in the series. This ends in a cliffhanger, since this is kind of a prologue of how the MCs meet.

Carissime fenici, vi faccio una piccola premessa è la mia prima recensione che scrivo e la cosa mi mette un po’ di agitazione, non posso proprio nascondervelo, ma spero di trasmettervi tutto quello che mi ha fatto provare questa storia.
È una novella di poche pagine cariche però di erotismo e di passione tra i due protagonisti. Diciamo che le scene hot non mancano di certo e anzi molto e di più viene racchiuso lì, quindi vi deve piacere il genere altrimenti…
Ho scelto questo libro perché nella trama ho letto: l’angelo caduto, il dio Eros e mi immaginavo già quell’amore proibito, gli déi dell’Olimpo che scendevano sulla Terra… Beh, non è proprio così ecco! La storia è molto più semplice di ciò che pensavo però i personaggi sono ben descritti: lui, il solito ragazzo bello, che non passa certo inosservato, con i suoi segreti, cupo; lei è la classica donna che non vuole più innamorarsi a causa di una storia che l’ha annullata. I due a un certo punto si incontreranno e boom!
Entro un po’ di più nei dettagli.
Gavin che non è altro il dio dell’amore, Eros, l’angelo che è venuto a vivere in mezzo ai mortali e, se vi state immaginando l’angioletto paffutello sulla nuvoletta con arco e frecce alla Pollon, beh, vi sbagliate di grosso, è un uomo alto muscoloso bello come un dio greco con i capelli color fuoco che al posto di arco e frecce usa un’app che fa incontrare le anime gemelle. Ma quella sera nel pub qualcuna lo sconvolgerà come non accadeva da secoli.
Aveva vissuto secoli, e per tutto quel tempo aveva scavato nei desideri e giocato con le emozioni delle persone. Ma questa ragazza… Doveva averla
Poi abbiamo Chloe una ragazza che non crede più nell’amore perché è stata tradita per aver amato troppo e si è buttata a capofitto nel lavoro decisa a non innamorarsi più. Tutto questo però verrà messo in discussione quando incontra Gavin.
“Non sei un serial killer, vero?” chiese mentre la cameriera serviva i loro cocktail.
“E se ti dicessi che sono Cupido?” fece lui, scherzando solo a metà.
“Allora direi che sei peggio di un serial killer” rispose. “Fai innamorare
le persone.”
“L’amore è morte?”
“L’amore è irrealistico e tragico,” rimarcò Chloe. “Per quanto tu possa
amare qualcuno o qualcosa, la morte alla fine te lo porterà via.”
Gavin ha a disposizione una sola notte per farla innamorare, insieme alle sue caramelle a forma di cuore con incisi dei messaggi maliziosi, e sciogliere il cuore freddo di Chloe, riuscirà il nostro il Cupido a fare centro?
Questa novella assomiglia alla favola di Amore e Psiche solo ambientata ai gi0rni nostri, la consiglio per chi vuole leggere qualcosa di leggero e spensierato dove la scrittrice ha saputo descrivere la passione che li unisce ma anche i demoni che li separa.
Personalmente però ho trovato qualche pecca, quel dannato “Baby” mi ha mandata un po’ fuori di testa; altra cosa che mi ha lasciata un po’ dubbiosa è il mancato approfondimento dei personaggi: abbiamo davanti un dio ma non viene valorizzato come tale, e questo mi è dispiaciuto. Questo racconto l’avrei visto più come uno spin off di qualche serie anziché un romanzo autoconclusivo, ma è solo la mia opinione.

When Gavin approaches Chloe, their connection is instantaneous! The way these two kept bantering and teasing each other had me grinning so hard! One of the things I rarely see in romance or erotica is the verbal teasing, and the way these two went at it was amazing. I could not stop grinning; it made for the sexual tension to build up before my eyes, and when they got together, it was electrifying! And the candy hearts they used... *fans face* They would put them into action. 'TEASE ME', 'TASTE ME', 'GOOD GIRL', 'LICK ME', 'BEG FOR IT'

While this novella is erotic, I loved that it included some vulnerable moments shared by Chloe. Seeing her strong demeanor let down her walls a little for Gavin to get to know her was powerful. I also loved to see Chloe and Gavin interacting and feeling at home with each other in between their sexy moments. For such a short story, I truly believed the connection these two characters had.
Overall, Sweet Girl is kinky hot and electrifying, filled with teasing, banter, and some vulnerable moments that is perfect to read in one sitting.

I was lucky to get an ARC and this is my honest GLOB review. Okay. HOLD UP. HELL, TO THE FRUCKIN YES! GAVIN AND CHLOE! YAS QUEEN, JACK! The smut was just beautiful from start to finish! EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS! Why am I screaming?! Because this is the most delicious piece of smut I've ever read and it's worth EVERYTHING!
I was initially intrigued with this novella because it has the Eros/Cupid theme. I am not a fan of themed novellas. I don't think this is a retelling and I may be wrong. Don't quote me on that. I love Chloe she's pretty good at dropping those mic-dropping comments and Gavin. Oh my, Eros...I think I may be on an Eros trip this month...This god...made me:

It's a short read 137 pages I think? I am super happy that Jack will continue with the characters because I SUPER LOVED the chemistry. This is just perfect. Like I wanna see where it goes with both of them.
The book is like eating a sample of expensive ass chocolate. You feel a bit dirty because you want more. Not gonna lie this is one of my top novellas this year! I don't think I would need a spice meter for this because it broke it, ma'am. I could definitely see myself reading this again and again.
