If you mess with the Glass family, don’t expect to live to tell the tale...
What was meant to be a straightforward jewellery heist goes horribly wrong, and the thieves are forced to take a hostage to make their escape. But when they discover their prisoner is the infamous Nina Glass - one of the bosses of the most dangerous criminal dynasty in London - they soon realise they have made a terrible mistake.

Greed wins out over good sense and the gang decide to make the best of a bad situation. They send Luke Glass a ransom note. But messing with London's top crime dynasty is a serious error. Now Luke must track down the gang who abducted his sister before they carry out their brutal threats.

The Glass family have other problems. The crooked cop they have on their payroll - DCI Oliver Stanford - makes an unwelcome discovery. The insider they had all presumed dead, may in fact have survived, and still be feeding information to the police.

Under attack from all sides, and desperate to save his sister, Luke has the reputation and survival of the crime dynasty in his hands – is this the end of the Glass family?

Three people can keep a secret - if two of them are dead...

The Glass Family #3

What was meant to be a straight forward jewellery heist goes horribly wrong and the thieves are forced to take a hostage to make their escape. But when they discover their prisoner is the infamous Nina Glass - one of the bosses of the most dangerous criminal dynasty in London - they soon realise they have made a terrible mistake. Greed wins out over good sense and the gang decide to the best of a bad situation. They send Luke Glass a ransom note. But messing with London's top crime dynasty is a serious error.

This is an action packed fast paced read. I was quickly pulled into this gripping and thrilling read. It had me on the edge of my seat a few times. I liked the authors style in writing this book even though it is quite brutal in places. This is the best book in the series so far. I can't wait to read what's in store for us next. This book held my attention throughout.

I would like to thank #NetGalley #BoldwoodBooks and the author #OwenMullen for my ARC of #Hustle in exchange for an honest review.

The Glass Family are back in this 3rd addition to the series. The books would work well as stand alone but more enjoyable if you have read the previous books to get the background to this uniquely brilliant gangland family.

Following the 'disappearance' of his big brother Danny, Luke Glass has control of the London underworld but the whole family is aware there is always someone who thinks they have what it takes to get one up on the Glass Family.

A straight forward Jewellery heist, carried out by some privileged youngsters looking for excitement, goes horribly wrong - or horribly right - and they find themselves not only with a haul of priceless gems but also a hostage, not any hostage, their hostage turns out to be Nina Glass, sister of the head of London's crime dynasty.

Finding out where Nina has disappeared to on top of other problems including a tame copper who is turning out to being not so tame and the possibility of an insider they thought was dead but is still very much alive. Problems are hitting the Glass Family on all sides. Can Luke hold it together and keep his family and organisation safe? Well you will have to read the book to find out.

The characters continue to develop in realism and uniqueness with such skill that you almost find yourself liking the bad guys as well as the good (but are they good?).

This is another action packed, adrenaline pumping read that I was unable to put down. So many secrets, lies, and hatred intermingled with drugs and gangland thugs which makes this an absolutely phenomenal read that is not for the faint hearted. Definitely 5 stars from me.

Loved being back with the guys from LBC and "The Posh Gang" were a lot of fun to write. I feel the introduction of new characters keeps the series fresh - more true to life - after all most of us have ships that pass through our night so why wouldn't London's top crime gang have them too? But more importantly it opens up new adventures for the Glass family - more chances to rise or fall. For sure they'll meet their match one day...or perhaps they just did!
Huge thanks to everyone who's following the series.

Hustle is the third instalment in this series and I can’t stop reading it! It’s rare for me to get so close to all characters in a story and this is one of those cases.
The family business is flourishing and I a twist of a moment, Nina gets caught up in a middle of a robbery. After the villains come to know who is she and what’s her values , a ransom is send to her brother.
Things spiral a lot from here and with some very unexpected twists, the story takes us on an interesting ride.
I can’t get enough of it and I’m so looking forward to read more.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

First things first, you don’t need to have read the first 2 books in the series to be able to follow this one. What I love about Owen’s work is how he easily slips in key info to remind readers of past events which is just the right amount for a new reader to be able to follow.. but at the same time I do recommend reading the rest of the series…it’s bloody good!

We are back with the Glass family and a new threat is about to hit the family hard.

During what should have been a straightforward robbery a hostage is taken.. that hostage is Nina Glass. The robbers didn’t know that at first but now they do they have a choice…and they decide its time to have a bit of fun with the Glass family..

They must be crazy as Luke Glass isn’t a man to cross but Luke might have his work cut out for him on this one… he doesn’t know who these people are.. or where they are.

Luke uses all his contacts to find Nina, even risking his inside man within the police force but will it be enough.

What I really enjoyed with this one was the development of Nina. She’s a tough cookie but we see deeper into her personality, more than we ever have before. Simply no other word for it than WOW!

With each instalment of the Glass family the tale goes deeper, darker and grittier than previous and it’s seriously too good not to read and love!

I also love how Owen manages to pack so much into his tales. Not only does Luke have to save his sister but there’s some wannabes looking for a piece of the action they feel belongs to them.. Should the family give ground or stand up to these fools.. again.. no one messes with Luke Glass. No one messes with the family.

Another 5* from Owen…I’m not sure how he manages to do it but he clearly knows the recipe for a good gangland thriller.

This story follows on immediately from the end of book 2, Insider, so to get the most out of it I would really recommend reading the series in order to get to know fully the characters involved and the back history. Things have been calmer for the Glass family over the last few years after the whole hoo-ha involving his psychotic brother Danny and Rollie Anderson. Luke Glass is concentrating on building his Glass Gate construction empire, sister Nina is running the Glass Houses real estate business and newly discovered sister Charley is in charge of Luke’s LBC Club in the heart of the city which caters to the rich and famous amongst the other “services” it offers. South London and the street level business is left to the very experienced George Ritchie who was once employed by the Andersons and Felix Corrigan now oversees the East End.
It’s a slowish start with the Glass family members taking care of business in the usual way, but when they receive first one then another challenge to their rule, they are not slow to prove that no one messes with them. It’s easy to forget that Luke’s Head of Security Mark Douglas is still the insider Luke was searching for in the previous story, an undercover police officer placed in the gang to work on Operation Clean Sweep searching for bent coppers like DCI Oliver Stanford, once in Danny’s pocket and now helping Luke. Mark hasn’t put a foot wrong, helping Luke with whatever is required, and now he’s fallen in love with Nina and is questioning his loyalties. Just which way will he jump?
First it’s the turn of the entitled and self-assured former Jolly Boys, Rafe Purefoy and Julian Greyland, successful equity traders until they were fired for insider dealing. Together with Rafe’s psycho thrill seeker girlfriend Coco and using Rafe’s naïve younger brother Henry as getaway driver, they carry out a daring armed raid on an elderly Jewish jeweller in Soho. Unfortunately they bite off far more than they can chew when they discover the woman customer they have kidnapped is Nina Glass. As soon as her identity is revealed, Nina’s life hangs in the balance as the gang are unpredictable amateurs looking for kicks. Nina knows this and, true to her blood, is not prepared to go down without a fight. At the same time, Felix Corrigan is having a few problems with a small-time street gang leader called TT. Heavily tattooed and intimidating, he believes he is due back the patch that he lost to the Glass empire after Jonas Small was explosively ousted. Even after he pushes his luck and is put firmly in his place, he doesn’t have the brains to give it up. Things are not going to end well for any of these people who dare to cross Team Glass. The action really hots up in the second and third parts of the book as the Glass family strive to take back control, pulling out all the stops with some horrifying scenes that prove how ruthless they can be when they need to protect their own.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story with its shocking yet perfectly placed ending which will leave the reader clamouring for the next book. All the characters are so vivid and very true to type, from the heavy-set minders to the highly experienced and clever George. You can just picture Scrap Hughie and Bridie O’Shea in their lairs! There’s plenty of action and thrills in this very well written gripping story. They might be gangsters but the family and their employees are easy to like and once again I found myself rooting for them to come out victorious.
Oh, and if you think these guys are hardnuts, just wait until you meet Freddie!! 5*

I have read and thoroughly enjoyed several of Owen’s books to date. I especially enjoy the series featuring the notorious Glass family. ‘Hustle’ is the third book in the series and what a cracker of a read it is too. I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘Hustle’ but more about that in a bit.
I have to say that the Glass family scare the doo doo out of me. They are part of the criminal underworld and ‘run’ a fair sized area of London. The Glass family are a tight unit and woe betide anybody who either messes with or upsets a member of the clan. The family aren’t exactly slow in tackling anybody who causes them a problem and their methods for dealing with problems isn’t always legal or pain free. I think they are the sort of family that you would cross the street to avoid.
I was drawn into ‘Hustle’ from the synopsis alone and the story within the book’s covers sealed the deal as it were. I found it extremely difficult to put this book to one side for any length of time. I would pick the book up only intending to read a couple of chapters to pass the odd half hour but I would become so wrapped up in the lives and shenanigans of the various characters that I would still be sat there reading over two hours and several chapters later. I had my own theories as to what was going to happen and I had to keep reading to see if I was on the right track or if I had wandered down the wrong path entirely. I couldn’t turn the pages quickly enough as I worked my way through the story. All too quickly I reached the end of ‘Hustle’ and I had to say farewell to the Glass family. I found ‘Hustle’ to be the true definition of a an unputdownable page turner of a story. I found it to be a gripping story that kept me guessing and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.
‘Hustle’ is extremely well written but then that’s true of Owen’s books in general. Owen has one of those writing styles that is easy to get used to and easy to get along with. Owen certainly knows how to grab the reader’s attention and draw the reader into what proves to be one hell of a story. For me, the story hit the ground running and maintained a fairly fast pace throughout. Reading ‘Hustle’ felt like being on a rather scary and unpredictable rollercoaster ride with several twists and turns along the way. I love the way in which Owen makes the reader feel as though they are part of the story and at the heart of the action. That’s how I felt at any rate.
In short, I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘Hustle’ and I would definitely recommend it to other readers. I will certainly be reading more of Owen’s work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

Wow! What an incredible and brilliantly written book Hustle is. A brutal story of gangland violence, revenge and reputations.
After Nina is taken hostage, somewhat on a whim after a disastrous jewellery heist that goes seriously awry, her life is in huge danger and she has to keep her wits about her and a devil may care attitude to show her captures, not only how strong she is but how very stupid they are.

At the head of the Glass family is Luke and he is beside himself with worry over his kidnapped sister. Not only does he have to maintain his Gang boss title he needs to show loyalty to his family. Can he really do both without losing face. Which is more important to him? Will Nina and the rest of the family be shocked by his ultimate decision?

Hustle is a shocking insight into the minds of deadly assassins who will literally stop at nothing to get what they want. Why on earth did this somewhat posh unruly gang take Nina? Did they really think it through or was it all down to the beautiful Coco, whose shell begins to crack in her drug crazed state of mind. Is this all just a crazy game to her and her posh boyfriend Rafe?

As the end gets ever closer I literally could not put this book down. The violence that springs out of the pages with Owen's brilliant and descriptive style is truly shocking. I found myself taking sharp intakes of breathe, then holding my breathe just waiting for the terrible outcome to come to its appalling end. How Owen creates these scenes is astounding and the finale, when it comes made me blanch in fear. I was wholly drawn into the world of The Glass family. What a completely awesome book. Owen Mullen deserves all the praise he gets for creating such an outrageous London gangland family. The Glass's are a force to be reckoned with and no body could see the end coming. Highly recommended to all gangland story lovers who enjoy a gripping story with huge amounts of turmoil and a fair amount of violence thrown in. Who is going to win this war? Well you will have to read this epic book and find out.

As a foot note this is Book 3 in the Glass family saga.

The author really is injecting some interesting and dangerous characters into this series. This is a brilliant gangland crime series that is great for those who like a grittier thriller read.

The family concerned is the Glass family, brother Luke took over from his ruthless brother Danny. The sisters have an interest in the legitimate side of the business and while they don't necessarily get on, they are family.

When Nina is caught up in a robbery it is a mystery for the rest of the family to work out why, where and what on earth the robbery had to do with Nina. To say tempers are short and volatile is the understatement of the year as those closest to Nina are trying to act as if all is normal. They still have a business and also a reputation to keep going.

I really like how this series is evolving with new and interesting characters, I say interesting because you are never quite sure how the author's characters are going to react or behave. Some are downright narcissistic, others seem ok and others have the subtle art of deception down to a tee.

Using one of the main characters the way he has with Nina, the author has upped the stakes on the family. Putting Nina and the family in a vulnerable situation has made it possible to see more of their individual characteristics and traits. It also allows the reader a glimpse into how well they control their tempers and emotions. Quite an eye-opener for anyone who is following the series.

As this is very much a gangland crime thriller then you do expect a different level of brutality. There is a fine line between giving enough as far as descriptions go or too much. Thankfully the author knows how to walk this line without crossing it. Descriptions give enough for the reader's mind to add what is not mentioned!

This is an addictive series and yes I do think it needs to be read in order so you get to know the characters and why they are as they are. THis is one for readers who enjoy a more brutal, gritty hard core crime thriller read and this latest book in the series is one I would definitely recommend.

If you mess with the Glass family, don’t expect to live to tell the tale...

Following the disappearance of Danny, the eldest member of the Glass family, life has been going pretty smoothly. Luke is now head of the family and a lot more easy going than his bullish brother. He and Charley, their American sister, who we first met in book two, are now running LBC (The Lucky Bastards Club) named by Danny after the clientele it attracts, with Charley overseeing the ladies that serve the aforementioned clientele, Nina's Glass Houses real estate business is continuing to excel and she's now all loved up with ex-copper Mark Douglas. She decides to get a special present for Mark but gets more than she bargained for after getting caught in the middle of a jewellery heist that goes horribly wrong and the thieves take her hostage, but how will they react when they discover who she is and can Luke track them down and save his sister before it's too late?

This story continues seamlessly from the last book, with the same high octane action that Mullen does best, once again he doesn't hold back with the graphic detail, and there's even more of that in this latest one. It's another dark, gritty thriller following the antics of London's criminal underworld. When I first started book one of this series, I didn't know what to expect, my usual genre is psychological thrillers, not gangland, but I loved it and this series has just gone from strength to strength, Hustle is the third in the Glass family series and Owen Mullen has knocked this one right out of the park! I was completely hooked from the first page and devoured it within a couple of days, another perfectly executed crime thriller from this extremely talented author. I can't wait for book four!!

I'd like to thank Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the approval, I will post my review on Goodreads now and Amazon on publication day.

Nina Glass -- owner of a real estate agency, Glass Houses, is in love with Mark, a disgraced police officer and she is planning a unique gift for him with an old jeweler in London. Mark works for Nina's brother Luke.Nina is one of the four siblings in the Glass crime family and she is featured in this third entry in his Glass Family series, Hustle. The eldest sibling, Danny, has disappeared, leaving next in line Luke to take charge. He opens an exclusive club, with recently discovered Charlie, their American sister who oversees the prostitutes that serve the club goers. The story opens with a robbery of Nina's jeweler when she is present. Things go wrong, she ends up being taken hostage almost as an afterthought. We quickly learn the three young men and one young women don't seem to have a particular plan and are surprised-- but also excited--- that they've taken on such a dangerous package as Nina. They are well-off and looking for thrills. We see various other pressures on the organization that must be addressed with fitting violence to uphold the family's reputation. The story is told well. Some of the characters are well written caricatures but it works I was engaged enough to read to the end and to download a kindle unlimited copy of the first book i this series. Mullen sort of deftly draws his characters as window dressing for the dangers he puts them through for his readers to watch. I don't care about them much at all, yet I'm interested in them. The primary and side stories are entertaining and take some twists and turns that we don't see coming for sure. Very few ends remain loose. There is violence. There is suspense. I ended up liking this enough to borrow the kindle unlimited copy of the first book in the series, " A satisfying read all in al.

Owen Mullen is back with an exhilarating crime thriller guaranteed to keep readers up all night: Hustle.

It was meant to be a run of the mill jewellery heist – until things went awry and in a panic, the thieves ended up making a mistake of titanic proportions: they took a hostage. Only the hostage is no ordinary citizen, but Nina Glass, one of London’s most notorious and most dangerous crime bosses! The thieves are up to their eyeballs in trouble and with no way out, they get desperate. So desperate that they think that they might extort money from Nina’s brother Luke, who naturally isn’t taking his sister’s abduction lightly.

Luke has got other things to worry about other than his sister being held hostage by a gang of hapless thieves. The ransom note he receives from the thieves doesn’t scare him, but he daren’t run the risk of letting them hurt his sister. As if his sister being kidnapped isn’t bad enough, Luke has to contend with crooked cops, shocking discoveries and an unexpected surprise that could destroy everything!

Can the Glass dynasty defeat the many enemies standing in their way and continue to reign supreme over London’s criminal underworld? Or has the time come for them to make way for new blood?

Owen Mullen’s hair-raising and heart-pounding crime thrillers never fail to grab readers’ attention from the very first line and keep them gripped until the final jaw-dropping twist and in Hustle, he has once again penned a gritty and gutsy tale that will have readers frantically turning the pages until the early hours of the morning.

Like a cross between The Sopranos and Succession with a soupçon of Albert Square, Owen Mullen’s Hustle delivers another cracking thriller readers will struggle to put down.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am a huge fan of Owens books after reading the first in the Glass series. Somehow I have missed the second and jumped straight to the third, but that doesnt seem to be an issue in understanding what is going on. There are tiny hints to previous events. Some I recognised from the first book, no doubt some from the second that dont mean anything but will when I read it.
Owen doesnt hold back at all when he delves into the lives of the Glass family and their control over their patch of London, Luke, the calmer of the two brothers after Danny disappeared, but no less ruthless.
The concept of this story is quite interesting however. The young sister of Luke is trying to find her partner a present for Christmas, becomes accidentally involved in a robbery. She is kidnapped by the robbers despite them not knowing who she is. When they discover she is the sister of Luke Glass they realise they've stumbled onto a great opportunity.
The story follows the Glass family and associates as they try and find her, and the dynamic between them, as her boyfriend gets increasingly worried, and realises this is a potentially life changing moment, as he wasnt being entirely honest at the beginning.
There is also the dynamic between the gang, the stress as the stakes get higher, and the stress increases, the loss of control, the in-fighting and back stabbing. It felt like an interesting psychological insight into why people do the things they do when they are under extreme stress.
There are a couple of side stories as well, and as with all of Owen's books, plenty of murder, and crime of any description. Another fanatastic outing for the Glass family, and weirdly made them see more human.

When a gang rob a jewellery store, things don’t go as planned. Leaving two people dead, the thieves decide to grab a customer as hostage. Unfortunately, the hostage turns out to be Nina Glass—sister of gangland boss Luke Glass. But sending Luke the usual ransom demand isn’t quite what this particular gang are into, and disagreement in their ranks doesn’t do them any favours. In the meantime, Luke, along with Nina’s lover Mark, are left with no clues as to Nina’s whereabouts. Even bending the ear of bent copper Oliver Stanford doesn’t help. Can Luke track down the kidnappers before they carry out their threat to kill Nina?

This is book three in the Glass Family series and as with the others, it’s an absolute stonker. This time around, the family not only have to contend with Nina’s abduction but must also deal with a rival gang who seem intent on encroaching on the Glass family’s territory. What I love about this one is the development of the characters, especially the relationship between Nina and Mark, and the troubling issues Mark is forced to deal with. Mr Mullen’s writing is as sharp and witty as always and the underlying humour prevents the story from becoming too mired in murder and mayhem (though there’s plenty of that, too).

I’d thought it might be a bit of a long call to expect the author to come up with something new in the age-old London-gangs type story, but Hustle thrilled me at every turn, and with an ending that left me stunned, I’d have to say this is Owen Mullen’s best work yet.

A riotous rollercoaster ride with shocks and surprises galore.

So the Glass Family series continues...the third book of the series and what a series it is. I can't get enough of the Glass family and their drama and adventures.
This book picks straight up from Insider, the second book in the series. Owen Mullen has expertly woven another story that threw me straight back into the Glass Family's world.
The action starts right from the moment you start reading. This is what this author is excellent at, bringing dark, gritty, and explosive action, along with characters you really need to get to know. Owen Mullen writes all his books as standalone stories, but let me tell you once you delve into the Glass Family's and the underworld they run... You need to read them all.
A series that is known for its graphic violent action scenes anyway and then Hustle was published! I think Owen Mullen doesn't hold back, in fact I would say that he has dialled it all up a few notches! Saying that, it is all perfect for the story.
I was so immersed in this book I polished it off in one day. I just feel I am back with friends when I start a Glass family book. I actually feel for these people and I could see this type of family in Manchester running the criminal underground... that's how real they feel. Anytime I pick up an Owen Mullen book, I am transfixed till the last page.
Hustle had me racing through it to find out what happened as soon as possible; the tension begins right from the start, and doesn't let up throughout. I am so looking forward to the next book as I am so eager to see what's next for the Glass family.

Owen Mullen is a wonderfully descriptive author, who paints very detailed graphic pictures of his characters and locations. Reading Hustle is like being in the cinema watching a gangster movie. Even though this is not my usual genre, I was hooked from the first chapter, sitting on the edge of the seat, waiting in suspense to see if Nina would be rescued. Owen Mullen's genius with storytelling is in getting the reader to connect with his characters and feel an empathy with them.
This is the third of the Glass Family series. Danny was the head of the family in book one. He was a ruthless crime boss and Luke his younger brother did not want to follow in his footsteps. However in Hustle Luke has taken over as head of the family after Danny's disappearance and has become desensitized to the violence that he both sanctions and witnesses. I found some scenes very difficult and I was a bit disappointed with the ending. I didn't expect Nina to beg for protection for Henry in one scene but later refuse to forgive someone much closer to her.
I still prefer private detective thrillers.

Having read and reviewed a variety of thrillers and crime novels, I don't think came across too many heist/mobster reads. Hustle was just that and didn't disappoint. It was as exciting and full of thrill as I imagined it would be.

I loved the story twists in this rollercoaster of a novel! It started nice and steady, but about a third into the book, the story starts developing quickly and really pulls you in! The plot is unpredictable and it really kept me engaged and guessing and rooting for Nina (even though she was part of the Glass mobster clan).

This is Book 3 in the series, but perfectly works as a standalone. This is definitely a page-turner. It gets violent at times, so be prepared. There is so much excitement going on with ransom negotiations, escape attempts, love story between Nina and Mark, Glass family's head of security, and so much more. 4.5/5 ⭐ from me!

Life is good now for the Glass family. Luke’s club LBC (Lucky Bastard Club} is doing really well and the club is always packed out. Nina Glass her real estate business is too well too, and Glass family business is moving closer to being fully legit. Nina decides to give a special Christmas present to her partner Mark Douglas and ex- copper now in the family business. So, she visits a jeweller in Poland street only to get mixed up in an armed robbery. Which she ends up taken hostage.
When the gang find out who Nina is they think that they can get one over Luke Glass. The members of the gang come from privileged background. So, they have no idea what Luke is like. But they are soon to find out?
Hustle is the third book in The Glass family saga and WOW what a great book it is. The series just gets better and better. This is another suspenseful thriller and quite brutal in places. This is book 3 in the Glass Family series which features the Glass Family and their hold on gangland London. Reads well as a stand-alone. A dark and graphic story with no holds barred.

Briefly, the story starts with a hold up at a jewellery shop which ends up with two people murdered and Nina Glass ( sister of the boss Luke) kidnapped and taken as hostage. Believing they have the upper hand the kidnappers, who are high on cocaine, decide to send Luke a ransom demand. At the same time the family are having to deal with other villains who think they are owed by Luke. There is also an ongoing situation with a corrupt copper. Needless to say Luke decides that he has to deal with these dangerous idiots as he cannot show weakness to the other gangs. So begins a trail of bodies in an effort for the family to survive.

Not a book for the squeamish as some of the scenes are explicit but overall a very good read. Action packed and fast paced it’s a gripping read. 4.5⭐️

I’m a big fan of this series and a big fan of this author, so it was a pretty easy decision for me to say yes to reviewing Hustle. This can be read as a standalone, but I think you should read the whole series. You really get to know these characters as you read, and while there’s enough to understand reading just Hustle, you’ll be missing out on a fantastic series!
I love this author’s use of description. It’s never so overdone it gets hard to read. There is enough given so that I feel like I’m part of the story and my mind is able to fill in the rest. It makes the book fast paced and easy to get lost in, which is why I read.
Hustle is a gangland, crime thriller that had me on the edge of my seat for the majority of the book. I love all the characters. The writing was excellent. I would definitely recommend checking this one out.

This book opens up with a jewelry heist and from then on does not let up. Even the moments where you think it is downtime it is not really because you know that something is getting ready to happen. On the day of the heist, the thieves take a hostage the woman is Nina Glass, the sister to Luke Glass head of the crime family. Besides Luke looking for his sister, there is an undercover officer in their mist, along with other corruption going on. There is fighting among the thieves and just fighting altogether. Yet still, from the beginning to the end each turn has something different to add and also a different surprise as well. When you get to the end you still are not ready and yet that has some twists as well. A very good book, with really good characters. Very much worth the read.
I received this book from Netgalley.com

This is a typical gangster book with a powerful family facing threats. Words like ‘copper’ are used often. I don’t normally read gangster books so this was a change for me. It’s always interesting to read a different genre. If this is your genre, you will enjoy this book. It has family, sex, fighting, kidnapping, overconfident criminals, what else could you want? As I mentioned, this is the third book in the series and I would recommend reading the others in the series first. The author does include a helpful cast of characters at the beginning of the book as a reference to the reader. I found it very helpful.

Wow Owen Mullen has done it again the best in the series so far fast paced and brilliant.
Nina Glass is taken hostage after a robbery where two men are killed.
The robbers see it as an easy to make money and set themselves up for life.
They know Luke Glass will surely pay anything to get his sister back, but do they really know who they are messing with because Luke will stop at nothing to find them and they will pay badly for messing with his family.
Look forward to the next installment in the series.
Thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood books for the ARC

Hustle by Owen Mullen.
The Glass Family Book 3.
A brilliant read. Brutal and gory. I loved it.
I loved Nina. I loved the cover too. I hope there is more to come. 5*. Highly recommended.

This is book 3 in the Glass family series and the best yet. When Nina is kidnapped in a jewellery robbery gone wrong, Luke must pull out all the stops to find his sister. This is fast paced with excellent characterisation and a good plot. I loved the character of Mark, his worry over the missing Nina, and I was hooked from the beginning to the unexpected ending. i would recommend reading the previous books for background information. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.
