The enemy of your enemy is not always your friend.
Four months after the destruction of Jacksonville and the Lustrators, Ryan Frey finds himself in a life of domestic bliss. He, his brother, and his husband live in a huge cabin near the woods next to the thriving town of New Homestead. Life couldn’t be more perfect.
But something lurks in the forest around them. A distant relative of the Lustrators, these new Runners can hunt, hide, and attack with the intelligence of the very humans they consume.
Caught amid a terrifying feud between the Lustrators and the remaining government in Tallahassee, Ryan is forced to choose to save his town or save his family before they are both destroyed.
Book 2 kept me on the edge of my seat as the author took the characters I came to love in book one on a wild ride.
I couldn’t put it down... I laughed, I swooned, I bit my fingernails, and I cried. Archer ripped my heart heart out and stomped on it, but in a good way.
Can’t wait to see what’s next. Definitely a must read!!
