Seven scorching stories…

What happens when your deepest fantasy — the one you crave most — comes true?

A busy lawyer longs to be disciplined by her crush. A tease acts out her ultimate fantasy with a group of guys. And spying on a sexy neighbor leads to trouble — in the best way.

Boundaries are shattered between strangers at a silent retreat, while a shy girl yearns to be taught by a dominant older man. The singer in an all-girl punk band lusts after a virginal guitarist. And in a spin on the Big Bad Wolf, Christina begs her fiancé Patrick to unleash his inner beast on their wedding night.

Crave is a 40,000 word collection of naughty, dirty, steamy stories. Perfect for a bite-sized treat before bed — or any time.

"The Wedding and the Wolf" features characters from the book Priceless, but can be read as a standalone.

Note: this book includes light BDSM, Daddy kink/roleplay, reverse harem, bondage, erotic humiliation, and spanking, as well as steamy vanilla encounters.

Hot. Erotic. & Proceeds to a good cause.

Just a bunch of hot erotic short stories. The last story is a catch up with Christina and Patrick from her book Priceless. It can be read standalone from the original book, but I recommend that as well. If you want some quick and hot reads, where the money you pay is going to a good cause then pick this one up.

Eh. Just straight porn. I was hoping the last story would add something swoony to the Priceless HEA but it was just more of the same, adding nothing worthwhile. Bummer. It’s billed as erotica though, so I’ll give it a neutral 3-stars.

I have no idea as to the safety, since I didn’t finish any of the stories. They were all pretty cringe.

What a perfect collection!

I loved each and every one of these stories. From the crazy fantasy that becomes reality with the lacrosse team to the ex-babysitter to the update on Priceless, these stories are individually and collectively delightful.
Highly recommended.

A book of smutty novellas. I skipped a few that weren’t my speed but was really surprised by how enjoyable these were. The author did a good job of capturing the characters chemistry and intimacy in such short scenes.

Miranda Silver never disappoints!! WOW, she has a way of creating scenes I didn’t know I needed!!
Powerful, Passionate, Tantalizing and more these short stories are perfect for when you want a little steam!!
My only criticism is the fact I wish there were more!
The added bonus if you’ve read Priceless you get the extended epilogue; which cemented all the reasons I love Christina and Patrick!!
If this is your opener to Miranda Silver you are getting an all access pass to the all-consuming and purely unadulterated stamina that is to come.

Edit: because I finally read Priceless, I came back and read the extended epilogue. Just like the rest of the stories, it was great, and I loved reading more about Christina and Patrick🤧

This was soo good. Miranda knows how to write really good short stories! I hope she writes more in the future.

(I read everything except the last story because I haven't read yet Priceless, so when I do, I will come back to this and read it)

I read these when they were part of the free online series, and I was completely hooked! It's a collection of stories where there's a little bit of something for everyone. I mostly looked forward to the publication for the Priceless story since I had read the rest (minus Breath of Angels which I enjoyed a lot!). If you fell in love with Patrick and Christina you definitely want to read this story, I loved having a glimpse into their life a few years after their semester together.

There isn't much to say about Crave since it is exactly what it promises to be: a sexy short story collection. As with every anthology some stories are better than others and in each one we get a kind of happily ever after or at least a second date which I liked.
But sadly, and I don't know if it was my mindset while reading or the book itself, it just didn't do it for me.
However, if you like Miranda Silver's writing and her usual storylines you will probably enjoy Crave as well.

Crave is 7 short stories of filthy, dirty goodness! There is a range of troupes, but all are jam packed with hot and sexy moments! The last story is about Patrick and Christina, who I absolutely loved in Priceless. Loved getting caught up with them!

I picked this one up to specifically read The Wedding and the Wolf for Patrick and Christina's (from Priceless) epilogue. And I decided to stay for the others too.

My favorite from the anthology was definitely The Wedding and the Wolf, second favorite would be All the Things You Are. The others were kind of meh overall.

You can see my review for each book below:

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Daddy Issues (3 stars)
(Read 11/21/2023 to 11/21/2023)
Kinks and Tropes Included: Neighbor, Mutual Pining, DD/lg, Dirty Talk

Kori can't sleep because her neighbor James is having very loud sex. She's feeling turned on...and a little jealous of the girl he's with. So she decides to poke at him a bit to see what he does.

I liked this one alright. Pretty hot but also very short so not very much going on development-wise. Both Kori and her neighbor James claim to have had crushes on each other already (off-page), so that moved their relationship forward faster.

Overall a hot DD/lg kink quickie. I liked it alright.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

All the Things You Are (4 stars)
(Read 11/21/2023 to 11/21/2023)
Kinks and Tropes Included: Friends to Lovers, Gang Bang, Sharing, Mild FemDom

Alana has had a fantasy about giving blowjobs to all the guys on the lacrosse team. And when she admits this fantasy to her friend Damian (who is also on the lacrosse team), he sets out to make her fantasy (at least partially) come true.

This was hot! I'm not normally a fan of gang bang erotica. I love reverse harems and menages, but as long as there's an emotional connection with all the guys. With gang bang erotica it's less personal for most of the guys so I'm not as much of a fan of those.

But I enjoyed this one. I liked that Damian really wanted to make her fantasy come true. I loved the friends to lovers trope. And I loved that all the guys (five total) were really into it. It was just hot. Loved it.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Trouble (3.5 stars)
(Read 11/21/2023 to 11/21/2023)
Kinks and Tropes Included: Neighbor, FMC is Older Than MMC, Voyeurism/Exhibitionism

At twenty-six, Ella is back home after being dumped by her fiancé. She's devastated and depressed. Until she notices her neighbor, Jake. She used to babysit Jake when he was a kid. But now that he's twenty-one, sexy, and ripped, that five year age difference doesn't seem so big anymore.

I enjoyed this one. I loved cocky Jake and the way he lures Ella to him with his little show. The sex was also steamy and hot.

My one issue is the HFN instead of HEA for them. It wasn't really clarified if they were just going to keep fooling around or get serious and I would've liked something more for closure.

Overall though, still pretty hot. I liked it.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Disturbing The Peace (2.5 stars)
(Read 11/21/2023 to 11/21/2023)
Kinks and Tropes Included: Strangers

Jocelyn is at a silent retreat. Everyone is to remain silent and celibate during the duration of the retreat. But one guy keeps distracting her, and she seems to be distracting him too. So one night they decide to break the rules to be together.

Kind of a weird one. Not sure why they're on a retreat that they have to remain silent for. But I suppose it's some meditation thing or something.

Not much character development or talking (for obvious reasons). The sex was okay. I'm giving it an extra half a star because it's definitely different.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Teach Me (2.5 stars)
(Read 11/21/2023 to 11/21/2023)
Kinks and Tropes Included: Age Gap, Teacher/Student

Mia is studying abroad in London, where she is trying to step out of her shell and be more brave about living life. So when she meets a man who is older than her (by twenty years) online, he agrees to teach her more about sex and she's excited to learn. But when they finally meet, they both realize they already know each other -- he's her college English professor from last year.

Meh. Just okay. Nothing really very exciting about this one. I liked the age gap and discovering he's her professor. But the sex was very vanilla and boring.

Overall just a little too boring for me.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Breath of Angels (2 stars)
(Read 11/21/2023 to 11/21/2023)
Kinks and Tropes Included: FMC is Famous Musician, Hero is Virgin, FMC is Older Than MMC

Kate and her band had to find a last minute opening act -- a young musician who is totally outside their music genre. But despite their differences, Kate is enamored with him the moment he starts singing. And she wants to make him hers.

This was my least favorite from the anthology for several reasons. First, I'm not a huge fan of musician romances, especially where the woman is the famous musician. I don't know why, it just doesn't do it for me. Secondly, I don't like the the older more experienced kind of dominant FMC trope. Ben sounds like a little an innocent little puppy. Not my thing. Lastly, I didn't really feel the chemistry between them other than being told it's there. It all felt very forced.

Overall, just not a fan of this one at all.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

The Wedding and the Wolf (4.5 stars)
(Read 11/21/2023 to 11/21/2023)
Kinks and Tropes Included: Wedding Night, Humiliation/Degradation, Rough Sex, Role Play, Dirty Talk

An epilogue about Christina and Patrick (from Priceless) that takes place after they've been together for about 2-1/2 years and are now getting married.

I loved this! Patrick and Christina have grown so much individually and as a couple. I love that they can now be both sweet and dirty together. They can be whatever the other needs. I love that Christina says Patrick is both her teddy bear and wolf. So cute!

Overall a great epilogue for these two. Sexy and steamy and a super sweet HEA. Loved!

Honestly it was a little hard to get into this book... It's a collection if short stories but they were WAY too short for me.. They are really a bunch of separate "scenes" - a teaser really. Don't get me wrong, the scenes themselves are good but there wasn't a whole lot of build up or back story so the prelude to the act just kinda fell flat and there was no story after that. It was basically "here's the characters, sex, then HEA" Not enough actual story to hook me.

Crave by Miranda Silver is a collection of seven erotica short stories, the last story (The Wedding And The Wolf) is an epilogue for Miranda Silver's other book Priceless.

I picked up this book right after I had finished Priceless and had intended just to read the last story but then I decided I might as well read the entire book. The first few stories didn't really grip me and were a little slow but when I got Trouble I started to like them more and quickly read the last few stories.
The writing in this book was just as good as it was in Priceless and the smut is really well done. Overall, I enjoyed my time reading this book and I will be reading some of Miranda Silver's other work in the future.

This first story was only about 22
pages and the only reason I didn't like it very much is because I'm not the biggest fan of daddy kinks so it wasn't my cup of tea. This one is my least favorite out of the seven stories.

All The Things You Are-
Plot:⭐⭐⭐/5
Characters:⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Romance:⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall:⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

I enjoyed the second story in Crave a lot more than the first one, it was really well written and was very hot. It also had a romance developing throughout the story that I really enjoyed. I felt like we got some good romance and character development for such a short story. This story comes in as my third favorite out of the seven stories.

Trouble-
Plot:⭐⭐⭐/5
Characters:⭐⭐⭐/5
Romance:⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall:⭐⭐⭐/5
Spice:🌶️🌶️/5

This is the third story in Crave and I enjoyed it. I don't have a lot to say about this one, it was enjoyable to read and it definitely was steamy. This is my sixth favorite out of the seven.

Disturbing The Peace-
Plot:⭐⭐/5
Characters:⭐⭐⭐/5
Romance:⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall:⭐⭐⭐/5
Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Disturbing The Peace is the fourth story in Crave and it's the smallest, coming in at 11 pages. Unlike the stories before, which have a small amount of character development, this one has none. This story just dives right into the smut and I actually enjoy this one, it was very intriguing to me and I would honestly love to know more about the characters. Overall, Disturbing The Peace comes in as my fourth favorite out of the seven stories.

Teach Me-
Plot:⭐⭐⭐/5
Characters:⭐⭐⭐/5
Romance:⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall:⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Teach Me is the fifth story in Crave, I was very happy to see that this was an age gap romance that didn't involve a daddy kink! I like the amount of romance and character development that was in this story, I felt like I had a decent amount of knowledge of who the characters are. Overall, I enjoyed this story and it comes in at five out of the six books in Crave.

Breath Of Angels-
Plot:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Characters:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Romance:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Breath Of Angels is the sixth story in Crave and my favorite out of all of them. I absolutely LOVED this story, I loved the amount of plot and character development it had and I adored the romance in this one. I felt like the story was unlike all the other ones and I absolutely loved the setting of the story and I felt like the plot was really well done. Honestly I would love a full length novel about these characters.

The Wedding And The Wolf-
Plot:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Characters:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Romance:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

The Wedding And The Wolf is the seventh and final story in Crave and the reason I picked up this book in the first place. The Wedding And The Wolf is an epilogue to Miranda Silver's other book Priceless which I recently read. I really enjoyed this short story, it was nice to see what happens with Christina and Patrick after the ending of Priceless. We don't get alot of domestic moments between them in Priceless due to the fact that they get together at the end of the book so I absolutely loved getting to see them as a fully established couple and I loved being able to read about their wedding. Overall, I felt that this was a great addition to the priceless story and really enjoyed it. It comes in as my second favorite out of the seven stories.

4.5 fast, hot, consuming, sexy little stars

To be clear, I don't like short stories.
They're oftentimes disjointed, outrageous, collections from various authors rarely develop the shorts well enough to suck you in before the next one and most of the stories suck.
In a bad way.
This book gets it right. No monumentally ridiculous plots. No story where suspension of disbelief is required. Just hot, sometimes sweet, but always well written, ieasily believable, relatable, erotic little tales. I didn't skim once.
Oddly enough the last story was the weakest- it's the one that revisits Christine and her fiancee, and I think it didn't quite live up to their previous interactions in their standalone story.
Plus she was still bending over backwards to accommodate her parents, which as an adult- is a firm no for me. But other than that (strictly personal annoyance) this was fantastic.
If you want a hot distraction, with characters you'll enjoy, and pages that will be difficult to put down- get this yesterday lol

A sexy compilation of 7 little erotic stories filled with different people, kinks and situations and a continuation of Patrick and Christina's story from Priceless. ❤️

I have to say I really enjoyed this book. Unfortunately, I really want all of the stories extended and now I will keep thinking about all of them! I don't enjoy porn without a plot in books but each of these stories had a lot of context and you got to know the characters at least a little bit. I enjoyed all of the stories a lot, if I had to choose, my top 3 would be Trouble, Teach Me and The Wedding and The Wolf, but I didn't love the others much less.

When it comes to the last story I really loved how it was done. The open ending of Priceless was one of the reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars and this book delivered on that front. The thing I loved about it the most was the nod to the Priceless book when Christina wanted her first time to be with the big bad wolf and Patrick gave that to her on their wedding night. 🥵🥵🥵

Favorite Quote: "You're my tempation, Christina." I whispered. "My guilty pleasure. Nothing else will ever match that. All I want is you."

After I finished Priceless, I knew I had to read another Miranda silver book, because the smut in that book was just THAT good. Therefore once I found out Patrick and Christina would have a short story in this along with six other short stories I knew I had to catch a read.

All I can say is that Miranda Sliver knows how to write smut. I didn't love this that much to be honest but what did I expect as it was just smut scenes, but on the rate of the smut scenes I loved them and enjoyed them.

Of course my favorite was the Christina and Patrick's story, gosh the way I love them and wish there was more of them.

In all this was short, sweet and SEXY.

Again, another book lingering on my currently reading shelf that I finished eons ago.

I loved this collection by Miranda Silver. It was the perfect amount of short stories and smut that I needed at the time after a long while not finding a book that was capable of holding my interest from start to finish. I actually feel bad that I have not been able to review each story as I had initially planned.

I had two favourites in the collection. One I cannot remember, the other was the final story, Patrick and Christina, and it made me interested in getting their book. I would definitely recommend the book.

Did I read this just so I can read the chapter about Patrick and Christina only? Yes. That was my plan, but I found out I have a type and my type is whatever character Miranda Silver writes because oh my fucking god this heavenly woman can write the most perfect men I have ever read. She writes them and wouldn't you know it, I am inlove.

THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER PATRICK.
I am willing to start a petition for Patrick to be the OG and the only Christian Grey. Gosh he is just perfect.
