They say that in space, no one can hear you...
(Yeah, you know what I'm quoting.)
But there are lots of places you can still scream and be heard. Especially if you suddenly find yourself on a ship traveling through space.
I’ve been abducted by aliens and auctioned to an alien pirate.
My epic love of movies sort of comes in handy, what with all the sci-fi suddenly in my face. Therefore, I don’t completely lose my mind when my new owner takes me to his ship where I learn I’m under the control of not one, but *five* space pirates.
(...And it’s not scary at all when I only meet four of them, and everyone warns me away from the mystery fifth alien.)
Luckily, they’re not deterred by the fact that I've come to them carrying a passenger.
I’m pregnant.
Last I saw my ex, he was hell-bent on giving me another beating I wouldn’t forget. But with my new 'owners,' I’m safe for the first time in a long time--and so is my little girl. Not that everything is all raindrops on roses, and innocent kittens: they’re pirates. They’ve got a real addiction to plundering, and a passion for purloining.
I’m pretty fond of the former, but when it comes to the thieving, I’m afraid they’re going to take more than my body.
...Piece by piece, all five of my pirates are stealing my *heart.*

**Note: Beth’s Stable is a standalone Reverse Harem romance where five men woo one woman. They’re space pirates, but there are no crossed energy sabers in this story. There is a Happily Ever After. You should probably be at least 18 if you crack open this ebook because Beth would hate to corrupt you. (Although if her pirates had met you before they grew completely, totally devoted to her, they would have loved showing you the ropes. Sorry, doves!) ;D

Loved everything about this one (Beth, movie quotes, the guys' personalities) EXCEPT: the treatment of the trafficked women. It's a trope that (unfortunately) comes up again and again in romance novels in which the hero shows loyalty to the heroine by being mean/standoffish to sex workers. In this case,

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

they rescue a ship of extremely abused sex workers so they can take them to a planet where they will be safe. Beth's response at first is to growl at them for being too close to one of the guys and in another scene, one of the women broke into a guy's room to steal. Now, despite being a pirate himself and spending a bunch of time talking about how much his species loves to steal shit, he is really rough/aggressive with her. I know it's a book and there should be some suspended belief but I WISH there was more compassion for sex workers in these stories. Why be angry with them for trying to seduce the guys? They had literally been taught that was their only way to survive, of course they are going to try to do whatever they can to be safe. She's taking the word of space pirates that the men on the new planet will care for her... do you honestly blame her for stealing a few pieces of jewelry in case she needs some income independent of a man? Sorry, I know this is a niche rant, I just wish (especially in these books which are often written for women, by women) we could find some more kindness for sex workers and victims of trafficking

I’ve enjoyed most of the books in this series with the exception of book 4 with Dohrein and Gracie.
I had really high expectations for this addition to the series because I enjoyed hearing of Ekan in the previous books, even if I didn’t like the things I had heard about Beth.
I simply couldn’t bring myself to rate this book any higher because of the lack of depth, lack of explanations and conversations.
(Some possible spoilerish content to justify rating. Even though you kinda already know she’s with these guys if you read the other series books.)
Beth- Still didn’t much care for her in this book. She’s just okay. She wasn’t overly funny or unique. Just normal and sometimes b*tchy.
Why wasn’t one of the first things she did was ask for food, water and for gosh sake, TAKE A SHOWER ASAP once on the ship. There was just some questionable hygiene practices or lack there of. Also, how in the heck were those bra things and skirt comfortable constantly, especially while she was pregnant? I kept wanting her to just ask for a freaking tee shirt from one of the guys.
I didn’t care for her timid scare moments due to being in a previous abusive relationship. I’ve been in one and I know others who have too. When you meet a new guy / guys like a Beth did you can be afraid of actions at first. But usually once a level of trust forms that jumpy behavior eases off. Unless Beth’s abuse was so substantial? But there were never any details given and nothing to ever say she had to seek medical treatment from her exes abuse.
Which leads me to one of my biggest complaints about this book. WHERE was the curiosity, the questions, the conversations about her past? Why was there never a discussion about her ex in the book? Sure, there’s some revenge at the end. But it wasn’t even all that satisfying because we never got to read her telling the guys anything about her past. And it was frankly just disappointing that we never got any real learning of Beth by the guys or her asking them questions. It was like okay there’s a human here now, carry on.
I couldn’t get over how she didn’t say that she needed to meet Qolt ASAP too so she wouldn’t be as fearful of the mystery guy.
Why didn’t she demand this?
Why did they ever have a conversation about mating practices for Na’riths? Ekan said they’d talk about it. But then it didn’t happen in the book.
Why didn’t ALL the guys mate lock, but one of two did? But they’re all her mates? But those could technically cheat if they so desired without getting bad vibes?
We never even got a real penetration sex scene with her and Ekan. For all we know, have they even for sure? It seems it by the end of the book. But we didn’t get to read about it.
And it pissed me off that she wasn’t more affectionate or receptive to Ekan. He basically saved her, even if at first he bought her. And they had formed a bond. So for her to have sex with another of her mates first, after we spent basically the first third of the book with her and Ekan was majorly disappointing. And I felt like she betrayed Ekan even by seeking another first.
It also felt weird how they all kept separate rooms. And heads up, there is NO group sex. Which I found odd for a reverse harem. Normally RH has group scenes which are usually super hot, but also makes it so everyone is included. This book kept all the sex scenes individually to just Beth and one male. So in a way, it was giving me a she’s cheating vibe since they didn’t really form unit activities.
I liked Ekan and Qolt the best. T, Q and P were just okay.
Felt the book spent too much time with them heehawing around before any actual intimacy took place. No real significant events on the ship before her delivery. I was hoping for more activity and sexual encounters in the book for AFTER she had had the kid and could move around comfortably again.
Those are some of my real knit picky issues with the book.
But there were some really funny moments between the guys at times. And I adored Ekan and Qolt. Ekan’s personality was addictive.

Guyyyys. I have loved loved LOVED this series since book 1 and my fangirl squeal-fest doesn't look to be ending any time soon. And, yeah, we know that Beth finds her happy place with her five guys because of previous books, but it's the journey, not the destination, right? *giddy sigh*

That said, I grew to love Ekan's over the top personality and ability to drag normally sane people into outrageous situations, but I was a little appalled at his actions when we first met. Frankly, Beth was a trooper for playing along as he "sold" her again and again while relying on his fabulous luck to get her back.

For the record, the idea of a luck source is so freaking FUN. The dude is crazy and he knows it and IT TOTALLY WORKS FOR HIM!

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! Because Na'rith crewmates bond to one female and Beth is their one. So not only does she get slightly crazy Ekan, but she also gets Oquilion, Tiernan, Prow, and Qolt. And, BOY, does she end up liking that.

Highly enjoyable (as have been all the books in this series) and full of crazy space pirates with a highly developed acquisitive streak. Because, you know, they're pirates.

I have no idea who's up next on the series docket, but I'm 100% ready to find out. Yessssss.

I had to force myself to finish it and I love scifi alien romance (and quite a few RH).

She spends 1/3 of the book quoting movie/TV shows and other books. If you don't follow visual stories, you will frustrated and annoyed because her inner ramblings is just that.

I don't want to read about other things. Maybe have a favorite quote from a movie.... Fine... But the first 1/3 of the book has a quote/reference from something else every page in Beth's prospective... I know cause I checked.

Ekan was too much. It is clear he was made to add humor. Her time with Quil was over the top.

We spent the first 20% w/just Ekan and he spent the whole book trying to hide her from the other guys. Basically Beth is treated like she a product... A stolen/bought product the whole time to be passed along to each member of the crew and then didn't meet Quil until 50%, where he basically claims he has the right to her cause he is a part of the crew too... When they actually get together, it is basically forced on Beth because of this.

Also peeing in the guys beds... Really? Really? Why does she need to pee on four of the guys beds... And go along with it?

I miss the magic in books 1 thru 3. They got me into alien romance.

The last 3 books have been sad - and repeating the same spots in the timeline is getting old. Ruby Dixon has/d this same issue. I don't need 5 books repeating the same events in a different POV.

Idk. I hope she goes back to her roots cause this book almost turned me off of her. If the next book has another female quoting something or just dumb, I am tapping out. I kinda feel like she wrote this book because RH is popular not because she wanted to.

This one often had me shaking my head. The men were like a bunch of pank pulling teenagers, always wanting to get a good one on their crewmate and often used Beth as a way to pull the pranks. At times Beth played into things helping the guys, laughing as much as they did. I liked how each Alien was so different, each of them giving Beth something she needed in her life. Her ending up with them ended up being the adventure of her lifetime, one she enjoyed and relished.

4.6 stars.
First off. That opening line was hilarious and immediately set the whole mood of the book for me. I was cackling basically the whole time, and I loved it.
My one gripe is that I wash there was more smut and that includes a group scene thrown in because there was nary a one.
But otherwise, I loved every minute of this book. It was so entertaining and felt like it moved at lightning speed because of all the fun quips and jokes.
I wish this author had some other rh books out.

Too ridiculous for my tastes.
Plus, started straight away with the whole, body betraying trope. Even worse then the guy being an A-hole, this was a potential slave buyer, planing who knows what with her, but she’s gonna stand there drooling and be more concerned with her vagina?
After skipping 4 pages ahead, and we’re still ogling, yeeaaah, I can find something better suited 🤣😂

Sooo good!!

I’ve loved all these stories and Beth’s is another great read! I love how each story the world grows more and more and the woman are so diverse and amazing! I really can’t wait for the next book!!!

Wow!!! Beth’s Stable was a phenomenal read and without sounding cheesy, was a glorious addition to the series. I enjoyed all the books aside from #4, which I just couldn’t get into at the time. I had no such problems with this book and was immediately sucked in and enamoured. When we first meet Beth she’s extremely pregnant, locked in a cage and relieved to be an alien prisoner. Having an abusive ex will do that to a woman and considering she isn’t sold to rapists or bug aliens, she doesn’t end up in a bad situation. I’d say this is more of a slow burn romance. There’s attraction and sexual tension, but Beth’s aliens are all about pleasing her and letting her make the moves. I loved each of her guys but have a soft spot for Ekan, who is the first of her mates we meet and the one who purchases her incidentally. Ekan literally made this book hilarious for me. He brought about some serious laugh out loud moments and his antics from his and Beth’s first interaction do not disappoint. This book is more relationship based. There’s no huge threat or enemy thrown in and the biggest obstacle th group faces is Beth’s delivery. Given none know a thing about human births and this is Beths first child, tensions get high. Beth is surely one lucky lady though because she found herself a group of space pirates who are driven to please her and only her. I mean they will literally rob a planet blind if it held something Beth even mentioned. I guess you could say I’m slightly jealous of Beth lol. This book will work as a stand-alone because I did find it a little separated from the other books in the series. Most likely because of the low threat level and more jovial theme throughout. Sure we see some of the darker side of outer space but for th most part Beth is sheltered, spoiled and wants for nothing. I absolutely loved this book and plan to recommend it to all my alien loving friends, everyone needs a good read once in awhile and this will not disappoint.

DNF @ 68 % (Some spoilers that aren't integral to the plot)

I dozed off so much while reading this book that I ended up not understanding what I was reading. So I decided to re-read it from the very beginning. I don't know why I did that because it was so obvious that the book just wasn't working for me, then. Note that I said for me because I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority here.

This book is very peculiar and unconventional. I don't really know how else to describe it. The heroine was okay but weird with her incessant need to quote movie trivias. It got to the point that it became so distracting. I also did not get how the heroine, who was a domestic violence victim, could be so relaxed around her captors. There was the initial apprehension and caution but she got over it pretty quickly.

The heroes were uninteresting to me and one of them was nothing more than a child high on sugar. They're also just plain weird sometimes. There was a scene between the men where the men were passing off the heroine between each other so she could pee on their bed. And not in a sexual way too, just FYI. It was a prank. Like I said, weird. What's even weirder was the heroine finding the whole thing not weird. She even said it made her feel closer with the men, made her feel included.

By then I just stopped being interested in the book. Even at 68%, the story wasn't picking up. We were served with just the day-to-day interaction between the characters. It was boring. I don't know. Maybe I'm just close-minded? You let me know.

Rating: 5 Stars
Format: Audiobook
Source: Audible
Triggers: kidnapping, pregnancy

TL;DR Synopsis:
♡ RH alien romance
♡ Part of a series (can be read as a standalone, but trust me, you want to read the rest of the series)
♡ Pregnant heroine
♡ Worshipping pirate alien heroes
♡ Hilarious
♡ Great audiobook

I have been waiting somewhat impatiently for the audiobook for this to come out and I IMMEDIATELY abandoned my TBR to pick this up the moment I found out it became available.
Nick Cracknell solidified his spot as one of my all time favorite male narrators several books ago, but this book just confirmed it. He had to do so many distinctive accents for all of the characters in this book and he nailed it.

And let me just tell you, the first time he spoke in his low hero voice, I almost died.

ANYWAY, as far as the story, this book was so wonderfully indulgent. Beth is surrounded by heroes that fall into so many glorious tropes who are obsessed with her and it’s the best thing ever. And when I tell you they all bring different wonderful traits to the table (or bed) … I just… I…
Just read it. (But, like, not if you are new to the genre. Maybe start with Ice Planet Barbarians and work your way to this one.)

Borrowed through KU.

I had a lot of problems with characters, plot, and overall story flow for this one. The chapters felt choppy at times and we'd skip from one event that felt unresolved to start something new, that's one of the biggest problems I had as far as story flow, along with the fact that it felt way too long. I think a lot could have been cut and it would have been all the better for it.

As far as characters go, I didn't feel a strong connection to really any of these characters. And then there's one member of the harem we aren't properly introduced to until a pretty good distance into the story. The last major issue is the plot. Because a lot of the bigger happenings in this plot also happen in other books in the series, so they take place concurrently, there weren't any big shocks. This was entirely about the connection between characters, which I think could have been stronger.

But, I did enjoy parts of this story. I definitely remember laughing and smirking at some of the great dialogue Milo gives us.

All in all, Milo's writing style didn't work for me in Beth's Stable. There were some scenes that kept me reading though.

I absolute adored this one! I was a little worried in the beginning with Ekan and his antics, but it all turned out in the end.

Amanda did a great job handling all five of these handsome pirates. Sometimes with reverse harem novels, authors don’t give each character enough time for us to get to know all of them equally, but Amanda gave them all very diverse personalities and pulled it off really well.

Beth was a really great character as well. It really felt like her and her guys were the perfect match.

I know I say this for all of Amanda’s books, but I can’t wait for the next one!!!

I love this series. So wonderful :)

A bunch of human women are abducted from earth and sold on an auction planet. This is the story of one of the ladies. She ends up with 5 ‘space pirates’ from a race of aliens that are well known for being great thieves.

So sweet and fun. The guys prank each other and steal Beth from one another as often as possible.

Oh yeah - Beth is preggo.
HILARIOUS scenes involving her sneeze-peeing.

HFN
Absolutely recommended.

I've decided to bump this to 5 stars based on the amount of times I have listened to it and how often it has entertained me.

This book isn't deep, dramatic, brilliant. What it is...is super sweet, fun, with well developed characters. The story is solid and entertaining but it isn't super original or ground breaking. This book reminds be of a good cup of hot choc while wearing your favorite clothes. Familiar and relaxing.

Space pirates and why choose should be stamped with my name on the cover, but this one missed me.

Complaints-
There was so much inconsistency with Beth's characterization that I ranted to spouse for ten minutes. I did not get to watch people fall in love. I think the author and I both forgot that the FMC was heavily pregnant several times. Qolt and his channelling of Zade Meadows gave me the ick.

Praises-
The piratey shenanigans were top notch. The method of mate sharing was awesome and the first 40% or so of this one was fantastic. The end picked up quite a bit.

I almost didn't read this based on other reviews but gave in.

Things I enjoyed in no particular order
a) Learning about the Na'rith race
b) Creator bless Tiernan. If this wasn't a reverse harem, I would have been rooting for Tiernan all the way. His character was a good call to help even out the chaos of the other four's constant squabbling and fighting. Had his character not been included or been more like the other guys, I think the book would have had an overall different tone.
c) Finally getting to see the magic behind Beth's Stable and how they all get along (or annoy the shit out of each other as a love language)
d) Getting to learn and see a bit more about Pasutha, the Aneark
e) Ekan killing a dendro who absolutely deserves it
f) The baby (post-birth) and how all five guys were instantly in love with her and claimed her as their own
g) The eventual reverse harem - it was actually kind of nice, all things considered with the Na'rith level of chaos and everything
h) The rescue and matchmaking on Vfayr
i) Every interaction with other Na'rith ships

Points of frustration:
a) Is it just me or is Beth weirdly calm and accepting about everything from the start? There didn't seem to be any real panic, anxiety, or adjustment from her like I would expect one to be in her situation. She wasn't established as the kind of person that viciously shoves that shit down to deal with later or tries to always roll with it so it felt just... strangely absent. She was kind of bland in general to be honest. If I had to describe her personality, I would struggle.
b) WHY IS BETH NOT WEARING CLOTHES. I refuse to call the fabric items she was wearing clothes. I kept expecting at some point for her to finally turn to the guys and go "hey actually? this isn't that comfortable, what's a girl gotta do to get a loose shirt and some comfy sweatpants around here?" but that moment never happens.
c) I was prepared for an overwhelming number of movie references and while there are a great number, there weren't as many as I feared there would be. It's the worst in the beginning but seems to level out to a more palatable level for the remainder of the book.
d) The 50 million epilogues (okay - only 9 - but that's at least 8 too many) - They could have just been brief time skip chapters at the end of the book.

Things I couldn't stand:
a) Qolt's first meeting with Beth - that was hella dubious wtf? There could have been a little more in there to suggest Beth was definitely on board.
b) Ekan in the first 130 pages or so. What. an. ass. I also personally have a very strong issue with manipulation and Ekan is just a total manipulative self-centered smarmasaur for that entire first chunk of the book. Had I not enjoyed the entire rest of the series so much or had this been the first book I tried of hers, I might have DNF'd it out of pure dislike and disgust with Ekan. I wanted to strangle him or punch him in the face. Thankfully, he does eventually learn to be a little more honest with Beth and little less focused on himself throughout the book (and the reader also gets to learn that he's not quite as self centered as he seems at first).
c) Oquilion's dad

Ridiculous Space Pirates

I’d seen this book bandied about on various threads and finally decided to give it a go and I have to say it’s one of the most ridiculous RH book I’ve read. When I say ridiculous what I mean is pretty darn funny. I will preface this by saying that I normally get a bit squicked out by abduction romances because really that isn’t any way to start out with a fun story line. However, this book got around that by abducting a human who was happy to leave Earth to get away from an abusive ex and ended up being bought by aliens who look after her. Having that emotional chicanery allowed me to relax and enjoy the book.

Beth wakes up in an alien auction house at least 6 months pregnant when the last thing she remembered was being significantly less so and being on Earth. Bought by a hyperactive toddler hopped up on caffeine and sugar, otherwise known as Ekan an alien from a race of space pirates, Beth spends much of the next few weeks in a state of confusion.

Ekan and his shipmates come from a race that form crews around one female mate. They seem to spend all their time in space and relish the challenge of theft, be it gems, food or time with their mate. I like how though all the crew are the same race and have overarching behavioural traits, they are all distinct personalities, with different relationships with Beth.

This was decent sized book and filled with witty banter and miscommunications of things that get lost in cultural translation. Beth is a movie fanatic and spends a lot of time relating things to her favourite characters and scripts and as a movie fan it all made sense to me, though someone who is less aware of movies may miss some of the references, but I don’t think it would stop the enjoyment of it.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but I’m certain it won’t be the last because I loved the way she looked at the world and spent a lot of my time during my read laughing.

I wish I could give this book more stars. It’s that good. I love a story that literally has me propping up my sleep deprived eyelids just to read one more chapter.
My manically uncontrolled laughter-snorting while reading the “Hey Macarena” bit woke the whole house up and I am unrepentant it was worth all the grumbling.
AM is amazing in how seamlessly she slips in true geek movie quotes at just the right moment. And don’t get me started on Beth’s sarcasm, as an aficionado of the “sarcasm is so the best form of whit” club, I loved every minute of it.
Most of all I love that Beth doesn’t get all “I’m too good for revenge”, no she’s human and strong and knows stuff needs to be done. Loved every moment of this story.

Holy hell, I have grey hairs now.

This book is FOREVER. I didn’t realize it until about more than 50% but now I’m ripping out my hair waiting for the POINT. At chapter 31 out of 62 not counting the THREE extra chapters as Epilogues for a total of 65- I’m loosing my mind over here people. I have better things to do and the favor I felt for these characters in the beginning is RAPIDLY decreasing by the moment.

Beth starts of about as solid as any FL in her position does. She’s kinda scared, kinda not sure what’s going on, and on her way to quickly finding her sea legs given the circumstances. Normally, after the first couple of chapters this is where readers discover there’s a bright side to her unfathomable situation.

Something to help distinguish herself among the guys, that makes her unique or valuable and has them falling over themselves to woo her. It’s where readers start to hit stride finding out the FL has a really quirky personality or is a wiz at, idk, knives, technology, SOMETHING that brings something to the team as a whole that they didn’t already have before and that she can do uniquely. But no, not in this case.

Beth is about as interesting and flavorful as white bread at this point.

Her character has made no progress from when she was picked up to where she is now 50% of the book later. No. Just. No. And the parts of her character I try to put myself in her shoes for aren’t good enough. She hates violence in any way shape or form. Ok, but she doesn’t reactive negatively enough to warrant the guys changing their behavior. She’s scared her baby will get hurt. Ok, but not scared enough to be insanely overly cautious or feral given the circumstances. She literally slips from one thing to another and never really ekes out a personality of her own in any of the time she finds herself in situations and with other characters. She’s got about as much substance as candy floss.

And I feel bad for the guys.

The brothers sound amazing. (Especially Daddy Qolt *prr* that first POV) I thought Ekan would be the hardest to escape the trap of favoritism and screen time for, turns out, authors still got it bad for the Luck magnet but Qolt can lock me up in the Bridge whenever he wants (lol). Aside from the two brothers, Tiernan is the next best character in line for winner of the “authors love and affection award” for points of lovability and personality. Meanwhile, Prov and Oquilion are just these lovely little prop vases in the corner on set. Pretty, but I’m paying as much attention to them as I am to the curtains.

Spoilers:

Idk, this just wasn’t for me. The moment Qolt lost his memory and stopped being EPIC after finally meeting him for like, 2 seconds after all the build!! I’m tapping out. I can’t. And yeah Ekan’s sorry and feels bad, but clearly not enough the crew doesn’t stop to rob some ships along their way to a good medical place.

Also, Ekan isn’t the first one she sleeps with it’s Tiernan for what seems to be no other reason than she made Ekan steal the s*x android before Tiernan was done, so she watched Ekan use the android in front of her (so weird, she describes not being jelly of an android bc it’s just a c*m sleeve without reflecting a little that maybe she should be worried she could be the same?) and then goes to bed with Tiernan after watching Ekan finish like 2+2=10. What? 🙃

Oh, and Prov admits at some point being more interested in the FL’s c**t then the life’s she’s growing inside her unlike the brothers until he feels the babe kick. And surprisingly for essentially the entire base of this FL’s personality, the baby is pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Being pregnant doesn’t make the guys treat her MORE fragilely or with MORE over protectiveness, if anything 3 of them are giant man children through and through, and being pregnant doesn’t sway her decision making or rational at all. She’s not extra aggressive or protective or wary or frightened by what’s going on around her, the people she meets, so on. She’s just along for the ride and she doesn’t really care. Her pregnancy is just an added spice to her “pick-me” archetype.

So, now I’m skimming if I ever finish this at all. Sorry.

After many months waiting for this story, it was a surprise to finally see Beth's story and her "stable of studs". Thankfully the book is over 300 pages (so many books now are under 200 pages, too short for my taste) and a reverse harem, one of my fav genres.

This is a standalone book, so if you haven't read any of the previous books you can still get the story.

Our h is a pregnant human woman abducted by aliens and sold as a "bride-slave" to a Na'Rith pirate who then takes her to his ship and to his four other crewmates. Let me tell you, these Na'Rith are crazy and their entire culture is based on stealing, pranking, fighting...not precisely zen. Also, they form reverse harem relationships where one woman is wooed by a whole crew (which varies in number, but basically more than one guy) and in this case, Beth, our MC, is the fortunate recipient of the wooing...What comes next is several chapters of pandemonium (love this word) and endless bantering that kept me chuckling the whole time.

It is difficult, but the author was able to make me like every single one of the five Na'Rith pirates-suitors-wooers, they do have distinct personalities and there was a moment I wasn't sure which one I liked most (Tiernan? Q'ol?), found them all absolutely adorable.

Although a reverse harem, the interactions were all one-on-one, so no group sexy times; I do prefer a lot more smut in my RH, so if you are looking for a smutty read, this is not it, this book is more sweet than erotic IMO. Also, no m-m, if that is your preference/dislike.

The only thing for me was, I would have liked more action and less bantering (it is funny up to a point); I would prefer more detailed descriptions of the characters and aliens, otherwise I just picture them as humans...the more alien-y they are, the better. The Rakhii are still the best aliens ever!

This series has become for me a kind of therapy; Amanda has the ability to make me feel good with her books, she creates stories that have warmth and humor even in rough situations, and her characters are lovable, so you feel with them and for them.

I also appreciate the author notes and acknowledgements at the end of the book, it is always nice to know where the story may go next and it feels more personal to the reader because the author seems to include you in the process of creation with all their doubts, ups and downs.

Thank you so much, Amanda, always a pleasure (I didn't expect that)...I have many more Spanish proverbs to share! LOL

Audiobook Review:
Overall: 4.5-5/5
Story: 4.5-5
Performance: 5/5
Narrator: Nick Cracknell

Nick Cracknell is becoming one of my favorite narrators, the more I listen to him the more I love the way he narrates female POVs and this book he did Beth well! I loved the fact that I could tell every single character apart, and the bonus of the sound/vocal manipulation was perfect!
Job well done! The Audio made me love this book even more!
I can’t wait for him to narrate more characters from this universe ☺️
