PhoenixI met the love of my life when I was seventeen years old. She was my best friend, my love, my soulmate. Even at such a young age, we had a solid plan for our future. I would join the Marines after graduation. We would get married after my first deployment. When my time with Marines was up, we would start a family. But that’s not what happened. I came home to find out she disappeared a few weeks after I left. Pop and Gram had everyone searching for her. Pop even hired some of the best private investigators in the business, but it was as if she vanished into thin air. I never gave up the search. I was bound and determined to find her or find out what happened to her, though I never had much to go on.Then, one day, out of the blue, Ember walked into my clubhouse and set off a chain of events that ultimately revealed almost forty years of secrets. With my club by my side, we began sorting through the mess left behind by one man’s obsessive jealousy. After a year of combing through a maze of underground tunnels and hidden rooms and sorting through boxes and boxes of files, I finally found the name I had been searching for.Annabelle Burnett.Hang on, doll face, I’m on my way.Phoenix is Book Three of the Blackwings MC series. Intended for audiences 18 and over due to explicit language, sexual content, and violence.

We are 3 books into this series, we know bad things happened and Phoenix and Annabelle were separated. With this book we got to see their romance as kids and then Phoenix find Annabelle and how that went.

It was interesting to see the before part, to see them as carefree kids. I did love how Phoenix and his grandparents did what they could to help and protect Annabelle, all the while making it seem like they weren't at all.

The situation that Phoenix found Annabelle in was about the best possible a person could imagine. She was safe, living a good life, was surrounded by men he knew and he knew would protect and take care of her, even as they didn't know her connection to him. Their getting to know each other again was nice, not instalove at all, just a familiarity to build upon. I did laugh at Phoenix manipulating things to 1 hotel room with 1 bed, because of course he would stack the deck in his favor. By the time they were back at Phoenix's home they seemed pretty solid, the iffy part was Annabelle meeting Ember and Coal, but even that went well. I loved that none of the kids blamed Annabelle, they knew she was doing the best she could with the info she had, but all of them welcomed the extra family.

The drama at the end was crazy! I'm glad that things were cleared up and in a way that now everyone is free from the horrors of the past and now they all can live their lives happy.

Phoenix

Phoenix the man who makes double everything. And that’s all I’m going to say. This is one you have to read. But read in order so your not confused but read however you want. Just when I think Teagen can’t write a better book she goes and does it even better. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

*WARNING* for audiences 18+ because of explicit language, sexual content, and violence.
I started with book 1 of this series and although these can be read as stand alones, I am so glad I read them in order. The story from book one starts us on a tangled mess revolving around around the Blackwing Prez, Phoenix. I have enjoyed the unraveling of the plot of finding the happiness Phoenix was robbed of. This series is an excellent representation of what I expect from an MC story. Brooks does an amazing job of bringing us an intriguing plot with interesting, loyal, biker boys and their women. RECOMMENDED

Awesome second chance romance MC style. Phoenix & Annabelle have their future changed before they even really began. This one was extra sweet & I loved the epilogue.

When Phoenix met Annabelle Burnett he knew she did not have a good home life and it was his gut instinct to protect her. The closer they became Phoenix knew she was it for him. They had a plan that would keep them together forever, but when he left for the Marines she completely disappeared and years later he is still looking for her.

Annabelle Burnett was betrayed by her own family. Separated from Phoenix, she knew she would never move on from him but circumstances had her moving to California and hiding from a man who is determined to ruin her life.

Phoenix finally gets a lead on Annabelle and when they come face to face, he wants answers. A lot of secrets have been hidden on both sides and after they are revealed will Phoenix and Annabelle feel the same about one another or will the time apart keep them apart?

I was not sure on this one but am so glad I picked this one up. There are hints to this story in several of the books and it was a complete surprise how their story unfolded. The chemistry is off the charts. I also liked the fact that Phoenix kept looking for Annabelle when he could easily have given up. Great read.

The tragic event of not being able to raise your kids would be gut wrenching.. the joy of finally filling the gap . Absolutely breathtaking. You feel this one deep .

Just the thought of the evil people who truly do things like this to other people . They are out there . So love your loved ones . Kiss your blessings.

Read on KU.
Phoenix is the third book in the Blackwings MC series by the talented Teagan Brooks. I suggest reading them in order to get the full story.
Phoenix is my favorite Blackwings MC character so I was excited to read his story. We read about his and Annabelle’s love throughout the other books so to get the entire narrative, from high school to twenty years later, it was well worth it.
Ms. Brooks weaves drama and mystery throughout her books; mixing in memorable yet flawed characters; and the loyal, protective brotherhood of the MC. This combination makes for a fabulous series I cannot get enough of.

Phoenix finally finds his Annabelle after nineteen years of searching. There were a couple of bumps in the road, but for the most part Phoenix and Annabelle reconnected smoothly. Both of these characters were extremely happy to have found each other again, and a deep love still existed.

As with the first two books in this series, more secrets were revealed. There were also some pretty messed up family histories discovered that were a little bit too confusing to keep up with.

3.75!!! ANNABELLAS STORY YALL. I can’t. This book was actually good and so fun to read. Nothing like a motorcycle romance that also combines cults and human trafficking. Like what??? Who comes up with this stuff.

How do books in series just keep getting better?

This was an amazing book! There is so much to rave about but that would be giving the story away!

The characters in this series are so awesome. I can't wait to read the other brothers stories and meet the women the hook up with.

This is the better of the 3 books I've read so far but from the start I was annoyed at the big plot holes. The guy that helps Annabelle escape the farm is a federal agent, seriously?! He knew she was being held captive and that she had been forced to have a baby, surely a fedral agent would get an entire federal investigation started and feds to storm the farm to look in to other potential crimes at the place, like other people being held against their will at the farm etc but he doesn't!

Yes I know that means Ember would not have been raised on the farm or go to get Phoenix's help in book 1 etc. But that's the problem, the books are based on a plot doesn't make sense. Phoenix doesn't even bother getting pissed at the Fed Luke or ask why he didn't make a case to search the farm for more captives, once he learned about Annabelle being a prisoner and forced to become pregnant by her captor. This problem means the stories of all 3 books is based on a huge plot hole!

I was also shocked that Annabelle would so easily believe Octo when he told her that her baby was gone. These 2 very big plot problems annoyed me early on. There are other plot problems, like when Annabelle thinks she's being followed and by the 3rd bar, despite the guy still following, she just goes off to the toilets to call Phoenix, instead of warning all the girls to be careful and making them stay together! After everything she had been through I just didn't believe that.

I also didn't get why she wouldnt let Phoenix buy her a phone. I get that she wants to be independant and not take too much from him but it was just stupid. I mean, the love of your life is going off to war and wants to buy you a phone so he can talk to you when he can get time and you refuse because of some misplaced 'I'm independent' nonsense. Grrr.. it was issues like this that annoyed me. Then the whole big deal that was made out of the old lady thing. They are the love of each others lives, have kids together, so it seems weird that the author would write Phoneix being weary of telling Anbabelle he claimed her as his old lady and Annabelle being weird about being classed as his old lady.

By the time it got to Octavious escaping, the same bad guy from book 1, I was bored! The final straw was who the second bad guy from the Disciples of death turned out to be, I was left thinking this is just too much! So I did struggle with the raring I was going to go with 2 stars because of the plot issues but I gave this a 3 star rating because this was a bit better at tapping into emotions for the character's than the previous two books were, and it did have some good dialogue. I also liked the character's including the new ones like Cole and Nathan etc

I found Dash, Duke and Phoenix on Amazon Unlimited so I thought I’d give them a read. I loved them! The characters pulled me right in. The storylines kept me interested and invested. I ended up buying them for my collection and cannot wait for more. I’m looking forward to Carbon’s story and more from the other characters. Especially want to know how Phoenix deals with the new twins!!

Phoenix

Phoenix was true to his name. No matter what came at him he still came out on top. I was happy he found the missing pieces of his heart and then some. I love that there is always something to laugh about.
November 6, 2018
Phoenix first met Annabelle at a bonfire and offered to take her home. Shortly after that he fell hard for her and did everything to make things better for her. When it was time to get deployed her left thinking that she would be there waiting for him when he got back. That they would finally get married and start their life together. Instead he came back after a year to find out she has disappeared. Fast forward several years later and Phoenix finds a folder about his beloved Annabelle. He decides he has a strong lead as to where she might be and takes off by himself to see where she may be.

Annabelle has been living with her son Nathan, Nivan per Octavius, in a little town in California. After running away from Octavius with what she thinks as her only living child. She flees and starts a new life. She was told after her C-Section that her little girl died during child birth, not knowing that Ember is very much alive. She is also very much unaware that she had twins.

Will Phoenix finally get HIS happily ever after? I truly think so. I devoured this book from beginning to end. I loved how fast paced the book was, started in the beginning to give a good back story and ended of course with a Teagan Brooks only cliffhanger. I felt for Phoenix as he went through the emotions of finally finding his Annabelle and telling her all the hard stuff she had no idea what happened in their past. I loved the ending and can’t wait for Carbons book to come out next.

OH MY GOD!! This book could not have been any better, like at all!! I have devoured these books. I was so curious as to what was going to happen with Phoenix and Annabelle. I never imagined the twist that their already screwed up lives would take. I am amazed at how fantastic of a find these books were!! Ms. Brooks, I could read your stories all day long! Just the right amount of drama, angst and hotness!!!

I FREAKIN LOVE THIS SERIES!!!
I am so excited about this series. I get halfway through one book and get so excited to find out what's gonna happen next I can't read fast enough. There are surprises around every corner, just when you think everything is finally calming down something else is revealed and shocks the crap out of you. Lol! Phoenix is the epitome of the big badass sexy biker he obviously has had alot of surprises thrown at him but has taken it all in stride. He is over the moon about his son and daughter. His pride in his kids shines out all over him and his love for Annabelle is indescribable. She is definitely THE love of his life. I had to laugh at Annabelle when she jumped on Crystal to claim Phoenix. She is one badass little spitfire. Like mother like daughter I guess. Nathan seems like the sweetest young man, he truly loves his mother. Annabelle raised an amazing kid. I was bawling when Annabelle found out about everything. I could almost feel her pain coming off the pages. As always the suspense is intense and kept me fighting in my seat. I can't wait to read the next book. After the surprise ending of this book I NEED more. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE!

Wow!

First of all this author did an amazing job with Phoenix! I've been waiting on his story since I met him in the first book. Now for him to finally have his One True Love back in his arms again was wonderful, for both of them to spend almost 20yrs still in love with each other still, even after they've been separated all that time is amazing, it's like their love travel through time and stays the same, the heartache they went through was very sad, I cried a lot in their story, but overall they made it. Phenomenal work Teagan Brooks, 5 stars.

Phoenix and Annabelle

Omg what a beautiful story and the chemistry of Phoenix and Annabelle was to me so amazing. I feel I have been right there with all the characters in this series and it keeps getting better. Teagan Brooks is amazing writer. So much action, love and everything on between. I dont want to say too much more and spoil this story. I have Kindle Unlimited but I am buying every book because when I'm in between books that I cant find good to read I plan on re-reading this series. You will not be disappointed. 😉

I can't believe how good the ratings are on this book--and this series as a whole. The search for Annabelle peaked too soon, and I felt like the whole middle of the book didn't have a point. The characters in this series don't make me feel anything for them. I start zoning out when I listen to the audiobooks, and find I don't care how the book ends.

There's a point during the epilogue where the chapter is supposed to be from Phoenix's point of view, but in the middle of a paragraph it switches to Annabelle's point of view, and it's distracting and confusing. How did an editor miss that?
