Love You #1

Oh, Christmas Fling

Rate this book
Strangers, but not really.

Lovers, but not really.

Toe-curling, back-bending, make-you-holla sex whenever it’s possible. Oh, yes, really!

Jeremy

I am single, hard-working, date-aversive, and sexy – according to the ladies. My recent ascent to the helm of my parents’ hotel corporation means that I have little time for frivolous encounters. Critics already peg me as too young for such responsibility, so keeping my name out of the papers in unsavory lights is a necessity. I’m too busy for personal entanglements. I don’t have time for love. Then, one cold night in Alaska happens and changes everything.

Carlee

I have a ridiculously attractive boss. So I’ve heard. I tend to not notice things like that about upper management. I am committed to my job. I’m respected by my peers and colleagues. I keep a clean, professional approach to my career. I want to excel on my own merit. I travel for the Masters Hotel Group as an interventionist, and my work is memorable. Apparently, so is my body. When Jeremy Masters opens his door covering his damp body with nothing but a towel, my world turns upside down.

A Christmas Fling Hot Enough to Stop Winter

Everyone knows that sex between employers and employees is an astounding No! What do you do, though, when the boss makes you feel like the sexiest bombshell who ever lived? What do you do when your employee keeps you up at night wishing that she was under you just one more time? What do you do when it’s so good, you just keep coming back?

When things begin to unravel and threaten to destroy what we’ve built with our careers, we must decide whether a Christmas fling is just a fling or the greatest gift either one of us could receive.

Francesca Penn lives in Texas with her husband and son. While obtaining her Technical Writing degree, a creative writing course and play-writing elective reawakened her desire to create stories. Her brain lives in fiction; even the songs she listens to become music videos in her head.

When she is not writing, she can be found hounding her loved ones with multiple "What-if" scenarios. As a true closet romantic, she is prone to filling up her DVR with Hallmark movies. A friend once told her that she'd trained the whole 20 plus years she'd known her to write romance since her nose was always in a love story.

Francesca believes that love is colorblind and plans to provide a mix of couples of different races and ethnicities because - to her - men are like Skittles, and we all know their motto.

Great Read

I really enjoyed Carlee and Remy's story. They were a cute couple with great chemistry. This was my first time reading something from this author and it definitely won't be the last.

Smut on the very first page because they had a hook up months ago. Cute Christmas novella. Really enjoyed it. Just a little more angst than I tend to prefer.

The dynamic between Remy and Carlee was crazy! Remy wasn’t the typical rich guy who slings the d all around town. In fact, he was that dude who is too busy with work to fool with women, so he used his own devices to satisfy his carnal urges. That is until he found himself face to face with a scantily clad Carlee in his hotel room when he was fresh out of the shower and wrapped in a small towel. Then all bets were off.

The initial seduction was sexy and alluring. Carlee couldn’t resist if she wanted to. Well, she pretended like she wanted to, but the pull was too great. It took this couple a very long time to even get back together for a second go around, even though they work in the same building. I must say they both have more restraint than I possess. If a man puts it down on me like Remy did, you better believe he’s getting a text, smoke signals or something.

Anyway, I am happy they finally figured things out. More so Carlee than Remy. He knew what he wanted, but she had to agree. I appreciate the fact that she didn’t just give in so easily. Good story. Very enjoyable read.

Great Story....Again!

I read the first book in this pair...Piping Piper first. Remi and Carlee were featured and I wanted to see how they met. There were some similarities...the couples were connected by their jobs at Remy’s hotel group and both couples had a one nightstand but under different circumstances. I was surprised that Reid and Piper didn’t appear. Remy was not looking for love and didn’t really recognize it until it was almost too late. Carlee was cautious about being with Remy since as she put it....he was her boss’ boss’ boss’ boss or something like that.
A fired employee (didn’t see that one coming) blackmailed Remy about his relationship with Carlee and Remy said all the wrong things. He had to do a bit of groveling AND dating other people before he could make it right. With me, he earned serious brownie points when he explained why his Christmas 🎄 was still up in April. And can I say again how awesome the side characters are? At least I don’t have to wait to read Jason’s story!!!!

So gooooooood!!!!

HiThe cover is self explanatory🔥🔥🔥

First time I believe I have seen a cover of a book perfectly embody the story. This was hot hot hot from start to finish. To say that Remy and Carlee's chemistry was sizzling is an understatement. Following along at the moments you could feel them falling in love, especially during the Christmas decorations and dance. Introducing Jason in to the fold was so fun and I can't wait to read more about him. This was a really good read, I enjoyed it so much.

Love it!

Prologue was HOT 🔥! You find yourself wondering when they got back to where they left off, would there be "the talk" about their relationship status. Mark, a former employee, is a true a-hole that didn't care about who he hurt to get what he wanted from Remy to support his drug habit. Carlee is hilarious especially the deck scene. I will leave it at that. Read the story. That was one of my favorite part. Overall I loved it!

This is Carlee and Jeremy's story. I read book 2 first and enjoyed it so much I wanted to read any other books by this author. This too was a good read. I love how this author makes her stories about the couples and their issues and does not involve all the secondary characters up into their business. She is an engaging and interesting read. I look forward to Read Dex's and Carly's story. I would highly recommend this author and her stories.

GOOD GOOD GOOD!!!!!

That was a beautiful read, I can't believe it takes him eight months after such a fantastic weekend of epic sex to never even speak to her when she works for him and in the same building!!! Wow, Remy has a lot of self control and so is Carlee ... Anyway, they are fantastic together!
In a way Mark's "assholeness" help them, mostly Remy get his shit together.
I love Ron, hopefully Ron will have his own story.

This is my first read by this author but definitely not my last. I bought this book off a whim and I dont regret it. I loved the chemistry between Remy and Carlee. I'm glad they got it together finally. Great read. I honestly thought the next story would be about Jason he was very interesting to me but now I'm excited to meet Dex. Great job Francesca!

Looks like I had attempted to read this before and had stopped very early on. I finished it on second attempt and with a few skipped paragraphs. Spicyness was decent but story overall was fine…wasn’t invested in them as a couple. Some of the characters banter was enjoyable. I’ve read much more (overall) enjoyable books from the author such as Axel in Heaven.

Amazing read

My first Francesca Penn novel. I am so impressed. The character development and storyline was in point. Remey and Carlee came to life. I was heavily invested in start of the relationship and completely excited about the end. This was an amazing read.

Great quick Christmas spicy read!

I loved Carlee & Remy. The spice starts as soon as you read the first sentence in this book. Even though this was a quick read, there was a good love story packed in. I love Francesca Penn books and this one was no exception.
