"My name is Issa and I am hunted... I hold a power that I neither understand nor can barely control..."
The battle for Maioria has begun. Issa faces a deadly enemy as the Immortal Lord's attention turns fully in her direction. The hunt is on for the Raven Queen and nothing will stand in Baelthrom's way, he must destroy this new power that grows with the rising dark moon... or assimilate it. Only by embracing the warrior Raven Queen can Issa hope to face the darkness that threatens to consume her.

Hameka, a cunning, ruthless and brilliant commander, takes his savage fleet of undead to the tranquil shores of Celene. Cirosa, her plans thwarted, hungers for revenge.

Issa's enemies are many, and few seek to join her cause as she struggles to survive against those that would enslave and kill her. But a new hope is rising and it lies in the soul of a long forgotten king. Will the Cursed King and his Banished Legion awaken to remember his past? Can he find his knights before it is too late?

A fabulous second instalment to The Goddess Prophecies! An emotional Roller Coaster ride, which brought tears of sadness and tears of joy. Araya Evermore has done it again with The Fall of Celene, I couldn't put this book down. Can't wait to start book 3 in the series, 'Storm Holt'

I am definitely hooked. Couldn't put this book down. Going to read the next in the series now. I hate for them to end. Can't wait to see what Issa aka The Raven Queen will do next.

Engrossing story

This is a great story with a pure distinction between good and evil. I consider this among my favorite series of books.

Book 2, and my expectations were high having so enjoyed Book 1. I wasn't in the least disappointed. In this book our heroine Issa and Asaph , the last Dragon Lord, start learning about their capabilities . New friends are made, friends are lost, and Issa's hoped for safe place is ripped from her. As in the first book, you are pulled along at top speed, barely getting to the bottom of one page before galloping on.
I can thoroughly recommend this series to anybody who enjoys the sword and sorcery genre. Now...if you'll excuse me...I have to get on with the next book!!!

Araya is a true feminist and her seers, priestesses, witches, goddesses and heroines are tremendous and all who love strength in women will enjoy these fantastic thrilling and full of excitement books. I love the way Issa even when she killed Kethet still felt sorry for who he had been and released his soul to send it on its way, i also love the way life cannot be killed and there are those who have lived on more than one life!! Issa is coming into her own and in this book she takes on the role of raven queen completely and together with the dragon lord who is her opposite in that she is the dark moon representative and he is the sun goddess representative they fight bitter battles against all kinds of evil monsters sent by the evil source Baelthrom who is becoming stronger and stronger!! will they avenge everyone they loved and lost in their lives including their parents and friends and the isle of the goddess herself - Celene!! will they ever meet up with the wizard and the evil Cirosa the high priestess and betrayer of the temple and Celene itself?? Dying to read the 3rd book in this series as i am sure there is much more that needs to take place still before we reach the end!!! well done Araya, keep them coming!
