I thought I would like this story better than I did. The romance takes off at warp speed. The story of the h's mean possessive ex-husband seemed to have major gaps in the story. The H has an ex-wife that gave up her parental rights in exchange for millions and then has the nerve to come back because she's out of money. HFN ending. 4 Brothers, 1 Down, 3 to Go!
I really love a romance where the couple are honest with each other from the beginning. It allows you to focus on their story and not be frustrated by easily fixable problems. I look forward to reading the other books.
Complete me. I enjoyed this book! This book was a little different than I expected. Sabrina challenges Garrett Terrell on how he is raising his son by taking his son out of school to go on a Roundup. Garrett suggested she try his way and see if it's educational. Sabrina takes him up on his offer and is forever changed by the adventure. She also falls deeply in love with Garrett through their quest to survive the Roundup when they get trapped and have to spend several days alone together. They found out they have more in common than they thought. Good read!
I really enjoyed reading this. The story line was great, full of drama and suspense. It was a sweet love story. Garrett Terrell, a billionaire rancher, was used to getting his way and totally turned against romance since his divorce from his gold digging ex wife Michelle. But, when he met his son Scott’s new teacher, Sabrina Burke, it was sparks of an overwhelming sense of wanting to protect her was too strong to deny. The attraction for and challenge of Sabrina to Garrett was just something that both aggravated and excited him. He had to come up with a some way to get her closer to him. The story of the cattle drive was very interesting and full of drama. The drive would cause Garrett and Sabrina to grow closer together. And more in love after there being isolated after a storm.
Garrett’s ex-wife attempted to throw a monkey wrench into their relationship, but Garrett was not having that. Even their son Scott was not having it either. Even Garrett’s cousin Daphne was trying her best to be matchmaker for her cousin and Sabrina.
Sabrina and her daughter Marie was in for another life changing move for the better on the ranch with plenty of people and a large family with Garrett, Scott and cousins and their families. This was something Sabrina always wanted. Garrett and Sabrina would now have the time to develop their new love affair on the ranch, just what they wanted.
This was a nice read. The love story of Garrett and Sabrina. Billionaire father has son in private school but would take him out of school for whatever outing he had planned. Sabrina is his teacher and raises objections. Garrett challenge her to bring his son whole class on the next outing. There are a couple of flaws in the book like changing a character name at the end of the story and the characters had sex almost immediately after she arrives at the ranch.
This was a cute story about a teacher and a rancher. Sabrina is Scott's teacher and Garrett is his father. Sabrina and Garrett go head to head during a parent teacher conference and a challenge is issued. They go from enemies to lovers. The story moved along well but ended a bit abruptly in my opinion.
I love the hint of drama, but not too much; the fact that they say how their feeling and not try to hide it with prolonged silly, stereotypical notion that the other doesn’t feel the same; and most of all I like that is sweet and to the point. Well worth the read and the second nook was just as delightful.
Nice short romance story with a little bit of drama. Garrett and Sabrina get their second chance at love. I didn't really care for the ending.. And would liked more character development.
I loved it!!! I can't wait to read more in the series. The rough and rugged can be sweet and loving to the right one. They had a rough start but it ended much differently.
Really!!!....it was not a bad read but ending too quickly, missing many details, and insta love had me irritated. Also sex scenes was crap. You know the sex scenes are bad if I am giving pointers as I read.😂😂😂
The heroine had a rough marriage finally her and her daughter Marie is in a new place she has a wonderful job at a prestigious school. One of her students father is a real pain in the butt, he is forever pulling his son out of school. It seems they are always at each other's throats.. Maybe that is how it is when you are trying to hide your true feelings. I would give this a 3.5-4 there was hardly any interaction between the hero and the heroine's daughter.
Hmm, it's a decent read it's just missing spark. I really liked the cowboy plot, the characters were good, their chemistry was very good, the drama was there but it barely engaged me on the emotional level. I think a little more romancing would've help me but in spite of that I am still looking forward to reading something else by this author and hope to soon read the next book in this series.
This was actually a good book minus the fact that the author sometimes forgot some things...such as Garret took off his shirt so why three sentences later Sabrina is pulling off that same shirt. Or he should be her that's just a couple but once you get past that it was a good too short INCOMPLETE story.
Nothing like a lovely ranch romance to read. This story gave me hope as an African American woman, single parent of two, that love comes in different colors. I loved Sabrina and Garrets story.
The story line was really sweet and romantic. However, the character chemistry was way off and the passionate moments were really bland. There was not enough character development to really pull off the story.
