Ethan and Max finally have their ass-baby! Hallelujah!! (It wasn't actually an "ass-baby" per se, rather, the baby was delivered via a male version of a c-section... Phew).

This was a really lovely addition to the series. While reading this story, and witnessing Max and Ethan's pure joy over finally meeting their little guy, I realised that I'd actually come to truly care about these characters and their happiness, which was a pleasant realisation.

In the end, this segment put a dopey grin on my face, so I guess the long journey was worth my time and money! Yay!

One to go....

Siento que me repito con mis opiniones pero es que siguen la misma línea, ver a estos personajes ser felices.

Good Read

I really like this story. The couple are so loving. The sexual scene show how much they mean to each other. There is no violence. This section of the story is well written and I can't wait for the next part.

The end?

I'm sad if this is the end. I enjoyed every part of the series and want it to continue. I loved the couple and their happily ever. One of my new favorites.

Omega's Baby: Book 7

This is the seventh of an eight-book series. It begins with Ethan being heavily pregnant. Max's personal assistant takes Ethan out for a walk, while Max is doing his Alpha duties. They attend a play and barbecue that the pack is hosting. Max and Ethan go back home and take a shower, which results in them making love to each other. Both fall asleep and Max wakes up to Ethan having contractions. They rush off to the hospital where Ethan is prepped for surgery, the baby is coming. Their baby boy is healthy and Ethan is starting to wake up from the surgery. Ethan is put into his room and gets to see and hold his baby for the first time. Ethan and Max decide on the name, which is Levi (OMG I can't say how much this made me smile. Levi is my favorite anime character, not to mention my name, which is Lev). Some of the family comes to see the baby and Ethan. Once everyone has gone and left their gifts, they're off to sleep. The morning comes and it's time for breakfast for all of them and time to take pictures of the cute baby. The whole family arrives to see the baby and give them more gifts. Max starts thinking about the future and what to say to the media. Max is so happy that he has his husband and child, which is where the story ends, with Max thinking about all that has happened.

It had never been discussed how Ethan a human male would give birth. It was mentioned that his body would change to grow a sort of uterus so that the fetus could be protected and nourished as the baby grew.
This was a scary time wondering how things would go with the delivery. Family dynamics begin to change

In a word: Read the thing. Cute is a very good word to describe Part 7 of Mated to the Alpha. At long last it’s October and time for Ethan’s pregnancy to be over. We’ve skipped straight from the wedding in Part 6 to the day of the birth of Max and Ethan’s child. There has apparently been a few things happening since the wedding, mostly concerning Ethan’s family. He’s been getting to know his father and aunt better, and his cousin Elias (Evie’s son with her Alpha mate) now works for Max and seems to live with Max and Ethan. Max and Ethan are still in love with each other and are excited for their baby to be born. The whole focus of this part was the birth of the baby (which is not told in any sort of graphic detail, and probably not totally accurate) and his first day of life. Max and Ethan are both enamoured with their new son, and reading about them with him is very cute indeed. The writing still isn’t the greatest, which dampened my enthusiasm a bit, but the emotions were all there. So now Max and Ethan’s family is finally complete, and it’s adorable. Total no-angst new family fluff and I am all here for it.

This entry in the series is completely about the baby's birth (although they manage to sneak in some sex right before). It's a but of awwwww moments. Enjoyed getting to find out the sex and name of the baby. No guy would be interested in this book at all but it feeds that oh-babies-are-so-cute thing for women. The copyediting continues to be a big problem so if that drives you nut this is not for you.
