Absolutely relatable. I love how this follows the family throughout the generations with a connection to each short story yet can be read as a standalone. Recommend this for everyone that like generational paranormal elements.

Loved this new book and all of the stories. Victoria has done it again. It reminds me of old stories that people tell around a campfire bout mysterious things that happen to them with no explanation of how it happened. It is an easy and intriguing read. Takes you to a place of wonder and magic. Love getting to experience these stories and feeling like I am right in the mix. Can’t wait to see what she writes next.

I have waited for this book for a while and I am not disappointed! Dannon is back and in her prime! Each story held my interest and like any great story I pushed for the ending but immediately wished it would go on much more. This is a wonderful group of short stories! Best Book of the Year!
This was such an enjoyable experience. I loved every minute of reading these stories. What a wonderful way to spend time. All of these stories resonated with me. I could see myself in each story. Really enjoyed
This was such a cool concept. Going from a family in the past who consciously used their magic to the future families where magic had been hidden for safety’s sake, even from themselves, was a great exploration of what happens when the magic asserts itself into their lives. I wonder if we might all want to remember our magic

Another dip into Victoria's world. Like reading seven short books in one. Fast easy stories that are slightly different while at the same time they feel like they could tie together. Paranormal, drama, and magic sprinkled all around. Gets you thinking of the "what if's".

Amazing!
What a fabulous book. The short story format grabbed me from the get go and I didn’t come up for air til I had finished it all! Individual stories were wonderful. Many surprise twists and turns. I found myself wishing the short stories could be longer novels. Highly recommend this collection to anyone!

eclectic
That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think about this book. I loved the varied stories. They were all different. And magical. The series of short stories were entertaining and kept my interest. I don’t think I’ve read anything by Danann that I didn’t like!!
