It can't all be Proust and Camus

Football chants is a specialised topic, not to everyones taste. Football crowds are definitely non PC, they can be cruel, racist, homophobic, misogynistic - but also witty, wise and outrageously funny.

I liked this book very much. Whilst it covers a lot of old ground, there are some real gems in here. I had heard it before but my favourite is the chant aimed at the Rangers goalie just after he had been diagnosed schizophrenic - "theres only two Andy Gorams"

A good read if you dont mind strong language and cruel barbs.

All together now "Who ate all the pies ..."
