I've been writing for over fifteen years, most of those stories languishing on my computer. A couple of years ago my fear of never trying to publish my stories overcame my fear of failure. The result is my first book, "Sow What You Reap". It is the first in the Reaping Covetous series. The next book, "Dead Women Tell Tales" should be out by the end of October 2021.
I love supernatural, urban fantasy, paranormal, and mystery genres. I write both M/F and M/M oriented stories.

This series is so damn cute. I really enjoy this world. I felt like this book leaned a bit too hard on the fated mates trope and needed more relationship development between Parsnip and Vander, so the romance was lacking. But the story was enjoyable anyway and I’m very much looking forward to the next book.

En general no ha estado mal como lectura. Ha sido entretenida y me lo he pasado bien. Sin embargo, he de admitir que no me ha gustado tanto como la anterior entrega. Siento que le quedo muy redonda y está en comparación le falta esa chispa, sobre todo en cuanto se refiere al romance de los protagonistas.
A ver que tal los dos últimos libros.

I love this series and this book is no exception. It is easy to get caught up into these characters lives and become true invested in their story. As each book continues, this ongoing glimpse into these amazing character's stories, this girl is going to definitely be there for it!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite comfort series.
I looove this world!! Every time I pick up a Perfect Pixie book, I know I'm in for some serious cuteness and coziness paired with just the right amount of angst.
Parsnip and Vander are just as adorable as I expected and I'm SO HAPPY that our previous couples still play significant parts in the plot. Seeing all our pixies together made my heart so happy! Omg and Vander joining Sedrick and Lucroy's Partners of Pixies Support Group!? EEEEP, I LOVE THEM and I love how much they love their pixies.
The main plot was just as fun and engaging as the previous volumes but this time we also get quite a lot of subplot and background stuff - not to mention the hints at what's going to happen in the next book. I know it's probably not going to happen but I just want to put this out there: IF PHIL AND SEDRICK GOT ANOTHER BOOK/NOVELLA, I WOULD BE OVER THE FUCKING MOON There's stuff that happens in this volume that kiiiind of makes me feel like it's a possibility but I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up. Waaah, I just want more Phil so bad!!
While I (clearly) really loved this one, I do have some small critiques too. First off, there was a bit more...cheesiness to some of the dialogue than I'd like. Not a huge issue cause this is just a very fluffy series in general but it definitely toed the line of cringey this time around. Second, while I SOOO appreciate and love that as the series progresses, the characters are a little more open with their horniness for each other, I do wish that Parsnip and Vander had a little bit more of an emotional connection too. I get the whole "one and only" fated mate thing kind of makes up for it, but I do wish there were more "this is WHY you're my mate" moments.
Regardless, I'm super eager for the next book cause we're shifting over to FAIRIES. I've loved Ray's character since the first book, so I can't wait to see what happens with him and Wendall!

I love this. Best of the series so far. A good hurt/comfort story with a little bit of angst. I like the pairing between the prickly and vain pixie and the charming and genuinely good warlock. Parsnip was very different than the stereotype social pixie, reserved and prefers to be alone for reasons he kept to himself. Similarly, Vander was good-natured and has high moral standards opposite of what typical warlocks were know for.
I find Parsnip vulnerable and delicate. He made me feel like hugging him. And Vander appeared to be a very charming, swoon-worthy person. He's rude for always staring at people because whoever he decides to stare at will just melt on the spot. 😍🤣
The mismatched couples were great so far but the premise of Ray and Wendell was exciting. I think a cunning fairy and a very innocent not-so Zombie would be entertaining. 😂

Fast becoming a favorite series
Parsnip is living a lie. Having survived a fate all pixies fear, he should be happy. Instead due to ridiculous prejudices he has to hide behind charms. And his previous warlock was just in an accident and his last charm is days away from expiring.
Spoilers ahead.
This series is really well done. Sure, people will scoff over names probably. But there's just so much joy written into the stories. They're simple, but they don't need ridiculously extravagant embellishments to make them shine. The world building is great. The characters evolve and develop. The plots are simple but the subplots are fun twists. And there's an ongoing arc in the background that I'm curious to see how it gets resolved. The next book looks to not be pixie based, so the title will be interesting to see if the theme continues. And while some people may belittle Parsnip's logic and actions, I don't think they realize the enormous pressure put on those who work in front of cameras. I do hope that with this ending being as it is that maybe a certain pixie becomes a figurehead for a movement to destigmatize the current prejudices. And readers should be warned about possible triggers: trafficking of pixies for dust, imprisonment for same reasons, violence (magical and physical), and magical draining of characters. While these are all fictional acts, trafficking, imprisonment, abuse, and loss of life (substitute draining funds or other reasons besides magic) are real events in many people's lives and deserve consideration. A brief mention in the blurb wouldn't be amiss. Outside that, I really am enjoying this series and am very curious to see where we are taken next time. I wondered when the 1 character was introduced if he would remain a background character or get his own story. I'm happy that he will get to tell us his tale. And that we'll get to learn about a race of beings that has been described as indifferent to everything but the law they enforce.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this series. This book was just as amazing as the first two. Absolutely will be rereading this book (and the entire series) many more times to come.

I was going to say the romance was lacking but ended up crying a little at the end so I guess I'm not that mad about it.
It is refreshing to see legal drama in urban fantasy. Lawyer fairies are the stuff of nightmares.
Kinda mad how they nerfed the brownie. I want to see one break bad and do murders.

I really liked the book. I would have preferred more romance between the MCs, but what they had was heartwarming too. I love how they call their SO. Mate in the first book, beloved in the second and “my one and only” in this one ❤️
These books are so good and I can’t wait for the next one. That’s gonna be a 🤯 one. Since I met the fairy lawyer, I wanted to know his story. And the other MC is cute af 🥹

beautifully written, incredibly detailed, a wonder to read!

May’s Perfect Pixie series just took a decidedly darker turn in an already beautiful and layered world. Much like the vibrantly colored, glittery pixies the stories have been written about, Perfectly Charmed Pixie has at its heart, one Parsnip, a well known social pixie, as famous for his unusual aquamarine color as he is for his cable television series.
But the truth is on the cover. Parsnip’s fabulous Aqua is a fake. In reality, he’s faded to a ombré grey shadow. The lack of color born of trauma and the fact he was a prisoner of a pixie dust addict for months who drained him.
Yes, this story has a pixie dealing with his ongoing struggles with depression, PTSD, anxiety, and the very real consequences of his past. All by staring in a mirror. Plus Parsnip is fighting multiple internal and external battles here. With his fans and the Network over the expectations for his appearance, his insecurities, and his real fears for himself.
May has really outdone herself here. Because the series themes and world building just expanded in several quiet horrific ways.
Addiction to pixie dust has been mentioned before in the previous books but now we see the consequences. And worse . Because Parsley, Parsnip’s brother, is running a recovery home for those pixies saved from trafficking operations. But that’s still a minor aspect of the narrative.
A huge one is the warlock, Vander Kines, a fantastic character. Guardian to a young brownie, Byx, Vander owns a small shop that makes magical charms and he’s barely making ends meet. Mostly due to the fact he’s got a strong moral compass and won’t take jobs he feels is wrong or unlawful.
Vander and his ward, Byx, have a warm family relationship with a loss of a loved one that connects them. That beautiful dynamic carries over into the one that starts when Parsnips contacts Vander out of desperation.
Vander and Parsnips emotionally exist, at the beginning, outside of the circle of friends who form the basis of the strengths of the strange pairings here. But the subtle similarities in Parsnip’s relationship and personality bring them together with pixies Phil and Peaches, along with their fated mates. I loved this journey and all the tiny elements that the author wove into it. Btw? Those hair clips of Byx’s are incredible!
May’s attention to detail, however, is never lost by the sheer texture and depth of the new storylines being added into the universe, the darkness that is now so much closer to the characters than we thought, and new awareness of old dangers brought to light.
The different Pixie relationships are loving and unusual, the many beings who are important to the inner circle are expanding their storyline, and a new realm has opened up.
There’s so many key issues that May puts into play at various stages in the narrative that it’s chilling watching how they slowly develop into something more complex and threatening than has ever been hinted at before. It happens with whispers and the occasional nod from the characters that something is definitely amiss and will need to be investigated. Or something even more serious.
I got delicious shivers and a whole new appreciation for this author’s style and craftsmanship in this book and series.
The fourth book has a title. Is it part of a new series or this one? It’s most definitely connected. I needs it now I do.
Not familiar with this author? This is a fabulous place to start, with this series. But they really must be read in the order they are written in because of the relationships and events that occur that are building the foundation.
If I could give higher ratings I would.

vander kines, a warlock living a mundane life. he is one of the strongest warlocks in the area but also has morals. he won't take a job that will harm anyone. it makes him less money but it his moral grounds are important to him. having the custody of bryx, a brownie, a daughter of his teacher, he lives his life working on charms and taking care of her. but one day when a pixie comes to his shop with a charm request, he sends him back. only to regret it later when he finds out parsnip is his one and only.
parsnip, an aqua colored social pixie. a once aqua colored pixie. due to being held captive for his fairy dust by an orge, parsnip, at the brink of death, lost his colors. faded to a gray shell of his previous beauty, to hold the image of a successful social pixie up, he wears a charm to artificially make him aqua. but problems arises when the warlock he used to get his charms from gets into an accident and is out of commission. he needs to find a powerful and discreet warlock to help him. enter vander kines.
vander kines first refuses his request and parsnip is worried. but later on when vander suddenly agrees, parsnip is ecstatic. and it is not only for the fact he is getting his charm but also because of his attraction to the warlock.
and vander is already head over heels because he can help his one and only. he does everything to make the charm work the best even when he does not know why parsnip requires it.
“one day you’re going to tell me. one day you will trust me enough to share your pain with me. i know that day isn’t today. there’s no reason it should be. but i promise you i won’t betray your secrets. you’re safe with me parsnip.”
it was lovely how much vander adored parnsip. how he let him come to him on his own, lets him keeps his secret until he can trust him. it was so cute.
“you are the loveliest creature i have ever laid eyes upon. in here”—vander poked a finger over my heart—“and the packaging that incredible soul is wrapped within is perfect—no matter the color.”
what i did not like much was the fact that their relationship felt too quick almost. like there was a build up for smut but i failed to see where exactly they started to love each other. i clearly missed that part. and maybe that is the reason i had to give it 3.5 instead of 4 stars. it felt a little lacking in ways that the first book did not. loved bryx's character though. and there was just so much peached and lucroy moony that i almost started to be bored of that. i did want more sedrick and phil though, which we did get but also did not.
loved though that there is some amount of smut and not many fade to black scenes. and the epilogue has me wanting to read the next book asap. i absolutely adore this series. the world is so interesting.
go read this if you love worldbuilding, pixies, fairies, warlocks, little angst, cohesive plot and a cozy romance with smut this time!

vander kines, a warlock living a mundane life. he is one of the strongest warlocks in the area but also has morals. he won't take a job that will harm anyone. it makes him less money but it his moral grounds are important to him. having the custody of bryx, a brownie, a daughter of his teacher, he lives his life working on charms and taking care of her. but one day when a pixie comes to his shop with a charm request, he sends him back. only to regret it later when he finds out parsnip is his one and only.
parsnip, an aqua colored social pixie. a once aqua colored pixie. due to being held captive for his fairy dust by an orge, parsnip, at the brink of death, lost his colors. faded to a gray shell of his previous beauty, to hold the image of a successful social pixie up, he wears a charm to artificially make him aqua. but problems arises when the warlock he used to get his charms from gets into an accident and is out of commission. he needs to find a powerful and discreet warlock to help him. enter vander kines.
vander kines first refuses his request and parsnip is worried. but later on when vander suddenly agrees, parsnip is ecstatic. and it is not only for the fact he is getting his charm but also because of his attraction to the warlock.
and vander is already head over heels because he can help his one and only. he does everything to make the charm work the best even when he does not know why parsnip requires it.
“one day you’re going to tell me. one day you will trust me enough to share your pain with me. i know that day isn’t today. there’s no reason it should be. but i promise you i won’t betray your secrets. you’re safe with me parsnip.”
it was lovely how much vander adored parnsip. how he let him come to him on his own, lets him keeps his secret until he can trust him. it was so cute.
“you are the loveliest creature i have ever laid eyes upon. in here”—vander poked a finger over my heart—“and the packaging that incredible soul is wrapped within is perfect—no matter the color.”
what i did not like much was the fact that their relationship felt too quick almost. like there was a build up for smut but i failed to see where exactly they started to love each other. i clearly missed that part. and maybe that is the reason i had to give it 3.5 instead of 4 stars. it felt a little lacking in ways that the first book did not. loved bryx's character though. and there was just so much peached and lucroy moony that i almost started to be bored of that. i did want more sedrick and phil though, which we did get but also did not.
loved though that there is some amount of smut and not many fade to black scenes. and the epilogue has me wanting to read the next book asap. i absolutely adore this series. the world is so interesting.
go read this if you love worldbuilding, pixies, fairies, warlocks, little angst, cohesive plot and a cozy romance with smut this time!

Wasn't sure if I was going to like Parsnip since social pixies always seemed to be such a-holes (especially to my darling Phil) but I actually loved this story. Parsnip was almost the complete opposite of a social pixie and for good reason. Vander was just trying to pay the bills and raise his feisty Brownie ward Byx (love those hair clips girl) to the best of his abilities. The three of them made such a cute family unit. All of the magical drama with an unhinged witch, and let's not forget the addicted ogre, really held my interest and kept me turning the pages.
The only reason it wasn't a 5 star read is because I was hoping the big reveal of Peaches' and Lucroy's new home addition would have been shown, as well as the filming of Parsnip going public about his captivity and fading. But. Since Phil said they should have a watch party, I'm hoping it will all be shared in the next book, as well as an update on Parsnip's career and where they plan to live. And while we're at it, let's throw in an update on Parsnip's caring and supportive brother Parsley.
And OMG that epilogue. Can't wait to see how Hellfire Ray and sweet Wendall make things work. I have to admit I thought it was going to be Wendall and Johnny, but Hellfire Ray is a more than acceptable mate for him :)

an interesting spin, finally a book in the series with heavier topics. it certainly held my interest and finished it within the day. parsnip certainly had to live tru humongous trauma and it showed in his snippy behavior which was annoying but refreshing at times. compared to the other pixies who were all hugs, sunshine and lovey dovey he showed some spirit.
the first villain plot was interesting and the showdown had me on the edge of my seat. but the secondary villain… i‘m so over the ari schemes plot, let it go

Dragon and kitten hair clips for the win
This series just keeps getting better. Parsnip is a sweet social pixie who is recovering from serious trauma and trying to keep his life together. Vander is a warlock with an adopted brownie who is just trying to keep his shop open and beer in his fridge.
The relationship between Vander and Parsnip is sweet beyond their initial meeting. Vander and Byx are hilarious with each other and show a supportive loving parent/child relationship even as they grieve Byx's mom. Vander freaking out over Byx's hair clips is one of my favorite scenes.
Overall the books are mostly stand alone but each one ties in the characters and storylines well. I'm looking forward to the series continuing

I feel like I should have loved this one more than I did, vacillating between which level of 3.5 I should give it. I really enjoyed individual elements e.g.: the MCs are interesting; Parsnip and his trauma are complex and depicted well; Vander’s relationship with his ward Byx is great; I loved spending time with Phil and Peaches and am invested in Parsnip’s twin brother Parsley from just a few conversations. Somehow though these individual elements aren’t equally enjoyable as a whole.
Parsnip and Vander’s romance is kinda flat. Parsnip’s need for Vander’s unconditional support and protection and Vander’s willingness to give his life in various ways is lovely, but I just wasn’t emotionally invested in them as a couple. Vander’s relationship with Byx and Parsnip’s relationships with Parsley, have more genuine heart and emotional heft than their romantic pairing. Hell, even Parsnip’s brief on-page interaction with the pixie who rescues trafficked pixies has more connection and resonance.
This illustrates the double-edge sword of fated mate bonds. Their shortcut to romance can be undercut by actually earned relationships since the characters only draw to one another is magical fate. It also doesn’t help that Phil and Peaches’ bonds and relationships grew on-page and felt organic. MJ May seems to have been unable to balance the darker elements and Parsnip’s deep trauma with the romance, and the shortcut didn’t land for me.
I also pretty much hate the third act. I hate when a character has to be ridiculously stupid to move them into position and to get the payoff for the things the author sets up. May does provide some reasonable cover for some choices, but I couldn’t ignore easily filled loop holes. I could have more easily rolled with it if the antagonist hadn’t gone from 0 to infinity in 10s flat. I get that the story is illustrating how restraining orders are practically useless bc they hinge on the perpetrator physically harming someone and how it’s not always apparent how dangerous and unhinged a person can be, butled to unprecedented levels of wtf for me. The pace is solid for everything the story is doing, it just may have required a bit more room for development/introduction. This is one of those reads where I really wish I could rate it higher bc there is so much good, but I end up being more disappointed when all that good doesn’t resonate.

4.25/5 I enjoyed so much about this book, but I didn’t like it quite as much as the first two. I can’t quite tell if this was Parsnip’s perception or reality, but I still found it very hard to like social pixies in general. Unliked with nature or home and hearth pixies in the previous two books, I wasn’t left feeling like I really now understood the essence of social pixies. (Or maybe I just didn’t like what that seemed to be?)
The fact that Phil has so many bad experiences with them his whole life, and then the fact that Parsnip feels so trapped in the superficial, competitive world of the social pixies that he’s willing to give up weeks of his life to keep fitting in…. This just makes them seem so toxic. While I came to like Parsnip, I was still concerned about the overall group of them (unlike most of the other races which have really been showcased as having good and bad members and good and bad purposes).
I also found it deeply disturbing that not that many years ago Parsnip planned to enslave someone for his own benefit (anticipated adoration of others). This goes horribly wrong and Parsnip suffers badly for it, but just the fact that he seriously planned it as part of his social pixie life goals made me really uncomfortable. I believed that he changed given what he went through, but I can’t quite forget that this apparently seemed like a reasonable action to him six years ago.
However, I *did* end up liking Parsnip. I didn’t agree with social pixies goals, but he was clearly in a tough place trying to maintain what his nature required after being changed by trauma. I liked how close he got to Peaches and Phil, and how he didn’t judge Phil. I liked how Vander made him feel safe and how he eventually gained the strength to be himself. Vander was a lot of fun. I liked his big heart and his morals and his direct effort to counter his own prejudice against social pixies when confronted with Parsnip. Byx was hilarious, and her hair charms were the best. I enjoyed learning more about warlock, witch, and brownie magic. This is a very interesting world!
We had a little bit of Arie in the background and some other creepy criminal behaviour that seems like it’ll come up in future books. I’ve been hoping for Ray’s book since we first met him, so I’m definitely looking forward to #4!

Magical romp
This is a cute, fun read. The characters are vibrant, and the world feels alive. The feeling that this is just a glimpse into a wider world is fun, the world close to modern but undeniably magical.
The biggest source of that magical feeling might be the titular pixies.
Parsnips' story might not be my favorite out of the series, but it's still brilliantly good, and I couldn't put it down the first time I read it. The perfect pixie stories are best read in order, as each builds on the prior stories to grow the world organically. I've found myself returning to re read the set from the beginning multiple times, and for me, they seem to come together as a good comfort story. 😊 a cute meeting, a bit of adventure that's never yet been based on forced misunderstandings, and a happy ending with a new couple building lives together.
Found family seems to be a strong running theme, with Vander and his ward Byx feeling mostly like an adopted sibling relationship, a bit paternal. Parsnip is readily accepting, and quickly accepted, into the family dynamic.
I love how same sex pairings are openly accepted in the world as presented, and wish the real world was as accepting although the inter-species relationships are given a bit of side eye in universe. Most teritiary characters seem to have a strong "if no one's being harmed, it's none of my business" reaction, which is still better than some real-life reactions to lgbtqia relationships. This is very much an escapism feel-good fantasy with a plot that moves along on a personal level to the characters.
I love and recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Perfectly Charmed Pixie is the third book in the Perfect Pixie series so I want to say you really need to read the first 2 books before reading this one, which you'll really enjoy because they are also 5 star reads, This is a great series!!!!!! This book is about Parsnip he's a Pixie who when he was young and a little Reckless made a very bad decision and put his life in jeopardy, now he's still dealing with the Trauma and Consequences of that choice. The Other MC is a warlock named Vander, Even though he possesses great Magical powers That he could profit from, He chooses to only use his magical abilities for good, like he sells charms to help people with Chronic pain or to help them keep warm in the winter. Both MCs in this book are wonderful characters who totally deserve a HEA this is such a Creative an imagitive story, it deals with PTSD, Anxiety, Insecurity and feeling like you're not good enough, being afraid of disappointing people. it's a story about realizing your perfect just the way you are and the Trauma we suffer in life, makes us stronger and the People who really love us do so because of the person we are on the inside. My final thoughts on this book are, it's a great fantasy with great characters and I
loved the way the author incorporated emotional and Mental health struggles into this story, it's a great book that I couldn't put down until I was finished, I Highly recommend this book and all the books in this series, and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I'm torn on this. Because I absolutely LOVED book 1 and I wanted to love this one as much but I just didn't. What I loved:
- Parsnip, once you got past his superficial social pixie persona and you realized what he was hiding. I think is was a good parallel to people who will do anything to maintain their social media/influencer reputation
- Parsnip's relationship with his brother
- The over-arching story of Parsnip's enemy
- Seeing Phil and Peaches and how they accepted Parsnip no questions
- Hellfire Ray (I think I just love his name - can't wait until next book)
What I didn't love
- The relationship between Parsnip and Vander. I just didn't feel it. I mean it was fine, but just seemed a bit bland to me
- so much emphasis on the Brownie ward (yes, she played a role later, but it seemed like a large part of the story was explaining who she was and how Vander came to care for her and their fears for her)
- I also kept forgetting that Parsnip was a guy. Not that he acted like a girl (Pixies are naturally more feminine in appearance) but there were so many women in the story that sometimes I had to remember that Parsnip wasn't one as well. It bothered me that I kept being reminded "oh right, he's a guy".
So I enjoyed it. I love the world and the on-going stories but I didn't feel this relationship was really as strong as the others. Phil is still my fave maybe because he was struggling with being different from other pixies and I felt for him.

There are some really bizarre plot points in this book that feel as though they've not been thought through properly, such as if you're bonded to a pixie you can't be punished for a crime because it would impact them too - how is that justice for the victim? Or protecting society? And not just encouraging more crime?
And, if you're an ogre addicted to pixie dust, you can also do what you want because you're unwell. That doesn't fly at all - you wouldn't let a drunk driver off because they're an alcoholic. They're kidnapping and harming, possibly killing pixies! There are trafficking rings!
There was also a line about tougher sanctions for certain crimes, and how they'd now not have a trial. Seriously, what the fuck??
Also, the warlock office apparently recorded conversations - would that not have been useful in identifying the werewolf, and proof they were attempting to commit a crime?

These lovely pixies and this lovely universe!
I think every book is getting better and better...
From Phil to Peaches and now to Parsnip's story, my heart and my brain are full of these charismatic and sweet pixies...
Their pixie dust is magical and unique like their unusual significant other.
A werewolf, a vampire and a warlock are the men destined to protect and love these ethereal creatures.
We had already an idea about Parsnip and social pixies from the previous stories, but the real one is a bit sad, a bit surprising and a lot romantic. Vander is such a sweetheart that if we haven't already realized that Parsnip is equally sweet under the many layers of superficial glamour, we would think that he does not deserve him... Good Read
I highly enjoy the world that the author has created for her characters to experience and share with the readers. The world as a whole is balanced with both good, bad and completely jaded characters, each fitting into the other with a well thought out plan towards further story developments.
I have read the previous two books, Phil and Sed were a slow burn and I wasn’t all that crazy about Peaches (mostly it’s the name) and Lucroy, but they story still had me turning pages to the end. I think I liked Parsnip And Vander the most, though, I have a thing for tragically traumatized characters.

I highly enjoy the world that the author has created for her characters to experience and share with the readers. The world as a whole is balanced with both good, bad and completely jaded characters, each fitting into the other with a well thought out plan towards further story developments.
I have read the previous two books, Phil and Sed were a slow burn and I wasn’t all that crazy about Peaches (mostly it’s the name) and Lucroy, but they story still had me turning pages to the end. I think I liked Parsnip And Vander the most, though, I have a thing for tragically traumatized characters.

Perfectly perfect in any color
Parsnip is a beautiful aqua colored pixie who was captured and drained almost to death. His coloring did not revive when he was saved from deaths door. All he ever wanted was to be who he used to be. Vibrant with color and beauty as a social pixie should be. He is on the run from a hateful, jealous witch and his life force slowly drained by a nasty warlock, also an Orge addicted to pixie dust. Its what leads him to Vander and Vander see the price Parsnip has to pay. It takes all he has to help his one true love be happy. Vander loves him for who he is both inside and out and will protect him from all those after him as well. Vander and Bye have become more important than what Parsnip is hiding and saving them is all that matters.

The stories in this series continue to get better and better.
I absolutely adored Parsnip and Vander. They really were made for each other, and it showed throughout the book. And throw little miss brownie, Byx, in the mix, and you have the cutest made family.
The plot was seriously good, and it touched upon several different and relevant topics. The villains were being their villainous selves, and the main one in this story had me angry and in fits.
I was also glad to see our regular cast of characters make an appearance - Peaches, Lucroy, Phil, Sed, and the kiddos - as well as my favorite character, Mr. Hellfire Rayburn.
I love me some Hellfire Rayburn, and his story is finally coming up...at least I hope it's his story.
