This was a really good collection of stories. You will find in these pages crimes, terrors, horrors and the bizarre. He has covered many types of stories from zombies to the haunted.
Jason has mixed them up well and not bored you with the same old style and theme in this collection.
I like his style of writing its tense and engrossing he really makes makes you feel part of the thrill and terror.
A writer to watch out for with a promising future that has got to be heard more of. Mostly all the stories here i was hooked and enjoyed them.
He has potential messed up my thoughts for a couple of days.
Jason's writing has all the hallmarks of a well schooled writer and reader of the dark tale.
I believe in this writer really doing well a fresh new talent.

Isolation
Haunting and an atmospheric story you will be hanging on every words meaningful mark and melancholic expression.
Haunting story of loss and eerie homes.

Chemical burn
A thrilling story of a home brewed liquid that you could experience highs from but the creator sees the dangers and needs another road in life.
Written well again hooks you and engrossing.

Room 118
A story of terror and horror. One mans obsession with what lies behind room 118. Will there be any horrors behind those closed doors?
Well done story.

Is exactly as named suggests, the survival of the fittest in a world of the undead. A good little zombie tale i liked his descriptive writing he places you in the thick of it and the terror.

Serpent's Son
A story of a serpent and a new birth. The news of missing girls and a rapist.
Chilling and bizarre.

The Seminary
If they are performing near you, the Seminary, stay well away.
If you don't you best make sure you have faith.

Divorce and the Black Cat
Alcohol and divorce destroyers of the soul. But hey leave the lovely cat alone.

House of Coal
A mysterious fire in a home and an equally mysterious protagonist.

This is an excellent collection of nine horror-fueled short stories from writer Jason White. Of the nine my favorite story are "The Witch at Midnight" about a young girl and the grandmother who shows her her frighteningly true self; "Divorce and the Black Cat" is a perfectly exceptional retelling of Poe's classic story and set in the modern era; and finally the title story, "Isolation" about a woman coping with the death of her husband in the war in Afghanistan. I highly recommend this collection and look forward to reading more by this author.

The writing is exceptional! The stories covered some serious horror fiction ground! If you like zombies, inter-species shenanigans, lycanthropy, witches, and other cool horrific things then you will dig this collection of short stories! I gave it 4.5 stars! cheers everyone!

A very interesting read. Well written and on some levels thought provoking. Although not what I would necessarily call frightening. Over all I did enjoy reading this collection of stories.

Jason White's Isolation is an excellent collection of short stories that are extremely well written with a dark thread that holds your attention from start to finish. The collection includes nine stories that are all equal in their brilliance and structure.

The stories range from a sense of loss in the opening story and carries through the theme of isolation in all its many shades and colours. The imagery is fantastic and haunts with their excellent description.

From the modern classic writings of Room 118, with it sense of mystery and the pay off at the end is very believable and rich. Without giving anything away, when you find out what is in Room 118, the story becomes very unforgettable.

The excellent Seminary with its twist in the tale gives a scary, horrid sense of expectations that makes you gasp through to the final paragraph. I also very much enjoyed his ode to Poe with the classic Divorce and the Black Cat with also gives a nod to Dario Argento's version of The Black Cat.

The main characters are very memorable and are written very strongly with a sense of purpose. There are so many strong stories in this collection that I find it hard to pick just one.

This is a very solid collection that holds something for everyone with extremely fantastic stories that have strong pay offs and work together to make an unforgettable experience. This is a definite read for anyone who is a fan of horror or the fantastic.

There is a great future ahead from this new author and I suggest you get in on ground level to become a fan because Jason White is definitely going to go places and that is one train you do not want to miss.

Compulsively readable, Jason White's fiction is an uncanny blend of the ethereal and the morbid. The short stories in this collection astounded me, terrified me, and saddened me in turns. He writes the stories I want to read: tough, gritty, focused. Werewolves, witches, and crazed boyfriends caper through this collection like visions out of a demented carnival. There are traces of Barker, hints of King, but these are Jason White's worlds. So beware. And enjoy!

I found this author on YouTube and had watched him for a year or more not knowing he was an author because he's very humble and I've never seen him try to sell his work through YouTube which I find very commendable. The stories in this collection are all great but the first and third are stuck in my mind for the rest of my life. I very much enjoyed this work and will be consuming the rest of Jason's work very soon

A literate collection of short horror fiction. The Serpent's Son was my favorite. I rarely find myself feeling unnerved reading horror of late, but this one got to me.

Look forward to seeing more of Mr. White's work in the future.

The first story is about a woman whose last words to her husband before he left for the war, were said in anger, and ended up being the last things she said to him, ever. It was just alright to me in its simplicity.

Story 2 was a trip and very imaginative. Who knew cleaning toilets could be insightful.

Story 3 was awkward at the beginning and did not hold up well.
The rest of the stories were interesting to some degree, but I am not one who loves shorts, so for me they were all "Okay."

This was a very good book of shorts. I had previously read Room 118 which had a few of these stories in it, so I was familiar with Jason White and I really like his writing style. The stories read quick and are written well. I might even have to stop saying I have a hard time with short stories because I blew thru these and thoroughly enjoyed them.
