You’ll love this epic six-book series, written years before the events in Europe and Asia as the Master of Military Thrillers weaves us through a story more faction than fiction.

This Boxset includes the books, Battlefield Ukraine, Korea, Taiwan, Pacific, Russia, and China in one running format the way it was intended to be read.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. The emphasis on the effects of war on individual characters raised the interest level for me, and the inclusion of the last chapter describing their personal outcomes after the end of the war was appreciated. I believe the authors' treatment of the use of nuclear weapons in the book was particularly pragmatic as it rose above the usual one-dimensional consideration of moral issues alone. While I fear the use of such horrendously destructive weapons, I believe that giving in to tyrants is nothing more than slow suicide, particularly if you value basic human freedoms.
I have fallen in love with James and Miranda’s books! They combine a deep understanding of human behavior, how the sausage is made in D.C., small unit tactics, and what’s coming next in terms of war-tech, nation-state aspirations, and more.
If you’re a fan of Flynn, Thor, and Schlichter, get this book.
Good strategic level techo/alternate history thriller. Well thought out with plenty of technical details and background. Views of main characters tend to play to a simplistic anti-left/liberal conspiracy view but then again that is probably required for this sort of story. Regardless I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was put off the book by the condencending and false characterization of the somewhat stupid, anxious for war US military vs the calm, cool, peace loving diplomat trying to save the day. In my experience, which is much like Rosones, the opposite is more true than not. Not always, but more than not.
I'm amazed that these authors can write so many fantastic novels, I hope that they never stops writing. Their books are some of the best Entertainment I have read and worth the time to read them. Thank you for a very fun entertaining read.
This compiled series (books 1-6) is a tour de force by its authors. The depth of detail, believable characters and harrowing description of desperate combat make this opus well worth reading.
The series has been repackaged into what appears to be one book. I looked at when it was published, and thought it was a new series. It is not. Well worth the time for a second read! Still didn’t want to put it down. A good story!
Enjoyed the series and kept wanting to get to the conclusion to see if would make it through. Books could use a little better editing some mistakes were subtle but obvious to an alert reader
It has been a long time since I read anything that was not job-related or school-related. Red Storm got me back into the world of recreational reading. “I kissed the girl and I liked it!”
Would recommend this to everyone that loves alternative military fiction. Well written and very believable considering what is happening in Ukraine right now.
This series was simply awesome and amazing! Rosone and Watson have produced the most comprehensive look at LIKELY scenarios of World War III in Asia and Europe. The DETAIL is absolutely impressive. The story told in the persons of the soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and world leaders makes it come alive. KUDOS to Rosone and Watson for an absolutely engaging read!
