Did anyone else picture Mel Vaught as Natasha Lyonne? If this is ever made into a movie, she would be my dream casting. Doesn’t she just have the right swagger, the perfect gravelly voice? A perfect combination between Russian Doll’s Nadia and OITNB’s Nicky? This is how I visualised her the whole way through.

Is this book best read in physical paper format, or is an e-book just as good? Is this book relevant for readers in their 60s? Not that we don't read a broad range of stuff, but if most of the references are "young", it might not get the point across.

And the book definitely has quite a millennial point of view, however the themes certainly transcend generational appeal. There are a lot of references to drug use, so that might be a deterring factor. But if you're open-minded and want a wonderful, character-driven story that champions female friendship, I would highly recommend giving it a go. (less)
