Hi all -- just finished watching the series over the course of a year plus. I am curious to see about the differences between the show and series, that being said as I consider reading them, I remember the first season pretty well. Thus, would I need to read the first book or could I go to the second? I don't mind any spoilers that would come from the first book in an answer. Thanks so much!

Personally Darkly Dreaming Dexter was a story that never lag of suspens and keeps your mind wondering. Making you trying to solve the situation. The books are somewhat close to the series with some minor details. The big plot is the same to the series. Series or books they are both very good. Hope this helps (less)
